Good placement opportunities.

Placements: The college has good placement opportunities, but there is a need for more support in securing internships. While top companies recruit, students often struggle to find internships on their own. The college should provide better guidance and resources for internships, such as workshops, networking events, and partnerships with companies. Internships are essential for building practical skills, and more assistance in this area would greatly improve career readiness and job opportunities after gra...

I feel the honour to be a part of this privileged college.

Placements: The average salary package bragged by GLC students is probably 12 LPA. The top role offered in our course is a legal advisory. Almost every student is bound to get an internship. I think every student who managed to join GLC is due to its ultimate academic performance, which is consistent.

I am decently satisfied with our college.

Placements: The placement committee of our college is the most sincere and hardworking. They try to invite top companies to college for placements. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of recruiters visit here was commendable. It is a highly professional group. Trilegal and other firms always visit here for placements.

The college is known for its alumni.

Placements: It is a law college. Students get placed in a law firm as advocates or as a corporate lawyer in a company. Students practice as advocates mostly in the Bombay high court. Most of the students are placed in a law firm near the college. Some of them joined in companies.

If you want to work hard on your own, join this college.

Placements: The placement committee doesn't want to reveal the placement records. However, as we are aware of the latest trends and we are in contact with the seniors, I can explain to you about the placements here. Top law firms in Mumbai and outside Mumbai like AZB, SAM, CAM, and Khaitan have visited the campus to hire the students of our senior batch. Many profound advocates like Nishith Desai was also one of our recruiters, and companies like Trilegal and DSK Legal also hired students from our college. ...

The best college in Mumbai, provides great placements.

Placements: The best law college in Mumbai and one of the best in India. It has a great name on which it thrives, but you have to reach out and take the opportunities you get here. The placements cell is excellent, and every firm in Mumbai wants graduates from this college. They have regular placement fairs, and you are bound to find a place of employment if you go here and are halfway decent.

Best alumni and Asia's oldest law college.

Placements: Placements have been good from the college lately. Big firms of the law arena such as AZB, Amarchand Mangaldas, Trilegal etc. come to pick the students. Salary starts from 1 law per month depending on the firm's criteria. These companies also give replacement offers and internship offers as well. Being a long term intern helps you secure a PPO and ultimately a job with the firm. That is an advantage.

It is the first Asian law college since 1855. It has really a good brand name but sometimes it shows that it is a government college. Faculty staff is not that much good for some subjects. Except this, all other things like internship programs for exposure in law, are good enough. The city has a lot of law firms which is an added advantage.

Placement is good at the college. Active societies such as Moots and Mun. But there is the lack of good teachers. The interaction between students and teachers is missing thing too which is very fundamental to the understanding of the law. Good thing again being the ranking of the college which is in the top 10 in the country.

When I think of GLC, the first thing which comes to my mind about Asia's oldest law school is its prestigious alumni base ranging from Smt. Indira Gandhi and B.R Ambedkar to Soli Sorabjee, G.E Vahanvati and Mrs. Pratibha Patil. The outstanding alumni base has been providing strength to the foundation of the college for more than a century. Perhaps, if we talk about the present scenario, I would say that the proximity of the college to the Bombay High Court and the flexibility it provides to its ...

Our college location is perfect, and it also has student committees.

Placements: Placements are good. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA. The placement cell is well established and it is in touch with top firms like AZB, CAM, and SAM. Students can have immense exposure to the overall process of seeking internships or getting placed.

A college that gives you your own space.

Placements: The placement through college takes place through Placements Committee, which takes your preference of firms for the placement and then on getting shortlisted, informs your about the interview. The courses comes under the Mumbai University and the college is affiliated to it too.
