Review of GCCBA (Kolkata).

Placements: Placement Cell is present, Multinational Companies have come in the past for placements. But the absorption rate is very now, again many companies fail to come due to infrastructural inefficiency. MNCs like Pwc, Wipro have come in the past, but the job offering is low.

Review of GCCBA Kolkata.

Placements: Placement cell is very strong. Many MNC comes for placement. Though the offered job category is not up to the mark, in relation to the qualification asked for. Average salary is 4.5 to 5 Lacs per annum. There is huge scope for improvement in the placement cell.

Well totally satisfied with my college and its facilities, faculty as well as by its infrastructure.

Placements: Personally believe best placement offers if one can grab such opportunities. Out of 100 atleast 30 to 40% students can easily gets the chance. Package offered is 4 LPA by Deloitte 3.4 LPA by E&Y etc. Internships are not provided by the college as far I know. But you can do it by your own.

The college is absolutely perfect in every field.

Placements: The placement cell of this college is very good. You will get many opportunities from big companies like E&Y, Deloitte, Amazon, etc., and the pay is also good. There will be registration, online test, personal interview, etc., for selection. It is a good college.

Not satisfied with the placement cell.

Placements: Placement for our senior batch was good enough because many students were selected but at our time the percentage has reduced drastically. There were good companies for campusing like EY, Deloitte, L&T, etc. But they selected very few candidates like Deloitte selected 7 students, where the package was 4.4 Lacs which was good enough for a B.Com graduate, whereas EY selected only one. Fully dissatisfied with the placement cell.

Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration, Kolkata.

Placements: The placements are good enough. Different companies, including the big four and other big companies, come to the college for campus placements. The highest package offered to my seniors in 2017 in the last year batch was 9.4 LPA and the lowest was around 1.8 LPA. This college has a high goodwill so it does provide to its students.

It's a commerce place. It's only to offer Hons degree.

Placements: Many companies Deloitte and E&Y recruited the students. They offered good packages. Besides that, they provided with the further education schedule. The highest annual package offered was Rs. 4,50,000 per annum. Many seniors have got a job in Bangalore, and now they are settled.

GCCBA - The best Commerce college in Eastern India.

Placements: What I am sharing about placements is from what I have heard. The average placement is around 3-4 Lacs per annum with the lowest being 1.8 Lacs and the highest is 9.6 Lacs according to the previous years. Companies like Deloite, HDFC Bank, Godrej, etc. Come here during the placement. All the students who have scored more than 60% are eligible to sit in the placement procedure. There is a placement cell apparently but it is not that good.

Satisfaction to the fullest with respect to education, name, fame, no pocket load and placements.

Placements: As far as placements of the college are concerned, many companies offer good packages to the students who complete their education from this college and the companies offer them good positions. At my time, Vodaphone gave the highest package to 3-4 students.

Value of degree, money and time.

Placements: Placement at our college is average. Companies like E&Y, Future first, HDFC, Godrej etc. came for placement during our time. There is mostly auditing job for the placement. There is no internship programme since it's not a technical degree. Most of the students go for higher studies being it M.A, M.com or other professional courses such as CA, CS C. M.A.

Best for CA aspirants. Best education- least cost.

Placements: The college has a good placement cell. Generally, big 4 audit firms and some other KPO organisation come for campus interviews and some off campus interviews are also organised by companies such as TCS and L&T finance. The pay package can be anything ranging from 4 Lacs to 10 Lacs. The ratio of student who sit for interview to that of selected students is as high as 60%.

Dissatisfied with the faculty.

Placements: The placement opportunities before my batch were not too many. Fortunately, from our batch onwards, the placement opportunities increased with 2 of the big and four audit firms worth mentioning. Approximately 30% of the students got placed across various companies.

Review of Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration.

Placements: Placement facilities are good. The placements are provided if you are a bright student. Big companies like Deloitte and Earnest & Young come to select young minds from the crowd. The process of selection is simple. There is just an online test, and if you pass the test, the next round will be GDPI. Overall, the placement is good.

Whoever comes to this college, get 100% satisfaction about their college life in every aspect.

Placements: Several companies are visiting for placements every year. They offer a full-time job, training job, job and degree etc. Some of the companies are Deloitte, Eastern and Young, etc. The lowest package offered in 2016 was 3.5 LPA, and the highest was 15 LPA. Many of the college students get placement calls too. From college campuses, around 15% to 20% students got a successful internship. The roles of accountant, managers, as well as a supervisor, were offered to the students by the companies.

Good infrastructure and better placements. Overall, it is the best college of Calcutta University.

Placements: One of the best placements for B.Com that you can get in Kolkata. The companies like PWC and TCS come for the placements and packages of near about 3 LPA are offered to the students. The college is very reputed for the placements since it is one of the few colleges that provide a good campus for B.Com students.

Placements: This college has a very active placement process, and many companies like Deloitte, E&Y, Godrej, Wipro, MGH may visit the college to recruit B.Com and M.Com students. Some companies like E&Y offered B.Com students job with a chance to pursue MBA while working. The placement process here is very well taken care of by the college.

I am proud to be a Goenkan. The college is simply awesome.

Placements: The placement was good, but I didn't appear in that because I was pursuing chartered accountancy course. It has a very good faculty. Teachers are very cooperative. They are ready to help day and night. There is a nice studying environment.
