Our college has helpful and supportive surrounding. Not only seniors but also faculty are helpful.

Placements: We heard from seniors that placements are good in the last year, but packages offered are not that good. Our college organises employment skills development class for the students to improve the placements rate. Also, training programmes are held to improvise skills. Our college sends students for the internships in IITs and NITs.

A good government aided college with a well-trained and supportive group of faculty members.

Placements: Placements in our college are good, but companies that visit our college offer very low salary packages. Our college is least bothered about whether the students are getting placed or not. Some reputed companies like TCS, Mahindra, and Honda visit our college to hire students, and they offered the highest packages for some students, and it was around 11 LPA. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA.

This college is a good college.

Placements: My batch was not so lucky regarding placements. However, the placement rate is quite good for the previous batches. Seniors were offered very good placement opportunities in different trusted companies. I don't exactly know about the current situations, but I have heard that it is now under TEQUIP, so definitely, they are working hard to achieve that reputation again.

It's a good government aided engineering college with lots of development resources.

Placements: The college is average in case of placements. It's not that we don't get higher packages, but companies aren't coming to our college from the last two years. But this year AMCAT exam was conducted for the third and fourth-year students which was funded by the college itself. Many seniors got placed, although it was a pool-campus drive, they still received good packages.

In short, it's a good government college trying to regain it's place in the rankings.

Placements: We heard about a lot of seniors getting placed the year we got admitted in college, but after that, the graph started falling down. Finally, we heard of few placements this year, but that was because of pool placements. Although, after looking at the ratios, our training and placement cell is working hard to regain the graph into acceleration. But still, looking at the past years' scenario, we aren't that satisfied with the placements.

Absolutely dissatisfied due to placements and faculty behaviour.

Placements: Placement conditions was very bad and placement office was even more discouraging. They were instead of calling the companies to campus, sending them to other campus just because they do not have to do any hospitality for them. Almost all of the students got placed off campus based on their own efforts. No efforts of college.

Government Engineering College (ECB, Bikaner) provides quality education.

Placements: The college provides good placement opportunities. The college has tie-ups with reputed companies like Cairn Oil and Gas, Honda, Muthoot Finance and many others. The average package offered is about 7 lakhs per annum. In the present scenario, the college is facing an acute shortage of placements because of many reasons, but the most important point is the students are not serious about studies. Hence, the students don't have the knowledge and skills required to face the real world.

Dissatisfied because the placements of the college are not good.

Placements: The placements of our college are not that good. I am a 3rd-year student at our college. Some companies come to the college campus and provide few placements, and about 8% of the total students from the 4th-year got placements. Many students cannot achieve placements, and in that way, the placements of our college are not good.

Not good for admission as the return on investment is mostly zero.

Placements: Placement situation is very bad. All major companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro have stopped coming to college. Cairn Energy recruits for mechanical, electrical, and civil. The average package offered is 6.2 LPA. Other than that small it firms visit and they offer around 10-15k per month with a bond of 2 years generally.

Placements: It's fine but I have not experienced it But I have got ideas from seniors that 2 to 3 companies come to college and placement take place but the quantity of students is very few Placement are few in all the branches electrical mechanical civil and computer Science engineering The last year the highest package was 900000 to a CS student.

It is a good college if you need good exposure.

Placements: I can't say about placements in my college as I am in 2nd year, but from my senior batch, very low percentage of the students got placed in various companies. Very small number of companies visit the college for placements, you just have to try for off-campus drives for a better salary and job.

Overall, it is good among other government colleges. In 2018, BTU will take over both colleges.

Placements: The job fair is held every year in the society of engineering college, Bikaner. Around 10 to 20 student are placed every year in low-level companies, and 2 or 3 are placed in good companies. Most of the students go to other government colleges for placements. Colleges and job fair of companies. One of the students also got placed in China. He is not placed through the college, and he went outside for the interview. Only a few second or third class companies visit the college job fair.

College is raising its standard.

Placements: This college has now become university and so the scenario here is changing drastically and unlike past now many good and big MNC are coming here to provide placement facility. Now it is up to the student how they can impress them with their skill. Though college still lacks academic performance and students are not taught much skills to tackle these tricky interviewers. So good student with some skill under his belt can grab a package of minimum 6-7 LPA. Some top companies visiting here are ama...

ECB, Bikaner on one site review.

Placements: The placements are not good as expected. Only a few companies visited our college for campus placements, and they are not hiring any computer science student. The placement percentage is 34-40% of the total students who attended the exam. The companies visited our campus are Adani Group, Tata Consultancy Services, etc.

The best college for an engineering student.

Placements: The placements in our college are good. Students opt to work in the government sector or prepare for civil services. The students who pass all the exams conducted during placements are selected. The remaining students prepare for GATE exam to pursue higher studies like M.Tech, MBA, etc.

Average college, if you want to do something different in our life, don't take admission here.

Placements: The college has best placements. The average package varies between 3 to 4 lacs per annum. Only 3 to 5 students were placed from the whole batch of about 90 students. The highest package offered over all the branches is 28 LPA, but it was on off-campus in 2017, for the mechanical branch. Computer science branch has almost 20 LPA as the highest package. Many international and national companies like TCS, Infosys, Shyam computerised, Mahindra, etc. visit the campus. Students who have a CGP above 6...

Placements: In short don't hope for placement here. Civil have strength 63 in each year. So I think 1 or 2 person gets selected in company. But here company also don't come. Rarely they come but take other branches like Mechanical, electronics and computer Science. The companies which comes gives poor placement. So it's worthless to go with that company So overall No placement is there for civil. If you will ask any senior for placement in civil, they will make joke of you So the only option is to crack GAT...

College which one takes when options runs up.

Placements: Okay the placements are good here but offer very less in terms of package. The college is also very least bothered whether the students are getting placed or not so it as not the good option if you want a good job as soon as you complete your graduation. Only mass recruiter will come no big MNC will come for interviews. Average package offered is 2 to 2.5 l. a.
