Government College of Engineering Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Keonjhar

Placements: Placement opportunities at this college are poor. In our course, only 20-30% of students were placed. The highest package was 4-5 Lacs, and the lowest was 2-3 Lacs. Internships are not available on campus. If you want to do an internship off campus, you must get permission from the HOD and the Training and Placement Office.

Placements: Around 50% of students were placed in our college, but in our branch, only 5%-10% of students were placed. Placement scenario is very poor, especially for our branch. Top recruiting companies include Tech Mahindra, Adani, and others.

Placements: Placement is very poor in our college. In the last 2-3 years, it has been going down. Very few students are getting placed in any low-level company, like in call centers, with low packages, and not in core companies. For placement purposes, this college is not giving satisfactory results.

Placements: Companies did not visit our institute. In the last year, the highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Every year, placements are decreasing. I won't suggest this college for placements. In the last 2-3 years, around 30-40% of students got placements.

Placements: Very less percentage of students were placed in this course. Highest package was 5 LPA and lowest package was 2 LPA, average was 3 LPA. Mostly startup (such as ApMoSys,or you can see in the insta page of cse gce keonjhar) visit for placements. Generally very less (tends to zero) students got internship. Role offered is mainly software developer and tester.

Placements: The one and only branch which is good here is the mining branch. CSE and civil branch are still not AICTE affiliated. The number of permanent faculty members is same as the number of people getting placement from here, extremely less, or in better words, only 2% out of all.

Placements: Please note that you are taking admission in Computer Science and Engineering, and this review is for you; otherwise, you can skip it. Don’t trust any reviews that say students are getting placed. Even if they are getting placed, those companies are service roles like customer care support. If you are happy with those kinds of roles, you can join. No one got any internship at least from the support of the college. Yeah, you can try on your own. Forget about coding culture and other tech cultures...
