Placements: GLC is an institution which has a strong student body. The student body has its placement cell. Students get PPOs and decent placement opportunities are given. The alma mater is such that students are placed with much ease. Also, eminent jurists' recommendations can be easily obtained
Placements: The placements at Government Law College are good. About 20 lakh is the highest whereas 8 lakh to 10 lakhs is the average. The companies that regularly visit the campus are Amarchand Mangaldas, AZB and Ernst and Young. The internships are not offered on campus and students need to work on it themselves.
It is the first Asian law college since 1855. It has really a good brand name but sometimes it shows that it is a government college. Faculty staff is not that much good for some subjects. Except this, all other things like internship programs for exposure in law, are good enough. The city has a lot of law firms which is an added advantage.
Placement is good at the college. Active societies such as Moots and Mun. But there is the lack of good teachers. The interaction between students and teachers is missing thing too which is very fundamental to the understanding of the law. Good thing again being the ranking of the college which is in the top 10 in the country.
When I think of GLC, the first thing which comes to my mind about Asia's oldest law school is its prestigious alumni base ranging from Smt. Indira Gandhi and B.R Ambedkar to Soli Sorabjee, G.E Vahanvati and Mrs. Pratibha Patil. The outstanding alumni base has been providing strength to the foundation of the college for more than a century. Placements: Placements are good. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA. The placement cell is well established and it is in touch with top firms like AZB, CAM, and SAM. Students can have immense exposure to the overall process of seeking internships or getting placed.
Placements: The college is good and has the best infrastructure and also it provides placement and the faculty are very helpful and co-operative and the placement cell manages the things related to the placement they provides training and guidance to sit in the placement.
Placements: The placements of our college is so much fine. It provides A good platform to students. Last year a company visited in our college and gave 600000 package to a BCA student. A great college and a Great level of study. 76% students were placed last year.
Placements: The placement through college takes place through Placements Committee, which takes your preference of firms for the placement and then on getting shortlisted, informs your about the interview. The courses comes under the Mumbai University and the college is affiliated to it too.
