The college is good if you want to take a college in Uttarakhand.
Placements: It is the top government college in Uttarakhand, so its degree holds quite a value. And of course, the hospital has a good footfall, so the internship also teaches a lot. A number of rankers in INI CET and NEET PG were from our college, so it is okay.
Infrastructure: The campus isn't too big, but it is sufficient. All the departments have adequate space. Centralized AC, library with free Wi-Fi, canteen, and a decent gym are available. The only problem is that the ground is a bit small, but our teams often get trophies from other colleges as well.
Faculty: We have good faculty ranging from those who secured AIR-7 in NEET PG to M.Sc. faculty, but all are knowledgeable. As usual, there are all kinds of faculty members, from very brilliant to those whom you cannot talk to, but the PG residents are very helpful.
Other: The college isn't too far from the main city, so that is quite a relief.

Our college is very good.
Placements: We have to find jobs on our own after completing MBBS.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is new. The hostel building is well-developed. The hostel provides good facilities. The food served in the hostel is not up to the mark but edible. Our college has a sports committee. It conducts sports competitions from time to time. The campus is not huge. Our college has a huge library.
Faculty: First-year teachers are quite helpful and good. Our college is strict regarding classes, attendance, and exams. Exams are held from time to time. Some departments do not have teachers.
Other: It is a new medical college in Uttarakhand. Our seniors got good ranks in NEET and PG exams. Our college conducts cultural and sports fests. Our college is developing. The campus should be big. The hospital is near our college. I would recommend joining this college.

Review of Government Doon Medical College, Dehradun.
Placements: There is no campus placement as such. Once the course is completed, one can work either in a government hospital or in a private hospital. After the completion of the 8th semester, there is a mandatory internship of 1 year in which a stipend of around 17,000 is paid.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very well developed. The condition of the hostel rooms is also very good. The food served at the mess is quite average in taste. There is availability of the library and other facilities like sports, gym, etc. in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified and helpful. The faculty is very approachable. Throughout the year, various exams are held in the college, which helps the students prepare for the university professional exams. The exams are quite tough to pass, which helps the students to be prepared for difficult competition.
Other: Every year the sports and cultural fest is held in the college in the months of October-November. Apart from the fest, various sports leagues are also held in the college throughout the year.

Everything about GDMC : course, placement, college life and hostel life.
Placements: The placement is directly in the Doon Hospital after the internship, or you can apply to any other hospital of your choice. Package after MBBS starts from INR 60,000 to >INR 100000 per month. Recruiting hospitals include the local private and government hospitals in Dehradun. Nearly 90% of students got internships at the Doon Hospital.
Infrastructure: As the college is newly built, it includes the latest technology and facilities like Wi-Fi, a projector, new lab instruments, a library, etc. The quality of hostel rooms and mess food is pretty decent to great, according to a government college. The food in the canteen is also great and up to par. The medical facilities are also great, as it is a medical college. There is a college ground for sports activities like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, etc. And indoor activities like table tennis, etc. are available.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and solve every doubt that you might have during your studies. Each teacher is qualified for teaching and has great knowledge in their respective subjects. Yes, the course is completely relevant to the curriculum and makes the student completely ready to be a great doctor. The semester exams are of a moderate level, so a student with a medium level of knowledge can also pass the exam. The pass percentage is 50%, combining both theory and practise.
Other: I chose this course because I guess it's the only one that gives you inner satisfaction after treating a patient and is worth studying for 5.5 years because it makes you a person that can save people's lives. I guess the timing for college, i.e., 9 to  5, could be improved so that the course becomes less hectic for the students. Each year the college organises a fest known as Fornix, which lasts for a week and is the only time of year in which each and every student enjoys college life to the fullest by participating in various events like dance, singing, sports, cultural, etc. And at last, the DJ night, which is the best part of this event,
