Prestigious college and proud to be a student of this college.
Placements: Our 2k24 batch contains 250 members and all seats are filled. The students who studied in our college reached greater positions after their internship. The passed-out batches are working in top hospitals around the world. Our college offers MBBS and paramedical courses. Each course has its own value, and all of them have good placements.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure, and each classroom has AC. As labs are important to each student, we can get all information about the subject from those labs, and faculty will make us do all the experiments. Faculty members clarify all our doubts and teach everything clearly so that everyone can understand the chapters. Faculty members are available at all times in their respective departments. The hostel has Wi-Fi facilities, washing machines, and geysers available. The mess food is eatable, and the canteen also has affordable prices. Regarding sports and games, the 1999 batch students recently provided a good playground in the hostel for volleyball and badminton.
Faculty: As the teachers who will teach us have also studied MBBS, they know how to teach and what to teach to make the students learn the subject clearly. Internal exams are held two times a year, and after that, final exams are held. Internals are important because they help students learn how to attempt the questions in a particular pattern. The pass percentage for each internal is 50% of total marks. The MBBS course has many opportunities, and the curriculum of the 5 years is very useful for students to learn all the skills to look after a patient.
Other: The doctor profession is the most noble profession, and the doctor is the first person to save people after God. Doctors who make money with the lives of people should be abolished from society. In our college, every year there is a fest, and the campus has a garden where all students get good memories. Scholarships and fee reimbursements are also available for students.

    Excellent clinical and patient exposure.
Placements: Well, we all know, that MBBS is a 5.5-year course, out of which 4.5 years would be academics and 1 year would be internship at the hospital affiliated with the college. Guntur Medical College students have to do an internship in the government hospital GGH for a year. During the 4.5 years of an academic course, students won't be earning at all. However, there are government and private scholarships available for eligible students. During the internship, students will be paid a decent amount of stipend which is around Rs. 20, 000 per month. However, it varies from state to state (Rs. 7, 000 to Rs. 40, 000).
Infrastructure: Guntur Medical College is the 2nd oldest medical college in the state. It is established around 76 years ago. It would be more like a museum or any monument rather than a fancy architectural building like most of the other private medical colleges. Basic facilities, like classrooms and library, are decently maintained. Ventilation and other facilities of the classroom depend on the department of the particular subject. Other necessary facilities, like mess, canteen, etc., are average. Out of all, the garden of the college would be a highlight. Greenery is well maintained in the campus surroundings, giving a feeling of refreshing.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly experienced and qualified. The teaching quality is equal or even better when compared to any other standard medical college. Coming to curriculum, 4 years ago, the latest curriculum CBME is introduced across the country. Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) is a student-centered curriculum and is rather lesser dependent on faculty. This curriculum aims to mold Indian medical graduates compatible with any other foreign medical graduate. Exams are difficult due to a vast syllabus, however, regular learning helps a lot. Especially, during 1st year of MBBS is more tougher.

    Good college with a history.
Placements: there are around 250 students. It's a good college. We get to have wide clinical exposure, and we can learn a lot of things and have fun. The college is nice with 75-plus years of history. I'd recommend joining this college. It's a nice college.
Infrastructure: The hostel is pretty good, and they maintain hygiene and cleanliness. But, the hostel food is pretty bad. It tastes awful and is a waste of money. The hostel rules restrict the students from going out after 8, and the hostel warden is not so good. That's it.
Faculty: We pretty much learn everything on our own. Professors are not much. They come and teach just to complete the syllabus and don't care about the students. We learn from online platforms and do everything on our own. So, that's it.
Other: I joined in 2018 and graduated in 2024. I did my internship info to be in placements 2023 to 2024, which was very fun, and I learned a lot of things.

All the labs and lecture halls are available, spacious and are maintained well. GMC also has library where all the books, magazines, articles are available. It also has a very large auditorium for events and fests. Classrooms have AC and projectors.
Faculty: All the teachers who teach students are well educated and have finished their Masters. Each department has a HOD (Head of Department), 3-5 associate professors, 3-5 assistant professors and 5-10 postgraduate. There will be internal exams for every 3 months and finals at the end. Labs have lab technician who guide during practical. Each subject has 2 papers that is paper I and paper II. Each paper is for 100 marks and pass mark is 50 for each paper and 100 for the subject.

The best college for studying -guntur medical college.
Placements: The fee for the course is around 15000. There are many postgraduates from this college. This is one of the best colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The clinical equipment is very good. The internship opportunities are many. The faculty here is very helpful and always follows the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is good. As it is one of the best colleges and the oldest college in Andhra Pradesh, the infrastructure is like ancient times infrastructure. But the hostel is not preferable. The infrastructure of the hostel is not that good.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. There is a mentorship program in which the student is under the vision of the teacher. The curriculum is very useful. By following the curriculum, it will be easy for the students to pass in the examination. There are many students passing from this college.
Other: I chose MBBS to become a successful doctor. I feel it is the most satisfying job in which you serve people, and it is the job where doctors are treated as gods.
