GITAM Admission Test or GAT is an entrance test for admission to various UG and PG courses offered by the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM). - For the scholarships offered through various National and State Entrance Tests, the students are required to apply for GITAM Admission Test (GAT) and must attend the counseling for admission as per the schedule.

- The children of GITAM employees admitted in full-time programmes are further eligible to avail only 25% of Merit Scholarship through GAT, National and State Entrance Tests.

Step 1 is Registration:
- Log on to https://apply.gitam.edu to access the applicants' portal.
- Click on the "Register" button to open the registration page. On this page, applicants need to fill in the basic personal information, as well as any other details that are required.
Step 2 is filling in the Applicant's Current Education details:
- This section asks for the applicant's current education details, including the current field of study, the name of your school, the subjects he/ she is studying, the campus interested in, the year of completion of graduation / +2, the list of eligible disciplines, and eligible programs.
- After entering the details, click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page. Then click the "Next" button to proceed to the next page and move to the course selection section.
Step 3 is filling in the Course Selection details:
- This section displays the eligible courses based on the group selected by the applicant in their current education section. On this page, the applicant needs to select the courses he/she is interested in. After selection, the system will display the eligibility criteria for the chosen course and the applicant will need to click "Add Course" to apply.

GITAM GAT 2025 Admission Process
Following are the steps involved in the GITAM GAT admission process:
Step 1: Register for GITAM GAT
Firstly, aspirants need to register for GITAM GAT. The application process is online and the candidates have to submit the form with payment of the application fee online.
Step 3: Download GITAM GAT 2025 admit card
Aspirants can download GITAM GAT 2025 admit card from the official website which will be made available. The admit card will have details like the candidate's name, address, contact details, test centres etc.
Step 4: Appear for GITAM GAT 2025
GITAM GAT is conducted in computer based test mode and in remote proctored test mode. Aspirants are advised to reach the exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam.
Step 5: Check GITAM GAT 2025 exam result
GITAM GAT 2025 results are declared on the official website in online mode only. The result will have a candidate's merit position, score card with total marks, and marks obtained in each subject.
Step 6: Appear for Counselling
Aspirants who clear the exam need to appear for GITAM GAT 2025 counselling which will be held in online mode.
GITAM GAT 2025 Admit Card
The candidates registered for GAT 2025, are issued the GAT 2025 admit card. The GITAM GAT 2025 admit card can be downloaded from the official website once issued. On the admit card, candidates can check the allotted exam centre name, address, timings for the exam and important instructions to be followed at the exam hall.
On the day of the exam candidates have to carry the printed copy of the GAT 2025 admit card with any one of the following valid ID proof:
- Passport
- Driving License
- EC voter ID card
- IT PAN card
- School or College photo bearing ID card
- Aadhar Card
GITAM GAT 2025 Exam Instructions
On the day of the exam candidates must follow the following guidelines:
- The candidate has to register his/her name at the registration counter in the test centre.
- The e-hall tickets of the candidates will be verified by the proctor to confirm the candidate's identity.
- The candidate has to produce any one of the following for personal identification: Passport / Driving License / EC voter ID card / IT PAN card / School or College photo bearing ID card / Aadhar Card.
- Each candidate will be given a seat with a computer. Candidate must take the allotted seat at least 15 minutes before the test commences.
- No candidate will be allowed to go outside the test hall till the completion of the entire duration of the test. Once a candidate leaves the test hall, he/she will not be permitted to re-enter the test hall under any circumstances.
- Candidates must sign the attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator. The candidate must obey the rules of the test centres, otherwise, he/she will be automatically debarred from the test.
- In the rare and unlikely event of a technical failure during the test, the candidate may be required to take the test again.
Do not carry: Candidates will not be allowed to carry any textual material, printed or written, bits of paper or any other material except the e-hall ticket into the examination hall. Candidates are also not permitted to bring calculators, slide rules, Clark tables and electronic watches with facilities of calculators, laptop or palmtop computers, personal stereo systems, walkie-talkie sets, mobile phones, paging devices or any other object/device that is likely to be of unfair assistance.

GITAM GAT 2025 Result
GITAM GAT result 2025 is declared in online mode on the official website. Candidates who have appeared in the exam can download the result of GITAM GAT from their respective logins. The merit of a candidate is determined by the score secured in the exam. However, this is subject to the rule of reservation as per UGC guidelines/norms applicable to the university. Students who qualify in the GITAM GAT exam are eligible for admissions only if they fulfil the requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination as per the eligibility criteria.
GITAM GAT 2025 Counselling
GITAM GAT counselling is conducted by GITAM University. The counselling is held online on 7 campuses across the state in online mode. The counselling call letter is released in online mode.
