Placements: Only 25% of the mechanical engineering graduates got the job. Most of them are BPOs or business associates. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA for a core field. Only Bosch is the top recruiter which took only 2 people who might not have joined. Few were offered trainee jobs and the rest got sales jobs.
Placements: The training and placements department is hardworking and very much enthusiastic about our placements. In addition to it, our department i.e CS&E has got an in-house training and placements team which is the first on the whole campus. Every year more than 90% of students are placed. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, SLK are some of the frequent recruiters.
Placements: The placement department is good. Most of the students get placed with average skills too. Almost all students get placed with a salary package that ranges from 3-5 LPA. The highest salary package offered ranges from 15-20 LPA is not to be expected being in tier 2-3 city. Overall, everything is good and worth it.
Placements: The lowest salary package offered here is 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, Infosys, SLK, Cognizant, etc. Job roles offered here are coders, web developers, project managers, etc. About 20% of students got internships from here.
Placements: The college provides good placements. Till now, more than 200 students got placed in many different reputed companies. Before conducting drives, the placement department conducts training for students for the betterment of students, which in turn helps students to get placements.
Placements: I am a student of 2020 passed out batch, and placements in our college are not good. Most of the companies which visit here are BPO. Being an ECE student, I didn't attend placements. Only one core company, i.e., Bosch visit here, but other than that, other core companies don't visit. One more thing is that they place many students in any one company for paid internships. Only system engineering role will be offered, and other than that, sale and marketing roles are offered. The salary package of...
Placements: A lot of companies visit our college, like IT, non-IT and core companies, for placements. They conduct pool campus drives, namely Infosys and Tech Systems, which are new, and they provided good job opportunities, which made students race. There is a placement cell in our college with a TPO who informs the students about the visiting schedules of all companies.
Placements: There is a good scope for campus placements from last 4 years. Many MNCs are visiting the college for placements. Nowadays, the college has signed MOU with many industries in order to give practical exposure to students, which helps the students to get better placement opportunities. But there is less scope for placements in core companies.
Placements: Placements are very low as only a few companies visit the campus. Those companies are also not much-reputed ones. They selected only a few students from the mechanical engineering branch. The percentage of students placed might be below 15%. This is because the students have backlogs.
Placements: Placements in our college are quite good, and GMIT does its best to lead students towards their dream. Our college conducts pool campus drives which give our students a great opportunity to get into their dream companies. The best part is the students of other colleges are also allowed to participate in drives.
Placements: Our campus recruitment programme starts by the beginning of the final year. They send our college proposal to different company HR's and they invite them to conduct interview process in our campus. Then on campus recruitment programme keeps continuing till the end of our final semester. And they offer support for us to attend off campus interview drives.
Placements: Yes, Placements will be available in your college and there will be placement training for students and many globalised companies like Accenture, HGS, HDFC, and many consultancies will come campus. Students who passed out are currently working in top companies. Every year many companies shown their interests in visiting campus. Students will be trained from top reputed campus training team.
Placements: There is still 1 year for the 1st batch to get placements, but 4 students got placed in a good company in their 6th sem. But, the seniors got nice placements as per their talents. They got placed in Symbiosis, Intel and in telecom companies. They offered a nice package of about 5 lacs on average.
Placements: The placements in the college are good, but not the best, during my placement, they got one company, which took money from students. They provide a lot of companies, which visit the college for placement during the final year, and there will be a lot of opportunities for the students with an aggregate of above 65 percent.
Placements: I am still in the second year of my engineering studies. In our college, many students were placed in companies like IBM, TCS, etc. The alumni who joined the company came and shared the difficulties that they faced during the placements, in the programme conducted by the college.
Placements: The placements on the campus were not that good. A bit compared to previous years, it is somewhat better now. There is no option for internship and all in this college. Better to put your efforts to achieve success in your career. Almost, the average package given will be around 2.5-3 LPA.
Placements: There is a placement cell to train the students to become aware of the importance of training and placement in the first year itself. Different stages of placements namely aptitude round, technical round, group discussion, personal round, HR round etc. will be made familiar through the expert trainers. Infosys, Tally, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, gate etc. visited our campus for recruitment.
Placements: The placement for our batch is good, and for our senior batch, it was great. About ten students got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 45,000 per month, the lowest is Rs. 34,000 per month, and the average is Rs. 37,000 per month. TATA, TCS, and TOYOTA are the companies visited the campus. The managing role and some other good roles were offered to the students. About, 54 percent of the students got the internship from the college. The placement cell is present in the college, and it is u...
Placements: As my still in 2nd year I can't describe about our batch but there is an extraordinary placement for our senior batch. Almost 60-70% of the students got placement. The highest salary was 21lakh per annum. There is an special placement cell in college for placement training.
Placements: The placements are very poor. No mass recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys visit this college. Only BPO companies visit this college. The faculty members will always encourage students to attend any pool campus placements, and hence, few students get placed in companies.
