Strong academics with great facilities and supportive faculty.

Infrastructure: GMC Amritsar has excellent infrastructure, with well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and a good library. Wi-Fi is available in some areas. Hostels are clean, and the food in the mess is decent, with a good variety. The canteen serves tasty snacks. Medical facilities are top-notch, as expected from a medical college. Sports facilities include a gym and basketball court.

The oldest medical college in Punjab .

Infrastructure: The quality of the food is on par but not the best. The infrastructure has been old since the college was established in the 1920s. The classrooms are up-to-date with the latest laboratory equipment and equipped with projectors and ACs. A state-of-the-art library and auditorium are built. Along with a swimming pool, gym, table tennis, cricket and football field. Hostels are both new and old. They are in good condition.

All over, it's a good college.

Infrastructure: Being a government college and hospital, the infrastructure is lacking. Although they have constructed two new hostels, one for girls (the smaller one) and another for boys, the overall condition of the college infrastructure is manageable but definitely needs improvement.

Good campus size with poor maintenance .

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are quite average like the rooms are okayish. Girls hostel does not have single room facilities until you proceed senior batches. There is sheer lack of maintenance of the hostels. A new hostel is under construction. Hostel does not have Wi-Fi, geyser is available. Mess has average food. Library has improper lighting and ventilation and no Wi-Fi plus lack of new books. Lecture theatre anatomy Lt is air conditioned rest are not. Playgrounds are being upgraded. There is a sports...

This is an average medical college.

Infrastructure: The buildings are newly constructed i.e new boys hostel and a girls hostel. There is no air-conditioner in the girls' hostel, but they are poorly maintained. The boys' hostel is not kept properly with dogs roaming around. It also constructs a sports complex with a pool and gym, but the pool is very dirty. The food served in the canteen and mess is average. The laboratories and exam centers are newly constructed in this college.

Some true insights about GMC Amritsar.

Infrastructure: Being a government college and hospital, the infrastructure part is lagging here. Although they have constructed 2 new hostels, one for girls (the smaller one) and the other for boys. But overall, the condition of college infrastructure is manageable. But it needs improvement, definitely.

Review of Government Medical College, Amritsar.

Infrastructure: Our campus has a student body center (pool, badminton court, table tennis, etc.) We also have a library and an auditorium. Other facilities like football ground, cricket ground, volleyball court, a Verka Booth, and a canteen are also available. There are around 6 hostels on the campus, and the food served is average.

It has good placements, great campus and the finest faculty, but the infrastructure is bad.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average compared to other medical colleges. The college campus is beautiful and green. The infrastructure of our hostel is very bad. The classrooms are good. But now, new hostels are under construction for both boys and girls. The sports complex has recently been opened. Our college has a ground for basketball, volleyball and football, and they are well maintained now.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.

Infrastructure: The building is 100 years old. The new building is very well built. The classrooms have adequate lighting and ventilation and are completely air-conditioned. The library has quite good lighting. There are separate rooms with AC for PG. The hostel is okay, with daily room cleaning and laundry service. Water filter system and geysers are present. You can even install AC in your rooms and can use any other electronic gadget. The canteen is student-cooperative. Medical facilities are available 24 ho...

Good campus life, great college, facilities above average.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in GMC is good. The College campus is beautiful with lots of greenery. The classrooms are good. The library is good and provides lots of old medical books with amazing texts. Hostel facilities are average. Canteens on the campus are good with good food quality. We have a sports complex which has recently been opened is still developing.

I am not completely satisfied with the college as it is not worth the entrance exam (NEET).

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college is average when compared to other medical colleges, but it's still not that bad. However, the infrastructure of hostels is not good. But a new hostel building is under construction, and hopefully, hostels will also be better soon. The college has a ground for football, cricket, volleyball, and running, but it's not well-maintained. The college has nice parking facilities but it cannot accomodate many cars; it is enough for students only.
