Placements: The placement process at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, is structured and competitive, aimed at securing roles in various sectors including Consulting, BFSI, Analytics, Marketing and Advertising, Automobile, IT/ITES, and Internet Business. For the 2024 pass-out batch, the average CTC was 11.7 LPA, with the highest package reaching 22.5 LPA.
Placements: Around 90% of the students got placed in our PGDM course. The highest package which was offered this year was 13 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 7.5 Lacs per annum. The average package this year was 8.8 Lacs per annum. The majority of the roles were offered in marketing and analytics.
Placements: The college provides 100% placement to all its students. The average CTC for the last year student was 9.3 lac and the highest was 14.5 lac. The major areas of recruitment were marketing, analytics and consulting job roles. The college has all assistance regarding placements.
Placements: PGDM is a 2-years course consists of different specialisations such as marketing, finance, analytics. The college recently got NBA accreditation. The average salary package offered is 9.2 LPA. The median salary package offered is 8.9 LPA. Almost all students got placed in summer internships as well as final.
Placements: 90 percent placed with the highest being offered remuneration was 15.5 LPA, the lowest being 7 LPA. The median package offered was 9. Cognizant and Deloitte were the top recruiters and most of the roles were from IT and sales and marketing followed by business analytics.
Placements: In our college, out of 140 students, around 135 students were placed. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Deloitte, Gartner, ABFS, Axis Bank, Fractal Analytics visited the campus for placements. Placements: Placements are good for my batch and even for my senior batch. The college helps in associating with the companies. Approximately 60% of the students get a transition. The college provides at least 50% hike on last drawn. Participation by a diverse set of companies. Average CTC offered is11.5 LPA.
Placements: The placement scenario is average at the least. Since it still an emerging college, a lot is yet to acheive. The median salary this year has been around 8.5 Lacs. Companies come but the placement scenario is about to change as the core members of placement committee were changed this year (2019).
Placements: Placements for our senior batch were very good as all the 60 students were placed. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Cognizant, and Aditya Birla, etc., visited the college for placements. The average salary package offered was around 9 LPA, while the highest salary package offered was 13 LPA. Roles of consultant, BD, analyst, and sales, etc., were offered to students. From our batch, almost 30 students got placed in Deloitte, Aditya Birla, and EY in one month.
Placements: Almost 95% of the students of our batch got placed with a median salary package in between 9 LPA to 9.50 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 13 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 7 LPA. Since PGPM is a professional course, the college doesn't invite companies that offer salary packages less than 7 LPA which is a good advantage for students.
Placements: Our college is one of the top colleges in India. A renowned professor like Mr Bappa Mukkopadhya's teaching is something which I am proud of. The average package offered is 9.1 LPA. Many companies from different fields visit our college to recruit students. The internship offered is good. The maximum package offered is Rs.50,000 by Barclays.
Placements: The placements are good if you are looking for consulting, marketing and analytics profiles. Finance profiles are still average. Major recruiters include Deloitte, KPMG, Aditya Birla SunLife Insurance, Cognizant etc., visit the college. Companies which visit the college at the time of placements are from Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune. Last year, the average CTC was 9.2 LPA, and all were placed except 3 who didn't qualify for placements.
Placements: We had a good placement season if not excellent. Mostly we got analytics and marketing roles with three of big4s visited campus. Given that the college is developing in a faster pace so we can definetly expect more companies and better roles in terms of leadership orientation to come in near future.
Placements: Placements weren't really perfect, might be attributed to the downturn in IT and startup sector. The management has been supporting the students in getting placed, however, it could've been better. Many business analyst roles came and also quite a few roles in sales. The highest package was 15.5 lpa and the lowest was 8 lpa (though this had a substantially large variable part). The average package was around 10 lpa.
Faculty- Faculty of the college is experienced and learned. Student to faculty ratio is good enough. Ex-Professors from top B schools are available to teach especially for Marketing and Finance. Infrastructure- Infrastructure of the college is new as they have shifted to new location. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and all the equipments required for effective teaching are available. The course curriculum and the faculty are good. A lot of live projects and industrial interaction provides a good hands-on industrial experience. PGPM energy course is perfectly in line with the sectoral requirement. Placements in the college are decent, one can expect a good hike after the course completion. Good for freshers and experienced candidates.
“Excellent faculty and comprehensive development of students” Ideal place to one who is looking out to make headwinds in energy sector. Predominantly the faculty, industry exposure as well as the individual attention given to individual students considering the smaller batch size is are the few takeaways for this institution.
Since the inception of its Chennai campus in 2004, Great Lakes has already established itself as a brand and is currently considered among the best B-schools in the country. Great Lakes, Gurgaon offers Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) and Post Graduate Program in Energy Management (PGPME). The energy management program offered in Great Lakes, Gurgaon is unique in its own way. The faculty pool of the college is excellent and is at par with the best in the country in contemporary times....
Placements: Placements in our college are good. The average salary package offered is 8-9 LPA. Placements will increase in future, and it was outstanding from 3 years. Many startups visit here, but top companies do not here. There are no placements for finance students.
