Top dental college in Telangana.
Placements: There's a compulsory internship conducted by every college across the country in the 5th academic year. The internship involves clinical practice in all the departments of dentistry. During this year, all the students are posted in every department to gain in-depth knowledge of the subject through clinicals.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is pretty good. It is a 5-story building that accommodates both a college and a dental hospital. This building accommodates all nine dental departments. The clinics, lecture halls and laboratories are all there. Each lecture hall can accommodate 100 students, each well-equipped with a projector, furniture and necessary electronics. The campus also has a library with all the amenities necessary for the students, including books related to dentistry written by authors all around the world.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified doctors. They are BDS and MS graduates who graduated from top dental colleges across the country. They are very helpful to the students to build their knowledge in dentistry and also while practicing in the clinicals. Their teaching quality is simply top-notch. Their experience is very high, as they graduated long ago and have been practicing dentistry for over 20 years. The curriculum is given by the Dental Council of India. The exposure a student gets while practicing in the different departments is very convincing and it makes them absolutely ready for the post-graduation course, the exams, and also to face the patients.
Other: Dentistry is an artistic course of science in which the dentist gets the privilege of bringing back the smile on the face of a patient. Dentistry is a very vast subject in itself and it should be given proper importance in the country. Everyone should give priority to their mental health in order to maintain proper overall health. The college management gives great opportunities to the students to participate in dental conferences that take place across the country. By the time we graduate from college, we will have deep knowledge about dentistry and insights into clinical treatment.

Good infrastructure and nice practice for students.
Placements: My college is the only government college in Telangana state. In NEET, we should get 450+ marks to get a seat in our college. So that we get nice practice when we leave our college, many members choose MS courses or go abroad. MS in our college has bright future.
Infrastructure: Experienced faculty members and good infrastructure. We have no Wi-Fi but the instruments are good. We do get handful of material to do treatment of the patients. Hostel is pretty good with 3 members per room. We have two nice messes and 1 cafeteria. Sports activities are a big plus.
Faculty: Teachers are good and strict. Above 50% marks are required to pass in the exams. Above 65% is the first class and above 75% is distinction. Our course is curriculum relevant but after our course, it would be difficult to choose what to do further. Some members choose other streams which are irrelevant to the course. Exams will be difficult to pass and practicals too.
Other: I chose my college because it is the only government college. I want to do MS after UG. Events are less, only freshers activities are there.

Review of Government Dental College and Hospital, Hyderabad.
Placements: Our batch has about 150 batch students, and only 60% of students passed out on the first attempt. Mostly they open a private clinic with average earnings of Rs. 50,000-60,000 per month. Some of my colleagues do preparation for post-graduate and take admission in government college with a monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000 and some prepare for a government job with limited seats and high competition. Some of them got a seat with a salary of Rs. 60,000 per month. It was tough to clear the NEET exam and the government exam, so the best option is to open a private clinic with good earnings. Some of my colleagues who are MS got a salary package of 2-3 LPA each month with good practice. So there is a lot of scopes to do government job, post-graduation and private clinic. You can do a post-graduation in eight branches of dentistry include prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, oral medicine and radiology, pedodontics, endodontic, preventive dentistry and periodontology.
Infrastructure: The hostel is amazing. Generally, the government dental hostel is not as good, but we have the best hostel with good facilities. Both boys and girls have 150 rooms, separate hostel with general bathroom and washroom. There is a large lobby and balcony in the hostel. There is a shower in the bathroom, and a geyser is also available. A large room with one table and 2 chairs are provided to you on admission. Generally, 2 students stay in each room. There is good cleanliness in the hostel with adequate washing every 3-4 days. The main problem in the hostel is security. CCTV cameras are placed in the hostel, but some are not working. The security guards are always sleeping, and sometimes outside people enter hostel premises. There is a large mess on the ground floor in the hostel with 16 tables, and on another side, there is a large parking for our bikes. There is a reading room with chairs and a table at college for reading in a calm environment. There is a large library with about 2000 dental course-related books and 1500 other general knowledge books. All newspapers are available library, so you get all the news of the world. There are 6 computers available at the library, but Wi-Fi is very slow. Another problem for sports, there is no large space for playing cricket, so we go 5 kilometres away to a large ground for playing cricket. Indoor rooms for sports are there for a table tennis game. There is a TV room in the middle of the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are excellent in our college. They guide you to better combine a clinic and theoretical knowledge, which is very important for medical students. They present the difficult cases in front of students and discuss and ask the students what they learn from this case, which is excellent. All teachers come on time, and they give a good response when you ask a question about your doubt. Assessments are taken by every department's HOD at the end of the post of that department. There is no semester system, but exams are conducted yearly at the end of September, and repeated exams for failed students are taken after 6 months. Exams are tough, but they check your basic learning and understanding by taking viva voce and practical exams. Theory exams are very tough. We studied day and night to prepare for exams in the last 6 months. The tough exams and extra burden on practical case discussion prepare students to become good doctors.
Other: I have chosen this course because my dad did MS, and his clinic was running excellent, so I plan to do an MS and take over his clinic after his retirement. This field is entirely based on your skill at your fingertips, and I think I have this inborn because of my dad. I have been interested in dentistry from an early age. I go to my dad clinic and see things that dad do. I advise our college should provide some extra weights on practical things in the clinic as compare to lecture because you remember and understand them better by seeing than hearing in lecture. There is a party at the end of the year which is given by new coming batch every year which is great with dance, drama and singing performances. Every summer, it conducts a sports week with many indoor and outdoor games.

It is a good college, but I don't know much because I am in the 1st year.
Placements: Many students are placed, but I don't know exactly because I am in the 1st year of the course. Salary packages offered are also good. This course needs interest and skill. There are many departments in BDS which you can select in PG. Approximately 60% of the students got an internship.
Infrastructure: This course requires a high infrastructure, and our college has good infrastructure and facilities. Our college provides a library, study room and labs which are required. Hostel rooms are good but not that good. There are many sports and games. Food served is good, and there is also a canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are helpful and qualified. They have a very good knowledge of subject and skills. They are ready at any time to clarify doubts of students. This course curriculum is relevant. Teaching quality is at a high level, but students should have an interest.
Other: I have chosen this course at this college because I got a seat here. I also have skills and interest in this course.

Nice faculty, average infrastructure, and a good future.
Placements: As of now, the intake of GDC and H is 100%. The faculty are excellent when it comes to teaching and discipline. All students get the internship once the four years are completed. Once we finish the course, we can get placements in different hospitals as well as government jobs. We can also opt to go abroad to do MDS. Senior resident placements are also available.
Infrastructure: The college has a library, an auditorium, a PCP lab, and an OP. The classroom has a projector facility. The hostel is a three-story building. The rooms accommodate 2–3 students. The food is of average taste, and there are cooling water and fridge facilities.
Faculty: The faculty are highly qualified. The professors as well as the senior residents teach with decorum. It was a five-year course until the class of 2022. The students get prepared to take care of the patients in the best way possible. The outpatient is also nice.

One of the best dental colleges in India.
Placements: We will not have any placements in dental colleges but the value of the certificate carries its importance in any part of the world.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped and we have a vast tennis court where we are trained and also many sports. Library provides us with many books regarding dental education. Practical classes are conducted in both dental colleges and also Osmania medical College where students are taught both MBBS and BDS subjects.
Faculty: Teachers here are well experienced and are highly qualified doctors working in the same hospital. Dental exams are yearly and not in semester pattern. Course duration is for 5 years out of which the first 4 years are theoretical and the final year is an internship where you work in the clinic and get paid for it by government.
