Review of GMIT - GM Institute of Technology.

Placements: Only 25% of the mechanical engineering graduates got the job. Most of them are BPOs or business associates. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA for a core field. Only Bosch is the top recruiter which took only 2 people who might not have joined. Few were offered trainee jobs and the rest got sales jobs.

I suggest others to think before joining here.

Placements: Placements here are poor, especially for students studying in mechanical engineering. Most of the placed students are working in the IT sector or working in low paying low skill core industries. Fewer companies are interested in hiring these graduates nowadays.
