Review of Government Sri Krishnarajendra Silver Jubilee Technological Institute.
Placements: Students don't get placements in our college. Companies don't visit our college. The highest salary package offered ranges between 5 LPA - 6 LPA. All students got internships from our college. There is no placement cell in our college.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good. Its fee is affordable.
Faculty: Our college does not have many faculty members. We have many guest faculty members. All faculty members are not helpful. Our college does not conduct activities to make us ready for the industry. The teaching quality is good.

B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2024

I'm dissatisfied with the placements provided in our college.
Placements: Around 10% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package is 3 LPA. Infosys is the top recruiting company. Around 10% of students got placed at Infosys. Around 100% of internships are provided. The role offered is system analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities provided in our college are good. Wi-Fi, labs, and a library are helpful for students. Hostel has good infrastructure and it serves good food. Hostel rooms, mess, and washrooms are hygienic. Most of the students are unable to access the library because it consists of old textbooks only.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good, but there are fewer faculty members. The course curriculum makes students moderately ready for the industry. The average pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course as it provides jobs in the IT sector. Extracurricular activities are organised in our college.

B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2025

Don't expect like top engineering colleges, it is a government college with fewer facilities.
Placements: In our college, there is no placement opportunity. Not a single company visits our college for the Computer Science branch. There are very few internship opportunities given. Nearly 5-10 percent of students grab those internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was built in 1930, but a new building is being constructed. The new building is good, but not better. Labs, classrooms, and the library are better. There is no Wi-Fi facility. The college hostel is located within 100 meters of the college campus. The food is okay. There is no canteen.
Faculty: In the college, the faculty is very friendly and comparatively good. Teaching depends on the teachers, but the teaching is not impressive; self-study is better. Exams are conducted in a very disciplined manner. Nearly 90 percent is the passing percentage. Exams are conducted by VTU University.
Other: In our college, Silk and Textile is the best branch. Placement opportunities are available in those branches. In CS, EC, and Civil, there are no placements. If you are willing to do those branches, it is the best option for this college.

I am not satisfied with our college infrastructure and campus.
Placements: Around 40-50% of students got placed in all batches. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has been established in 1930. The infrastructure of our college is not good. Our college is not clean. Our college's new building is under construction. Wi-Fi is available in our college. The library is average. Our classrooms are good. The hostel is good, and its rooms are clean.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. They won't conduct classes regularly. Some lectures are quite good. Exams are conducted in a well-disciplined way. The pass percentage is quite good.
Other: Our course is the best compared to other courses.

B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2024

One of the Best Government engineering College in Bangalore for students.
Placements: In our college 50 to 60 percent of students are placed. The scope after BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering is very good. Students get job as a software engineer. The yearly package offered is INR 4 LPA to INR 6 Lacs per annum. Top companies of Bangalore are the prime recruiters, like Infosys. Students get internships too.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure and facilities. Hostels facilities are also available in our college and classrooms are also good. They provide free Wi-Fi and can get any course's books in library.
Faculty: The best teachers are available in our college. They are good at teaching and support students for their career. Teachers are highly qualified. Students visit industries and get jobs in highly reputed companies and 90% of students pass every semester.
Other: Electronics and communication engineering is one of the best course in engineering, because one get good jobs in highly reputed companies. College fests and sports are organized in our college.

B.E. in Textile Technology - Batch of 2020
3.8
4Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
It is a nice college but doesn't have basic facilities.
Placements: For textile technology, campus placements are offered compared to other branches as they have to opt for off-campus placements. More than 70% of the students get placed in popular companies. The highest salary package offered so far was 8 LPA for freshers, while the lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. Companies which visit here for placements are Gokaldas Exports, Shahi, Jockey and Raymonds.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are the worst as there is no toilet facility for men. They have to go to another government building for the toilet. There is a Wi-Fi facility in our college, and its speed is very low and will be connected to only 100 devices. The hostel facility is good, and it provides food and snacks. But there is also the same issue of toilet facility in the hostel.
Faculty: I will give a rating of 4 stars out of 5 stars for course and curriculum. There is only one permanent faculty member who struggles hard to maintain as there is no one to support him in the textile department. Rest of all faculty members are guest lecturers. The only drawback of the textile course is that the syllabus is outdated and needs to be updated to ensure that students are updated with current technologies of the industry.
Other: I was very passionate about textiles, so I have chosen the textile stream. I wish that our college should update the syllabus and hire more faculty members and provide more working instruments or machines in the lab to get a practical knowledge of the course. Only sports day and college day are celebrated, and they don't organise anything.
