Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) - Batch of 2019

Absolutely wholesome learning and campus experience in 2019.
Placements: Placements support was extensive during my batch. The CCS team conducted rigorous placement preparation with mock interviews, GDs, guesstimates, etc., which were standard for recruitment processes. The average CTC for my 2019 batch was 11.2 LPA, with the highest hitting 17 LPA. All my batchmates were placed by the end of the programme. As per recent placement statistics, the campus has come a long way in just 5 years.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure and hostels are state-of-the-art. A fully Wi-Fi-equipped air-conditioned campus with ample open space and greenery provides a comfortable and conducive learning environment to spend a lot of productive time with peers. Classrooms are modern auditorium-style to enable the best faculty-student interactions. Food quality is far better than most hostels in the country.
Faculty: The most supportive faculty in all my academic journey. The best part is that the faculty have no reservations against spending time with you post-lectures to clear your doubts and ensure that you have learned as much as possible. The level of personal mentorship is quite high. The curriculum is adapted every year to meet the changing needs of the industry and ensure that students are ready for the long term.
Other: I chose the course because, with 5+ years of experience, I did not want to take a long break from work. The 1-year programme helped me switch careers, get into management, and significantly increase my income in just 1 year. Being among the first ones to be placed, I could have the mind space to help my peers with their placement preparations and participate in a number of extracurricular activities, despite it being a rigorous programme in itself.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) - Batch of 2025

One of the best in all aspects!
Placements: The percentage of students placed from the previous batch was 100%. Some of the top recruiters consist of Deloitte, KPMG, Vedanta, EY, Axtria, Berkadia, BOA, Gartner, and Infosys. Some of the top roles were Senior Analyst, Team Lead, Financial Analyst, and Consultant. The highest package was 21 LPA, the median package was 10 LPA, and the lowest package was 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The classrooms have top-of-the-line technology for ease of teaching, and the library is open 24/7 for the students. The whole campus has very smooth and fast Wi-Fi, and the classrooms have provisions for online guest lectures from different industry experts from different countries. The hostel is twin sharing with adequate space in the room and is fully air-conditioned. The canteen is open until 3 AM, and the food quality is good as it is managed by Sodexo. There is a 24/7 medical facility with full support for emergencies, ambulance services, and a psychiatrist available for the mental health well-being of the students. There are football grounds, a volleyball court, badminton courts, and a basketball court for sports activities.
Faculty: Teachers are available 24/7 for any help the students may need. They are highly qualified and alumni of different reputed colleges. The teaching quality is top-notch and very updated with what is currently going on in the subject area. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant as it is very updated with current scenarios, deals with the latest technical software, and emphasizes the ethical use of Gen AI. This course prepares people for the industry, and one of the best aspects is KARMA YOGA, which helps us connect closer with the community here. The difficulty level is moderate to high, and the pass percentage is 96%.
Other: I chose this course because it provides a holistic idea and approach to current corporate scenarios and gives us knowledge of different business areas. Some of the best aspects are continuous presentations, academic projects, and the overall environment of the college. Some parts of the course need to be more robust, and some essential tools and techniques should be included software-wise, as they are still used in the industry. CREST, WINTER BUSINESS CONFERENCE, and SAPIENCE are some of the inter-college competitions and fests that take place. Every cultural event is celebrated very grandly, including fresher-farewell, Diwali parties, Garba nights, sports events, and competitions among clubs and committees.

Great Lakes Institute of Management: A Center of Excellence.
Placements: The last batch of Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, had 97% of the batch placed in the final placements, with 200 out of a batch of 300 students getting summer internships. The average package for the final placements for the PGDM program currently sits slightly north of 11 LPA, with the highest package being slightly above 22 LPA. The summer internship stipend for the last batch was an average 25,000/- monthly. Top recruiters consist of Deloitte, EY, KPMG, CRISIL, Bank of America, Infosys, Genpact, Hyundai, TATA Technologies, Gartner, and Room. New recruiters now also include Airtel, Royal Enfield, Kotak Mahindra, IDBI Bank, Atomberg, and Marsh McLennan. Top roles offered to the students were primarily in finance, sub-types of consulting, strategy, sales, and presales & marketing. There were also some new-age roles offered in the sectors of Fintech, Internet Business & Analytics, and Healthtech.
Infrastructure: The best part about this college for me personally is the 24/7 open library and gym. Apart from these, the college also has XR Lab, high-speed Wi-Fi available for students everywhere in each building in every room, and smart lecture rooms. When it comes to living, the hostel facilities are very well maintained, neat, and provide more than expected perks for a college hostel that one would've normally expected. We have AC hostel rooms with twin sharing for all the students. Multiple cafeterias/mess facilities that serve decent food, with ending machines and cooked-to-order meals from a wide range of dishes on the menu. The best part is that the whole system has been integrated through online services via an app, so managing your order for food in the mess is a very streamlined process. Coming to sports, we have multiple indoor and outdoor facilities in use, such as a basketball court, badminton court, volleyball court, football field, cricket ground, and table tennis rooms, as well as a well-equipped music room with a variety of instruments and music gear, with adequate space for practicing dance performances as well. In addition to this, we also have an amphitheater or an open-air theatre. For catering to students' health, we have a dedicated 24/7 open medical center with multiple doctors and our own ambulance service for students, as well as a psychiatrist for addressing students' mental health and support if required, all on the campus itself.
Faculty: One of the best parts about joining Great Lakes Gurgaon is their faculty. Not only the professors but the teaching assistants assigned to the teachers are very supportive and qualified to aid the development of students as much as we ask from them. After each workshop, midterm, and endterm, we are asked for regular feedback for each course or workshop and their respective faculty so that we can raise our problems and issues and suggest what was lacking and what could be improved upon. Great Lakes makes this process so effective because the head of the institutes and the program directors, as well as the professors, actually take into account the feedback and make changes. For example, they arranged multiple extra tutorial lectures for students who were from a different background for the courses they were finding difficult to understand. The curriculum itself is taught in a very application-based and practical way through simulations, case studies, and even as far as starting our own businesses from the college in teams so that students can experience the concepts they learn firsthand. The exams are not just memorizing the chapters and filling out an answer sheet, but the exams also ask case study-based real-world scenarios where we have to answer the questions by applying our knowledge and not just mugging up theory. Additionally, there is a point system in place that encourages students to participate in several internal and external business competitions and quizzes, write and publish articles in journals, forums, and newspapers, partake in research, and write case studies, all under a faculty's mentorship. The minimum passing criteria for each term is above 2.5 out of 4 CGPA, and for the point system for each year, which is a mandatory requirement, is to cross 100 points, which get rest every year.
Other: The committees and clubs are one of the best things about Great Lakes Gurgaon that make the B-school life here vibrant and enjoyable by refreshing our minds from the rigorous academics. We have clubs and committees ranging from specialization-based clubs for various specializations, cultural, sports, hobbies/interests-related clubs, food committees, toastmasters clubs, and many more, all run by students themselves under the mentorship of a faculty. Not only do we get to develop our non-academic skills, but we also have fun. Plus, the college also provides shuttle services each weekend for the students to travel to Delhi, so nobody here feels restricted even though the campus is located on the outskirts of Gurgaon.
