Absolutely satisfied with the institute, its amazing campus and its facilities.
Placements: I swear that in our college, 95% of students get placed in the Electronics Engineer department, and the remaining students are moving on to higher studies. 15 LPA is the highest package, 15000 per month is the lowest and the average is 45000 in my course. The top recruiting companies for my course are ISRO, TATA Consultancy Services, CoderDojo, Cummins, Cadence, Samsung Electronics, First Student, etc. Almost 90% of students got internship from my course in BSNL, Honeywell, BHEL, DRDO, ECIL, Texas instruments, etc. The top roles offered in my course are Software engineer, Hardware technician, programmer, Faculty, Technical manager, Circuit designer, Tester, etc.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities available for students in our college to make them more innovative, to improve their knowledge, to improve their skills, and more. Here are some of the facilities I am describing below in short. In our college, each department allows free Wi-Fi for students, and every labs is allowed to be used at any time for students, so we could maximize the utilization of every labs to do our projects, to try more experiments, to learn and practice more code, to design more innovative circuits, to prepare slides presentations, word documents Excel for ourselves, etc. Our college library is always accessible; it consists of separate sessions and shelves for each department and contains a lot of books to refer to and learn more about. There are additional opportunities for students to utilize their knowledge on their own, for example, the YIP (Young Innovators Program), which is a government-offered platform for students to submit their innovative ideas and take them to reality with the support of the government. Another example is the IEDC (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre), which also promotes the ideas of students and makes innovative projects to make a difference in the world. And our institute conducts more technical project exposures, job fairs, place-based training programs, seminars, etc. for students. Our institute provides clean and hygienic hostel facilities for girls with high-quality and tasty foods at the right time, ground in front of the hostel to practice games and sports, a counselor to provide counseling for girls, required medical facilities, etc. The boys hostel is currently under construction, so boys are switched to the staff hostel, which also has the required facilities.
Faculty: Each and every teacher is well-versed, helpful, highly qualified and very supportive, and their teaching skills are just amazing. This course curriculum is highly relevant and it makes the students ready for industry. The difficulties of semester exams depend on the knowledge and dedication of the student who is writing them. Semester exams are easy and efficient for every student who has completely studied and understood the syllabus and is well-dedicated. Pass percentage is 75% and above.
Other: I am well interested in the electronics field, and I know that technology is the future of the world and electronics is the base of technology, which offers more and more opportunities to improve my knowledge and skills and to utilize those at their best. That's the best thing about my course and that's why I chose electronics engineering as my course. I am well satisfied with my course and my institute. It would be better to add research labs to our institute and to conduct more seminars or shows to let the students know about the updates in this field.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2023

The best Polytechnic college in Kerala.
Placements: The college has a good and active placement call, which will ensure the placement for the students who are seeking jobs. About 60 percentage of students got placement, from that half of the students choose to accept the offer. The highest package from mechanical department was 35000 starting, that was in gulf country. The highest package in india was 27000 monthly. And the lowest is 11000 starting monthly. Average salary is 16000.
27k placement was in the MRF company. Other top companies also recruited from the college, like wipro, Infosys, Suzuki, etc. All students need to do compulsory internship as the part of the course, most of the mechanical students got internship from a plastic manufacturing company CIPET Palakkad, others also completed their internship from other small companies, all internships were paid. Top roles from the course that were got placed as mechanical engineer, mechanical design engineer, AC mechanical, quality checking engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The college buildings were built by the British, and some modifications done recently. Labs are neat and fully functional, classrooms are good with wooden benches, blackboard, projector, no AC, also got some mosquito issues, but got fans. College got girls hostel but no hostel for the boys should get a paying guest facility. College have a library, that contains a big collection of books. Wi-Fi was not good when I studied, but I think it will be upgraded. College have a canteen that is neat and good and food is available there for a low price. Medical facilities are good in college, also the college is in city, hospital are near. The college support sports and games very well only if you got good talent.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and supportive. They got a good knowledge In that field. Teaching quality were excellent for some faculty members and not bad for others. When talking about course caurriculam, it will give you good knowledge in mechanical field, but when you get a job mostly there is no use of that studies, is a fact. Semester exams are easy in first year and last year. Second year exam were a little difficult. Practical exam were easy to pass. Theoretical exam were easy to get supply. 90 was the pass percentage of our batch.
Other: College life is good but not great. It is government college, so when comparing to the private college it is 5 rating in value for money. Will conduct good events and teach festivals for sure. 19 acre campus is big and wide mostly forest, but got a vintage vibe. Politics has a good role in the college.

Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2023

Good college facilities and infrastructure but with no college life .
Placements: A very high percentage of students was placed last year in private companies. There were nice companies like MRF and L&D. A lot of students were placed with average starting salaries like 12000. But some did get to work in Hyderabad and Mumbai with a starting salary of 23000. There were other companies too like TVS who provided large amount of placement last year .
Infrastructure: We were provided with great amount of facilities probably because the new electrical section was made just few years back. Every classroom has a projector and a separate laptop for use. The labs are pretty good with almost every equipment needed for our practice. The Library looks neat with a wide variety of books. College hostel is not available right now. And the canteen provides good food for an average price. There is no room provided for sick students. We have a large ground with both cricket and football teams with all the needed sports equipments.
Faculty: Well there are pretty good teachers along with average ones. They have the qualifications and knowledge. So I would say they provide an above average teaching quality. The syllabus actually changed this year and made drastic changes of excluding unwanted topics. They do provide us with industrial knowledge but it comes with lot of pressure. The exams are actually tough for lot of students. Even though the pass percentage is still high a lot of students passes with barely enough marks
.
Other: The covid has taken valuable amount of time from us. So the semester is pretty packed and comes with a lot of pressure. Maybe that's the reason why we haven't gotten any kind of events like sports or arts day. There hasn't been time for anything besides studying from my first year
Maybe it would have been different without covid.

Absolutely satisfied with the facilities, and the placements in previous years were good.
Placements: For students who passed their 10th with good scores, there is no fee. Aarbee Constructions, L&T, and Amigos, are the recruiting companies. Students with a CGPA above 9 got internships. Students who completed the higher secondary can also take admission in our college based on their grade.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our college are very good. Wi-Fi connection is available. Books related to our courses are available in the library. Classrooms are hygienic. Hostel facilities are good, and the mess provides non-vegetarian good once a week. Sports and games facilities are also available.
Faculty: The teaching quality is excellent, and all the teachers are eligible to teach their subjects. They are hard-working. This course is relevant, and in the final year of the course, the college conducts many technical sessions like industrial and immersive training sessions. It helps to improve yourself.
