Round-2 counselling result for Uttarakhand NEET counselling 2024 was announced on September 27, 2024. The seat allotment result was uploaded online in PDF format by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU). Candidates acn download teh result from the official website, hnbumu.ac.in. A direct link has been provided below to download the counselling result for Uttarakhand NEET 2024 round-2 counselling. Those allotted seats in round-2 Uttarakahnd NEET 2024 will have to report physically for documents verification. The reporting deadline was October 5, 2024. 

Registration and choice filling for round-2 Uttarakhand NEET counselling 2024 started on September 11, 2024. Candidates had to register for round-2 counselling till September 23, 2024 at official website, hnbumu.ac.in. 

Candidates have to register and fill application form for Uttarakhand MBBS admission 2024. They also have to pay registration and security fees for counselling. It must be noted qualifying NEET 2024 is mandatory to participate in the counselling rounds. The counselling is held online for admission to MBBS/BDS courses across medical colleges in the state.

Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) conducts Uttarakhand NEET counselling for seat allotment. Qualifying NEET 2024 with the minimum cutoff is mandatory requirement to participate in the counselling process. Candidates will be provided admission in MBBS/BDS courses in Uttarakhand medical colleges on the basis of marks obtained in NEET 2024. Both state quota seats and All India-Management quota seats will be filled through the counselling of Uttarakhand NEET 2024.

The whole process of counselling for admission to MBBS/BDS courses offered by the Government/Private Medical/Dental colleges of Uttarakhand will be held in online mode. HNBUMU will conduct a total of three rounds of counselling including a mop-up round to fill 85% state quota and 100% private colleges seats. A total of 825 MBBS seats and 300 BDS seats will be filled through Uttarakhand NEET 2024 counselling.  

Seats left vacant after the first round of Uttarakhand NEET 2024 counselling will be filled in the second round. Also, candidates can upgrade the seat allocated to them in the first round in the second round. The mop-up round of counselling will be held only if any seats are left vacant after the conclusion of the second round.

Uttarakhand NEET 2024 Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of Uttarakhand NEET 2024 need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria

  • They must be a citizen of India
  • They must have cleared NEET 2024
  • They must be a domicile of Uttarakhand State

Candidates who are not a domicile of Uttarakhand but have passed both Class 10 and Class 12 from a recognised institute in Uttarakhand are also eligible to apply for Uttarakhand NEET 2024 counselling. However, such candidates cannot apply for reservations under the reserved category.

Step 1: Register and pay the counselling fee for Uttarakhand NEET 2024

Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of Uttarakhand NEET 2024 have to register on the official portal of HNBUMU. This is a one-time process only. Candidates who register for the first round do not need to register for the second/mop-up round.

List of documents required during the registration for Uttarakhand NEET 2024 counselling

  1. Birth Certificate or marksheet of Class 10
  2. Passing certificate of Class 12
  3. Class 12 marksheets
  4. NEET Admit Card 2024
  5. NEET Result 2024 (rank letter)
  6. Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  7. Disability certificate issued by the Special Medical Board constituted by the Director-General (if applicable)
  8. Children of Kashmiri Migrants need to submit necessary proofs 
  9. Domicile Certificate (For Uttarakhand domicile candidate only)
  10. Valid, no-expired and authentic photo ID proof (Aadhaar card/Passport/PAN card/Driving License)

  • Go to the official website – hnbumuexams.com
  • Click on ‘New Registration’
  • Read the declaration, accept it and proceed
  • Enter mobile number, NEET roll number and application number
  • Enter captcha and submit
  • Pay the Uttarakhand NEET 2024 registration fee

To complete the registration process, candidate needs to pay a non-refundable counselling/registration fee. Uttarakhand NEET counselling fee has to be paid online. Candidate can pay this fee using a credit card/debit card/net banking.

Step 2: Update Date/Upload Documents

Candidates now need to complete the application form by entering the following information:

  • Personal details and upload relevant documents
  • Contact details
  • Qualifying examination details
  • College/course type details
  • Refund entry details
  • Upload NEET 2024 admit card and score card
  • Upload photograph and signature
  • Check the details before submitting the form

Step 3: Pay Security Money

Candidate also has to deposit the security money during the registration process. The security money will be refunded to the candidate in case of non-allotment of seat during the counselling of Uttarakhand NEET.

Security money can be paid online using a credit card/debit card/net banking. Candidate must retain the payment confirmation for future use.

After completion of this stage, candidates can log out of the registration window. He/she will have to wait for the state merit list to complete ‘Step 4’ of the registration process.

Uttarakhand NEET 2024 State Merit List

HNBUMU will prepare a merit list of all the candidates who have registered for the counselling of Uttarakhand NEET 2024. The state merit list will be uploaded online on the official website of the institute. This list will be prepared based on the marks and ranks obtained in NEET 2024.

Step 4: Choice filling

Candidate can now proceed to the fourth step of registration. He/she needs to login into the registered account on the official website of HNBUMU. Select from among the course/college options given, in decreasing order of preference. Check the options carefully before submitting them.

Step 5: Print the registration page

After completing the registration form, candidates need to print the registration page and the choices filled. This must be preserved until the admission process is over.

Seat allotment list

HNBUMU will release the result of Uttarakhand NEET 2024 in the form of a seat allotment list. The seat allotment list will be prepared on the basis of the state merit list and the choices filled by the candidates. They will now have the option to accept/reject the seat allocated to them. Candidates who do not wish to continue with the seat allotted to them can participate in the second round of counselling.

Those who wish to continue with the seat allocated to them need to report to the respective institute for verification of the documents and confirmation of their admission. However, they can still opt for up-gradation and participate in the second round of Uttarakhand NEET counselling 2024.
