Dentistry students can earn lots of money.
Placements: From the 100 student batch, about 72% of students passed in the first attempt, so they get a job as dental surgeons assistance at a private clinic with an average salary of Rs. 21,000 per month. Some students earn up to Rs. 35,000 per month based on their clinic knowledge. After completion of graduation, you get a chance of giving the exam for a government job with a monthly salary of Rs. 75,000, but there are limited seats only as there is high competition. Various high-level companies like Tata and Reliance also recruit dental surgeons for their employees with a salary package of approximately 5 LPA, but there is high competition with limited seats, so there is a good scope.
Infrastructure: There are 100 rooms each in both boys and girls hostel with general bathroom and washroom. In the hostel, there is good cleanliness with adequate cleaning every weekend. Security is a problem sometimes, and a security guard is not at duty, and the outside person enters the hostel at night time. There is no canteen on the campus, and only a small shop is available. During the exams, when we are awake for the whole night for reading, we need to go outside to take snacks. Otherwise, the hostel is good with no problems with electricity cut-offs and water supply. CCCTV cameras are available at all corners. In the college, the library is on the third floor with about 4,000 books related to dental courses and general knowledge. There are 8 computers with a good Wi-Fi facility. All the newspapers are available in the library. There are two reading rooms on the ground floor with chairs.
Faculty: All the teachers passed tough exams of KPSC, so their theoretical and practical knowledge is good. Sometimes difficult clinic cases are discussed by teachers with a student after completion of classes. The teaching pattern is good, and they provide all the clinical cases after theoretical classes, so you understand things well. Semester exams are tough, and we get 100 marks paper for each subject with viva. The exam pattern, teaching skills and practical knowledge prepare you best for industry and market to open the clinic, earn good money and respect.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to become a doctor with some good earnings. My many relatives are dentists, and they have good earning with respect of doctors, but they all are passed from government dental colleges with good basic practice at an internship in college. Our college conducts 2 parties every year, one on 31st December given by newcomers to all college students and doctors and one at September that is farewell given by final year students. There is a huge celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi. There is a sports week every summer with indoor games of table tennis, carrom, badminton, etc., that we enjoy a lot.

It is one of the best colleges in India.
Placements: It is a professional course. Our college doesn't provide placements. We can open a clinic. However, GDCRI passed-out students have been employed in various places. Additionally, after completing their fourth year, they must complete a one-year paid internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides good facilities. We have a digital library and preclinical labs. Classrooms are not very good. The hostel is good. The food served in the hostel is good. They serve vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items.
Faculty: Our teachers are good and helpful. They are mentors. The teaching quality is up to the mark. Exams are moderate.
Other: Every year, the school holds sports and cultural weeks with many events. Students have access to the badminton court. Classrooms can be improved.
