The highest salary package is from on-campus, but some of them get a high package from off-campus interviews as well.

One of the good Government Engineering Colleges in Gujarat if you want to opt for BE in Gujarat.
Placements: There are various companies that come to college for placement, and if they find you capable enough, you get selected for that company. You have to study and improve your knowledge, and that is how you can easily crack the interview and all the tests conducted by that company.
Infrastructure: The labs are well-equipped with the basic facilities you need for the learning process. All the technical equipment that we need during our learning is available in the labs, and the faculty has good knowledge about them and handling them. Good facilities overall.
Faculty: The faculty is very supportive, and the course is relevant. Exams are easy to pass, and you can score good marks. The level of questions asked in the exam is not that high, so there is no need to worry about getting failed. Just work hard and study, and exams will not be any concern for you.

IT has good infrastructure as well as good and highly qualified professors.
Placements: Many recruiters come to the placement in the college. The average placement of this college is 70%. Companies like Tata, Reliance, Infosys, TCS, Tavasoft, and many more big organizations come for the placement, and students with high demand are selected on an average package.
Infrastructure: The college has a Wi-Fi network. It has its own hostel with better facilities. There are sports activities as well. The infrastructure of the college is so good. The college area is well developed, and many varieties of items for food and requirements are available.
Faculty: The faculty here are highly qualified, and their teaching skills are too good. The faculty mainly focuses on the practical implementation of the programs and the concept behind the work. They help each and every student with their problems and help them to solve the problem.
Other: The Information Technology and Computer Science branch is good here.

It is a good college for engineering.
Placements: The highest salary package offered in college is 14 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 3-5 LPA. Top companies recruit students from courses like computer engineering, information technology engineering, and mechanical engineering. A top role is offered in the computer engineering course.
Infrastructure: In GEC Bhavnagar infrastructure is good and all buildings are the same. In all the buildings, Wi-Fi is available, but the network is bad. Classrooms are good. The library is big and peaceful with many chairs, tables, newspapers, boards, and a book table. The hostel room is good but some rooms are not working. Fans are not working, but some are working. Hostel cleaning is good.
Faculty: Teachers in the GEC Bhavnagar are well-experienced. Teachers come from Bangalore to teach in GEC Bhavnagar. All teachers always help the students when they face any difficulty. Teachers conduct the exam based on GTU. The mid-semester exam is either for 30 marks or 20 marks. Viva and assignment submission is of 10 marks, and it is mostly used by all the teachers.

Life of students who choose GEC.
Placements: Our course is only available in GEC, Bhavnagar. Our course can be identified as a mixture of IT (information and technology) and communication which makes the name Information and Communication Technology. This course is for the span of four years.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a wide range of facilities from libraries to reading rooms, computer labs, and specified laboratories for different technologies. Hostel facilities are also good which makes a good environment to study for students which results in good experience.
Faculty: Teachers play a very crucial role in the success of any student. In this case, there are good faculty members on our campus which helps students in finding their path of life which also helps in the successful career development of students. This course has many subjects.

My College Life College sucks
Placements: Frontend Developer, Backend Developer, Full Stack developer, Business analytics, Jobs on basis of DSA, Web Development, App Developer, Companies Like Tatwa Soft, And so on are the roles offered. 100% placement are there as dozens of companies come until every student is placed.
Infrastructure: Hostel is 10/30. Hostel food facilities are stopped since last one and half year due to tender is not being passed even after so many complains. We don't have beds to sleep, We sleep on mattress by spreading on ground. Hoping things will get good soon.
Faculty: Teachers are genuinely good and supportive. They guide us whenever we need. I don't think course curriculum is relevant 100%. It's on us if we want to get industry ready, we have to develop skills by our own. Exams are not that difficult. As per my experience, we can clear exams even if we study 2-3 days before exam.

Stunning yet holdback drive, Great campus, yet dissatisfied Institutional management.
Placements: This college offers a wide range of good professors who are well-read and professionals in life, but however, it being a government college, it lacks the exposure and a good reputation. The placements in the Electronics and Communication branch are nearly 60 percent, but on-campus placement is nearly 6 percent. There are referrals from various companies that help you in onboarding.
Infrastructure: Being one of the youngest government engineering colleges, this college has fresh architecture with regular maintenance and great facilities. You have very good quality equipment in each and every lab. Each and every technical equipment is maintained every quarter. However, there is no canteen due to some quotation issues, and Wi-Fi availability is also decent.
Faculty: It follows the standard GTU pattern, and each and every professor is quite a catch in their respective field, and they are very much dedicated to teaching every student. However, they lack a bit of language barrier as students from other states find it difficult to understand certain topics. Also, syllabus coverage for every exam is nearly 65 percent. The rest, you are on your own.
Other: Campus life is one of the most essential parts of your college. This college is very happening, with various clubs (total 14) active in various fields like art, media house, sports, and adventurous trekking. My course, Electronics and Communication, is a very provoking and interesting course. You will have all the necessary knowledge if you study in this college.
