B.Sc. in Medical - Batch of 2024
4.2
2Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
This college is excellent according to my experience.
Placements: This college provides a number of courses like B.A. B.Com B.Sc. (medical and non-medical), B.Voc Beauty and wellness, M.Com M.Sc. botany honours and PGDCA. But the disadvantage is there are only regular courses and till now there are no placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is above average but not excellent as classrooms are not well developed. But college campus is excellent. There is a big canteen with budget friendly food, 2 accupressure park, a big ground, botanical garden, meditation park and much more to add on. A lot of greenery can be seen. Hostelers are getting good facilities and good food in the mess. Medical and sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. Have a friendly nature, very helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is excellent. B.Sc. Medical course curriculum is relevant. It has a great future scope if you pursue M.Sc. and then Ph.D. Semester exams are easy to crack if you study hard and are well prepared.
Other: I chose B.Sc. in medical because it has a great scope in field of teaching if I pursue it with M.Sc. and then Ph.D. Teachers provides so much knowledge regarding this course. This college organises a lot of events like youth festival, talent hunt competitions, and many more. Scholarships are available for merit students. Extracurricular activities are held every month.

B.Sc. in Non-Medical - Batch of 2017
3.4

This college provides good education.
Placements: There were no placements or internships for science students. Few students grabbed decent salary packages. Our batch got a company providing BPL services but the salary was not good. This was the main problem with this institute as despite providing so many facilities, nowadays, students refer colleges to provide training, internships, and placements in top colleges.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. The laboratory was well-equipped and spacious. Classrooms were also huge. Medical room was available with two beds, and all the facilities were provided for first aid. The canteen was well furnished. The quality of food was good at nominal prices. Hostel facilities were better. The mess was also good.
Faculty: Faculty members were experienced. Few of them were Ph.D. scholars. Teachers were also very good at explaining the subject along with practical experiments. The course curriculum did not make students ready for the industry. Semester exams were moderate and many students pass easily.

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) - Batch of 2025

The life of a BA student in GCG, Ludhiana.
Placements: Talking about the placements, they are not up to the mark as only a few of the students get the job . The companies are very few that come to the campus to offer a job. Taking consideration of percentages, it is only 30 to 40 percent of students who get the placement .
Infrastructure: The building of the college is very attractive . It has a big garden for roaming, a huge library and also a canteen for food. The outsiders are not allowed into the college . Hostels are provided by the college itself . They are very clean and hygienic.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is very qualified and helpful . The teachers help us in doubt solving and they are also the real motivators . The semester exams are of good difficulty level and they help us in preparing for our finals . Many of the students pass with good percentages .
Other: The college life is good .

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2021

A lot of changes are required.
Placements: They share details of jobs paying 10k per month. This is the ROI they suggest. They barely have contacts in the industry. They need to have a proper placement cell who ensures a proper ROI of to what we are spending not jist monetarily but, also considering the time we are investing.
Infrastructure: Not upgraded. Teachers don't know about the subjects themselves, teachers don't even know how to communicate in English placement support is zero. I haven't lived in the hostel but, I have visited the hostel infrastructure. It's still manageable as per the charges but, curriculum formulation is not apt.
Faculty: Teachers don't know about the subjects themselves, teachers don't even know how to communicate in English placement support is zero. The teachers have no clue about the background of the topics they have been teaching from years to the batches. Think before you join.

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) - Batch of 2024

Poor placement, Inexpensive, good faculty, infrastructure needs improvement .
Placements: Even though many companies came, still there is not a single placement from our college. There were no internships from previous batches also. Only for psychology students, opportunities are available (college does not provide any internship or placement).
Infrastructure: Smart classes are available but do not work (especially B.A. department). Food available in the canteen is not upto the mark. Building needs renovation. The classrooms are big but not big enough as per the strength of the students, sometimes more than 100 students have to sit in a single class.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and experienced. There are many university toppers from our college. Physical education department is best as it does not only provide nutritional food to the players but also students get the opportunity to play at district and state levels.
Other: Scholarships are provided but only according to the reservations. This college is suitable for those who can not afford expensive colleges. Many Co curriculum activities are organized from every department of college but the infrastructure needs improvement.

I am satisfied with the faculty members as their teaching methods are very good.
Placements: The placement facilities were very less in our course. There were very less organisations that conduct placement seminars, especially for this stream. Though the college campus has tied up with numerous organisations who provide good placements, and that with worthy salary packages. Around 30% of students got recruited by various companies.
Infrastructure: In our college, the infrastructure was good, but not the best. They can provide with even more facilities in a better way. Classrooms were in average conditions. Laboratories are fully air-conditioned and well-maintained. The library was huge, and it was a very good source for students. Hostel facilities were also good, but rooms were not hygienic. The food served was also not hygienic.
Faculty: Faculty members were good at teaching. The whole staff was cooperative, and their methods of teaching were resourceful. This course was also helpful, and it makes students ready for the industry. It provides both practical and theoretical knowledge. The semester's exams were not difficult, and the pass percentage is 40%.
