Best college with bad infrastructure.

Placements: Getting admission into Goenka College of Commerce is quite difficult as the cutoff is quite high for general students; it is always above 90% for OBC and SC ST; it is above 80%. But students may get a chance into the college in other rounds, such as moped round, phase to round, etc. Most of my seniors didn't get placement from the college itself; only a few students got placed in big companies where the average package is around 400000 to 8 lakh rupees. As per information from the college in p...

Value for money and time efficient.

Placements: Top recruiting companies like Deloitte, Tata Consultancy, EY, etc., offer campus placements. The highest package was 7 LPA, the lowest package was 3 LPA, and the average package is 4-5 LPA. Almost 60-65% of students get recruited from campus placements, with accountant roles provided.

Goenka college is a reputed college in Kolkata for commerce students.

Placements: Actually, B.Com.-graduated students didn't get placement through the college. In our batch, no students had been placed, but some of them were getting jobs in companies like Capgemini, Ernst, and Young, etc., by their own arrangement. Basically, commerce graduates are getting offers for accounting jobs.

Goenka - Everything you need to know .

Placements: The college does not provide information about placements. Not many students get placed. The average package that the college offers is somewhere in the range of 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies from our course are EY and PWD, and a lot of the students opt for internships.

All about the Goenka college.

Placements: Out of 400+ students, 105 got placements this year. The highest package offered was for 13L p. a. Top recruiting company from the past few years has been Deloitte, Earnest Young and Future Group. Internships are not a major thing in college hardly 15-30 students got in this year (2023).

There is wonderful faculty at minimal fees, but I am dissatisfied with 2020 placements.

Placements: During our course tenure, barely 5% of the students were placed through Goenka's placement cell and the thing to note here is that all of the students that got hired were among top performers with good scores and of course, great aptitude since that was the requirement for on-campus hires. Very few deviations were made. In addition, I personally experienced that candidates pursuing other professional degrees in the accounting and finance fields were given outright preference. However, to date, o...

It is one of the best colleges.

Placements: It is one of the best colleges in India. The college does not provide internships. Placements are not very good if a number of companies are concerned. Only Deloitte and EY visit the college, and no other company visits the college for placements. Low salary packages are offered to the students.

It is very reputed and one of the best colleges in Calcutta. The fee is very low.

Placements: Our college provides placements in top companies like Deloitte. Placements are average here because most of the students opt for higher studies. As compared to other colleges in Calcutta, Goenka is one of the best colleges for placements.

It is one of the best commerce colleges in West Bengal.

Placements: The placements are average here. Many companies visit this college for recruitment. However, the vacancies are very limited in reputed companies. The salary packages offered were around 1.5 LPA to 4 LPA. I suggest every student join this college and get placed in a good company.

Overall, it is a great college for completing the graduation along with a professional course.

Placements: Many companies come to this college for recruitment. However, the seats are very limited for reputed companies. Last time a company named Dinshaws came and offered a salary package of 11 LPA for 10 students. Students must clear all the semesters without any failure and shall score more than 8 GPA overall for placement selection.

It is a good choice to pursue M.Com.

Placements: This year due to COVID-19 pandemic, placements have been very poor in our college, which is not our college fault. However, in the previous year, there were amazing placements, which will be the same criteria every year. I don't have complaints about placements.
