The latest and honest review of the college.
Placements: Placement is not in good numbers. 75 students got placed in the Computer Science and BCA groups. The package was average. I am a scholarship student, so I don't need to pay any fees here. Computer Science students and BCA students only get placed. The package is average.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are amazing. Smart classrooms are available, and departments for every course are there. The canteen is available. Greenery is everywhere, and there are many gardens. There is no hostel for girls; the hostel is available only for boys. Our college is NAAC verified with an A grade.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and educated. Exams are taken semester-wise. It's an autonomous college, and exams are not that tough. Apart from theory subjects, vocational subjects are also there. Practical labs are available with a good number of computers.
Other: Cultural fests happen, competitions happen, games and everything is good.

    Good faculty, developing infrastructure.
Placements: In particular, the specialization in biotech recruits around 500 students from this college, with companies like Sun Pharma, Cipla, and Wipro hiring students for placement. The college is spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with modern teaching aids like smart boards, projectors, and audio-visual systems.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. Mess food is really good in quality. But hostels are only available for freshers or 1st-year students and are available in emergencies. Many hostels also have gym facilities and space for outdoor sports to promote a balanced lifestyle. Good hostel facilities ensure a secure, comfortable, and enriching experience, enabling students to focus on their studies and personal development.
Faculty: Faculty are very helpful in every situation and really good at teaching, with great knowledge in their subjects, always guiding students. Exams are conducted under strict supervision to prevent malpractice. Students are given clear guidelines on exam protocols and academic integrity. Results & Feedback: Timely results are provided, and some colleges offer detailed feedback to help students improve. Re-evaluation and supplementary exams may be available for those needing to retake courses.
Other: The college is best for research, sports, and extracurricular activities like NCC and NSS.

Good College, course but not placements.
Placements: No placements were done from by batch, any companies came. Our college do provided internship on own. This internship can have maximum 60 students. Though Internship were compulsory in final, students can do on their own from outside companies. No company for placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was not that good before at our session time, but it is developing day by day and now it is way better than before. Course curriculum was quite good and knowledgeable. I didn't stayed in hostel as their is no girls hostel of Holkar college.
Faculty: Faculty members were very friendly and of helping nature. They always tried to our solve problems. We had yearly pattern of exams but they have semester pattern of exams. Exams were of moderate level, it all depends on you and your hardwork. 33% is the passing percentage.
Other: I chose this course out of interest. They need more practical exposure. No events or fests were organised.

This is the top government college of Madhya Pradesh, and it is a NAAC A++ grade college.
Placements: Placements are good in my college after the college got NAAC A++ grading. There are 70% chances of placements by the college. From this year, some multinational companies offer placements to final-year students, and many students got placed in these companies.
Infrastructure: They provide a hostel on the college campus. Hostel life is very great for me; the hostel mess is good, and hostel students get more priority than regular college students. The infrastructure of the hostel is old, and they should repair the hostel every year according to its current state.
Faculty: Faculty is good, and they are friendly with students. Teachers are knowledgeable, and they teach us like friends. Their teaching technique includes examples from daily life. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate.
Other: There is a variety of courses we have: Biotechnology, Forensic Science, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, BCA, Fisheries, etc. The campus crowd is good. They should improve their scholarship timing because many students receive their scholarships very late.

Honest description of Holkar science college.
Placements: 75% of students were placed in my college. The highest package offered in my course is 150000. And the lowest package is 20000 and the average package is 50000 - 70000. Top recruiting companies for my course is biocon ltd. And jubilant life science. 80% of students got internship from my course. Top roles offered in my course are scientists, biomedical engineer, product manager, biostatistician .
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for my course are smart classrooms, well educated faculties, labs, equipments, library for books and e-library also included. The quality of facilities in my college hostel are average..the quality of food is also not very good but it is not bad also. Medical facilities are very welll managed. Well prepared doctor's and staff and medicines are available. My college support games tournaments like basketball, volleyball, tannis, cricket, badminton and all.. And NCC and NSS are also there.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well qualified and very knowledgeable. There teaching quality is also nice . they are kind and ready for help us in anything needed. Course curriculum is quite relevant and helpful .it makes the students industry ready because it also gives knowledge of students about that by industry visit and practicals. Semester exams are not that difficult if we practice the syllabus wisely we can score good easily..pass percentage is 35% in my college.
Other: I choosen this course because im quite good in studying it and i wanted to be in this field. The best thing is it provides many career options and nice packages. I think the thing that is need to be improved is strictness in attendance . Honestly there are not so many events and fest happens. Connectivity is quite nice. My college provides many scholarship programs for students . And extracurricular activities include Sports, NCC, NSS and some of the yearly events. Sorrounding is not that much good . Because most of the students come occassionally because of no attendance issue.

I am satisfied with the college faculty members but dissatisfied by the office work .
Placements: Only 1 percent of people got placements, and most of the companies came with offers in marketing. My course is in the research and laboratory field. The companies that come are from the marketing field; first, they ask students for marketing and sales jobs. Companies related to research are not coming there.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of the college are good. There are all facilities available in the college like smart boards, laboratories, library, and CCTV cameras are everywhere in the college premises. But there are no hostel facilities for girls in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and attentive towards the students. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They give us career guidance also. Sometimes teachers suggest us about internships and all things regarding studies. Exams are happening at a moderate level, and the passing percentage is approximately 85 percent.
Other: I chose B.Sc. Biotechnology because I have an interest in the research field or in making medicine for different diseases. I wish research and pharmaceutical companies should also visit for placement and other things like extracurricular activities, etc., are happening properly.
