Worthiness of Investment in B.Sc. at Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College
While considering investing in a B.Sc. programme at Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College, here's what students and alumni have to say:
* Infrastructure: Some parts of the college may be outdated, but efforts are being made to replace old structures with new ones. The college has a good Wi-Fi network, and computer labs are well-equipped.
* Teaching Staff: Faculty members are generally friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help students. However, some students felt that certain professors (e.g., those teaching physics and chemistry) could improve in terms of clarity and doubt-clearing.
* Placement Opportunities: Unfortunately, the college doesn't provide placements for all courses, including the author's B.Sc. non-medical stream. While some students managed to secure jobs independently, others struggled to find employment.
* Campus Life: The college has a pleasant atmosphere, with eco-friendly surroundings and two canteens offering decent food options. However, the lack of a playground and subpar mess is a notable drawback.
* Education Quality: The curriculum is relevant, and students receive both theoretical and practical knowledge. While semester exams can be challenging, students can still manage to pass with minimal effort.
Considering these factors, whether or not a B.Sc. programme at Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College is "worth the investment" largely depends on individual priorities. For those seeking a strong educational foundation, exposure to modern infrastructure, and opportunities for personal growth, the college may be a suitable choice. However, students looking for guaranteed placements or state-of-the-art facilities might need to consider alternative institutions. Ultimately, potential students should weigh the pros and cons carefully before making an informed decision.

Review of Gujrawala Guru Nanak Khalsa College.
Placements: Placements for the computer background and commerce background are good and many people got placed in our college. We had different placement cells for different departments. During the placement, lectures guide us to crack the interview. The college placement is very good.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure might be old in some classes but now, there are being replaced with new ones. It is too good. Our college sports department provides NCC and NSS training too. Our college also provides a free Wi-Fi facility too. Physics lab and computer labs are well-maintained.
Faculty: The teachers and management of our college are very supportive. They help in clearing all doubts and they provide the perfect mixture of practical and theoretical knowledge. Students can score good marks easily. Teachers never miss their lectures. College result is always good.
Other: The fee of our course is about Rs.25000 per year. Our college allows students to pay their fees in installments. The best part is campus is eco-friendly and very green. Our college is very neat and clean.

It's an average college. With average infrastructure and good faculty.
Placements: I am pursuing Bachelor of Science in non-medical and here are no placements for my course. So here are no highest and lowest placements. Also no top recruiting companies and also here no internships are offered that's why I only gave one star to my college in placements.
Infrastructure: Here are no hostel and college infrastructure is of average level. We have Wi-Fi, good labs, average classrooms and a fine library. And about college mess, it's just disgusting and also we don't have any playground. I think, it's a huge drawback of college.
Faculty: Teachers are quiet good. They are intelligent and have very good knowledge. They teaches us very well and assist us in our works and also they are highly qualified. And our exams are quiet tough. We have to study a lot for my course. And pass percentage of students of my course is 40.

It is the best college and is value for money for B.Sc., pharmacy and PGDCA.
Placements: The placements are not provided by our college, but they provide proper guidance to all students for their future. All the teachers are highly talented and have good knowledge about their subjects. Although no placements are provided in our college, many students are placed in MNCs after completing their degrees and qualifying interviews on their own.
Infrastructure: The college provides paid Wi-Fi facilities included in the annual fee. They have highly developed computer labs. But Physics labs are not well maintained, and the equipment is old and damaged. Two canteens are available on the campus. No ground is present for sports. But a gym is available for NCC students.
Faculty: All the faculty members are friendly. They are very good. They provide proper hospitality at the college too. They provide guidance to newbies. Monthly tests are conducted before final exams to prepare students. Exams are not so difficult, and the pass percentage is 35%. Students can easily pass if studied for MST seriously.
Other: I chose B.Sc. as it provides further chances to pick from various courses, which help a lot. Currently, I am doing M.Sc. IT. The campus also provides two good canteens. Scholarships are provided to needy.

Our college has ultimate goal to make the students employable.
Placements: Our college has been interacting and collaberating with good experienced companies to conduct campus drives. Almost 80% of students for every is being placed in expected companies with good annual package. The lowest package is for B.A. and the highest is for pharmacy. Students who gained above 85 % are given internship in my college. According to my course they offer me a job of a professor / teacher in any of the government college.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure I have seen and experienced. All the basic facilities for all the students were provided by college management. Also the other advanced facilities like classrooms with smart boards, electricity, internet availability. College environment and surroundings are well maintained. Pleasant atmosphere for mental health and concentration.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and they are helpful as well and treats all the students equally. The college atmosphere made the students believe that they can achieve something big after the particular course. Semester exams are quite difficult. Pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Events like declamation contest, fresher's party, farewell takes place timely.

Our college provides good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: Placements in our college are not good. Very few students get placed in college, and it is not worth it. Placements are generally from local companies, and they offer very low salary packages. So most of the students didn't accept these packages. You rarely get a good salary package from any reputed company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is above average. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Wi-Fi speed is very good and we also have solar power. Practical labs are good and all types of equipment are in good condition. Computer labs are also equipped with the latest hardware and software. Classrooms are also well lit and ventilated with proper sitting arrangements. Library is the best part of the college. There are all types of books available, and a good collection of magazines is also there.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very good. They genuinely want to help students. All the teachers in our course are qualified and very knowledgeable. They all conduct regular classes and all teach in a friendly way so that students understand the topic properly. The course curriculum is much relevant and students learn practically so that it helps them while working.
Other: I chose this course because I love maths, physics, and computer science. I love attending computer science classes. I wish the placements could be improved. There are various types of events that are held throughout the year in which students can participate. Seminars & workshops are held on a monthly basis. NCC & NSS is also available.

I'm not satisfied. There are no placements. There are good maths teachers, but others are not good.
Placements: There are 60 students in the B.Sc batch. Until now, salary packages are not offered. Until now, none of the companies visited here for recruitment, and there are no internships. You have to do everything on your own as teachers don't put any effort into the development of students.
Infrastructure: There are two canteens among which one is good, but the other one is of poor quality. You will also get a Wi-Fi facility in our college. There are two labs, i.e., physics and chemistry. There is a conference hall where all functions are organised. Overall, the infrastructure is very poor, and our college should improve it. You can join NCC and other additional courses. Very less curricular activities are conducted here. I am the CR of the B.Sc.
Faculty: In maths, all the teachers are qualified, and they are very helpful. One of our teachers is a gold medalist. But physics and chemistry teachers are not much good and do not clear our doubts. Students are pursuing the course just for a degree, and none of them knows the practical application of the course.
Other: I think our college should improve the infrastructure and increase staff members so as to help every student.
