You will get a quality education at a low price.

Placements: From our batch, about 3 students were selected in Adani industry for a junior engineer position. In the previous year, there were no placements, and this is the main disadvantage to study in such a government college. However, Adani and Gokul industry hired 30 students as intern engineers.

Absolutely GEC Patan is very much good for engineering.

Placements: This institute provides good placements, and it also provides training. Siemens provides many courses in designing and modelling for skill development.

Good for study with good faculty.

Placements: Being government college the infrastructure is quite good. Department are enabled with Wi-Fi. The provision of Wi-Fi all over is under process. Class room are very good, and the labs are also fine. The college includes different workshop likes foundry, siemens labs, fluid mechanics, hydraulic machine etc. All classroom are smart class and well suited for educational environment.

All are good, but the placement services available in our college are less.

Placements: GEC Patan is very good for mechanical engineering. Students of the mechanical branch have visited many industries, and students improve their skills.

Not so good...........................

Placements: Teachers in our college are very much helpful well-knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, teaching quality is average. I think the course curriculum is relevant for us, and it will help us to be industry-ready. It will also help us to apply for new jobs in future. Mechanical department is really good. Placements. 1. 95% of the total students are placed in different companies this year. The highest salary offered was 15 Lacs. The lowest salary is 8 Lacs. Average salary is about 9 Lacs. 3. Our college has a good environment.

Placements: About 80% of the students got placed from our college. The highest salary offered to students is 1lac per month, while the median salary offered is Rs. 40,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Siemens is the most recruiting company for our course. If electrical engineer students complete masters, then they become a professor. Mostly 60% of the students got internships.

It is a good college, but the campus is not good.

Placements: The college has good placements record. Companies like TCS, Eagle Infra, Wipro, etc., visit the college for placement. Students get pre-placement training so that they don't have to face the problem. Placements are good, and it totally depends on students skills. Students can easily get the placement if they have a good academic record because, without knowledge, no company is going to recruit.

review of Government Engineering College, Patan.

Placements: Placements are very good here. Very good MNC companies visited our campus in our batch, and also success rate was also good in our campus. My all friends and I got placed in campus placements. The placement process is also good and easy for everyone to follow. The college invites other colleges students to participate in campus interviews.

The college has a good learning environment, but I'm dissatisfied because of faculty and placement.

Placements: I didn't get placed on the campus because no company visited our college for placements. We got jobs on ourselves. After the completion of my B.E, I learned a job oriented course PLC-Scada. I got a job after learning that. But other colleges include this course in the B.E programme.

I do not suggest you to join this college if you have any other better option.

Placements: GEC, Patan has a placement cell. Around 70% to 80% of the students got selected in well-reputed companies like Wipro, TCS, Teksun Microsys and TatvaSoft with an average package of Rs. 2.5 to 2.7 LPA in 2019. The college has taken the great initiative of providing internships for 3rd and 4th-year students to meet the industrial requirement, which is appreciated. The stipend offered to the interns is Rs. 2,000 per month to Rs. 4,000 per month on an average.

Satisfied with the college faculty and the education.

Placements: We do not have the placement facilities like other colleges when we are studying. There are no placements in our college. Maybe 1 or 2 companies visit our college to take an interview. Only one of our classmates got the job in it. Our college provides many details of a new job opening.

According to me, my department is good and very helpful.

Placements: Placements in my department were very good. In 2018, seven to ten companies visited the college to offer placements. Mostly, the students opt campus placements to have a future because it is very difficult for a fresher to get a job outside the college.

Very much satisfied with the college infrastructure and professors.

Placements: TCS, Infotech, Einfochips and many other such companies from all over India have come for placements. Many students have been placed, and due to this our college is ranked in a higher position. Now our college is beating other self-financed universities, so students should take admission here.

Infrastructure of the college is awesome. Faculty are also helpful.

Placements: No placements were conducted for the students of our batch as well as our senior batch. Faculty are the best, and they try to bring the best companies for placements. But, as Patan is a rural area, placements for mechanical students is not much good. So, the chances of getting a job through placements are low.

An awesome college in nature's lap.

Placements: There are more placement chances for mechanical and civil branches, and it depends on the training and placement officer. Last year, a group of companies were called for placement in the civil department. They picked up some students who are interested to attend the interviews.

Gec dahod has good faculties and education , placement is growing, good infrastructure facilities.

Placements: Various companies from Baroda, Nagpur come here for placement It is better than earlier. Growing number of recruiters Various financial companies have also came. It is all over growing. We have different companies joining every year. If you have talent you will be placed in the campus itself. Various tranning regarding interview, resume building and other training are given by the faculty members. Now placement cell has become active. I think the new batches joining will have good placement.

Average Government College.

Placements: As far as Placements are concerned GEC Patan takes initiatives regarding it but not an effective step. Heavy Companies are not approaching but yes they do send their students for Off Campus. Students are very ambitious for getting job but not getting placed through campus makes their brain- drain.

Good placements in 2017.

Placements: Nowadays we get very good and healthy companies in placement most of our batch student selected in placement and they started interning and working with them. Thanks to out TPO (Training and Placement Officer) and our facility they bring such a best companies for placement. The percentage of getting placement to about 50-60% and the stipend they offered is about 10k-16k approximately monthly after completing their training.

Satisfied with our faculty, infrastructure and sports opportunities.

Placements: In our college, the placement facilities are not good enough. Every year only a few companies come to our college, but nowadays our college staff is working on the placement opportunities for us. Students are really satisfied by this approach from the college staff.

My college is the best college compared to all government college, good in sports and placements.

Placements: In our college, the placements are available for the last year students. Last year, in a big company, nine students were selected with the maximum salary. The computer software development, gear development company, and other big infrastructure companies came to the campus for the placements. In this college, always the students will wait for the college placements.
