The college is good only for the fee but not for placements.

Placements: There are no placements at our college because of a lack of companies. Students don't get placed in our college, and they have to find placements on their own. Still, some job fairs are conducted by our college where we can get placed in good companies. Otherwise, you have to find it on your own.

It has a great campus. I would recommend others to take admission in it.

Placements: Mostly 70% of students are placed in our course, and most renowned companies take part in our campus. Many roles are offered in our college like a leadership role, entrepreneur role, and much more because students have many elective subjects like this from which students know most of the things.

I am dissatisfied because of the faculty members and average placement in the year 2021.

Placements: Placements in our college are average, but not much good. About 50% of students from our course get placed in the college. Companies from the Vapi industrial area and Surat industrial area hired students from our college.

Review of Government Engineering College, Valsad.

Placements: In chemical engineering, there are nearly 150 seats, but the academic percentage criterion is high. Students must have nearly above 80% of marks in the board and GUJCET exam. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4.50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Tata, TCS Ninja, Accenture, Kiwi Miles, etc., companies visit our campus for placements. Many highly-reputed companies recruit students from our college.

The infrastructure of the college is new and good. Faculty members are good.

Placements: More than 50 companies visit our college for placements. Reputed companies are willing to give jobs of final year and pass out students. There is also a job fair organised by a college to help pass out students as well as nearby people.

The institute is good, and the fee is very affordable.

Placements: Companies such as Reliance, Torrecid and Saint Gobain visit here for campus placements. But very few students or around 4-5 students got placed from our batch. The salary package offered varies from 1.4 LPA to 1.8 LPA. Internships are optional, and our college does not offer internships. Most of the students get placed in the production department or as an apprentice.

Our college has the best faculty members, less placement, but placements are increases with time.

Placements: Our college does not provide placement or internship in the mechanical engineering course. Although, lately some recruiters have started offering placements to 10-15 students from each batch and the number of recruiters seems to be increasing with time.

Government Engineering College, Valsad is the best college among all the government colleges in GTU.

Placements: Around 5% to 10% of the students get placed whenever a placement program is organised in the college. We cannot expect much placements from government colleges. But I hope they would be good in future. Even private colleges are not providing many placements so, it is better you opt for a government college as it charges a low fee. The teaching skills of the faculty members of a government, colleges are far better than private colleges.

Our college is the best in the field of studies and extra co-curricular activities.

Placements: From my point of view, the placement percentage of a college is not required because if a student is qualified, he can be placed anywhere. Our college makes students highly qualified. No more companies are visiting our college for recruitment, but capable students of the college are getting selected in companies at a good position with better salary packages offered.
