Absolutely disappointed because of college life in Wayanad.

Placements: This college has a good placement record. Almost all the students from our senior batch got placed in many companies including Wipro, Spider, etc. In our branch, most students got a chance to do an internship at BSNL Delhi, which helped them improve their skills.

The mechanical engineering program received NBA accreditation this year, providing more placement.

Placements: This year, the mechanical department got accredited, and placements have increased. Our students got placed in Tata Elxsi and Easa Al-Guru Groups. Many students secured positions despite their poor performance in academics, and there are still a number of supplementary exams ongoing.

The place beyond the hills.

Placements: Only a small percentage of students are placed from our college. I think the highest placement package is 18 LPA and the lowest is less than 1 LPA. Wipro is the top recruiting company in our college. A high percentage of students get internships in many companies.

Review of Government Engineering College, Wayanad.

Placements: You can apply for placement from the 3rd year onwards. It can be an on-campus or off-campus placement. Companies like QBurst, QSpider, TCS, etc. are some of the major companies that come for placement. An average package of 5 lacs per year is provided by the companies.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of some faculty.

Placements: About 40–50% of students were placed last year, but they are not very big companies or anything; there are not that many top recruitment companies for our course at our college, but several small companies recruit some students. There are several roles offered in our course, and they are all great.

The life of GEC, which I had to go through for 4 years.

Placements: In our country, the basic package is very poor in this college, starting at 2.5 LPA, and some lucky people will get up to 8 or 9 LPA. Overall, it's bad, and most companies are startups or small-time companies. The internship opportunities are also very bad and rare. Basically, if you want a job, you will have to look for it for a long time in this college.

I am satisfied with good infrastructure, helpful and friendly staff, and good placements.

Placements: Placements are a little low for mechanical and electrical students in our college. Startups and Bangalore-based companies like Spider recruit students. Placement cell is improving although placements were comparatively less the previous year. CSE students don't face placement issues very much.

Improving placement percentage, the perfect place to study and enjoy at the same time.

Placements: Don't know much about placements since I'm in the first year. Placements are low. Seniors say that placements are only there for ECE and CSE departments. Seniors graduating this year got into a Bangalore-based start-up company called Spider. Placement cell and all is improving this year.

I am satisfied with this college. It is really good.

Placements: Almost 40% of students were placed in different companies, namely Tata Elxsi, QSpiders, Inmakes infotech and Honors automation, with up to 3.5 LPA. These placements are obtained through on-campus and off-campus placements. Some of the companies offered internships for students. As soon as possible, I was offered a training programme for Python.

Placements: In our batch, more than 50 students were placed. In our department, 12 students got placed. There are more placements in computer science engineering. The college placement cell provides skill training for placement assessment. Companies like Horner Automation, Infosys, Tata Elxsi, etc., are the top recruiters.

I was absolutely satisfied with the college and enjoyed the college life.

Placements: In our course, none of the students were placed and so no salary packages were provided. There were no companies to recruit students and also no internship was provided. Students completed their internships from outside sources. Major engineering roles such as system engineer and design engineer were offered in our course.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, but in case of infrastructure, it is an average college.

Placements: No companies arrived here for giving placements in mechanical department and college authority pays no attention to this trivial matter. After studying here, students themselves had to find jobs that means very less probability of getting good company .

Dissatisfied because of the administration and faculty.

Placements: To be honest, None of the students got placed via campus placement. The students who got placed are those who applied for off campus drives for IT companies like TCS and Infosys. From a class of 63, 3 students ended up working in the Electrical engineering sector and that too bu their own effort. There was no placement drives conducted by the College for our course. When in comes to internships, it is mandatory for all students to do at least one internship which all students attended via paid ...
