Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Great college, good environment, infrastructure.
Placements: The students placed from my course were 35-40, on campus and others from off-campus placement. The highest package was around 6 LPA. Everyone from my course got internships. There was Sumago Infotech who offered internships. The courses offered are Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science.
Infrastructure: Every floor has Wi-Fi, and every floor has labs as per their requirements and as per their course. The library is well-maintained and cleanliness is great. It has a great turf with great maintenance to provide students with great ground and amenities. The canteen food is also good.
Faculty: There are a lot of exams to prepare students. The curriculum is all set and teachers complete their syllabus on time. Exams are difficult to prepare the students accordingly. There is a prelim practical exam to make sure every student is well-prepared.
Other: This course has a lot of scope, and in this college, there are a lot of events, and the surroundings are great. Every department has its own fest, and it's great overall.

College experience with its infrastructure and extracurricular activities.
Placements: Many seniors got placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered ranges from 5-6 LPA. Mostly, 80% of students got placed in college. The course is interesting, and the specialization in automobile engineering is the most interesting part.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Each department has its own Wi-Fi. Classrooms are well-maintained. The quality of the food in the canteen is very hygienic and good enough. Sports and games are not held properly, and no support is given for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, helpful, very skilled, and knowledgeable. Semester exams are held very strictly with proper university norms. The pass percentage is 50%, and exams are of moderate level.
Other: The basic reason I chose this course is the information about machines and automobiles.

New building for more courses. They have build new building for MBA so you can join if you want.
Placements: My batch consists of a total of 60 students. Out of 60, many of them got internships after completing their BE in civil. Top recruiting companies are from local areas like Bolkar, Maheswari companies, etc. Almost every student got an internship. The highest package offered was 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite classy but there is always room for improvement which I think they should do. First of all, they need to change mess services. All classrooms must have Wi-Fi facilities with very high connectivity.
Faculty: Faculty is quite supportive but the HODs of all departments are a bit furious. BE Civil has some awesome courses like the Global Positioning System course which is offered only at our college.
Other: I am very fond of engineering so, I decided to take civil engineering as my profession. The best thing about this course was job availability which will never end. There is always a high demand for civil engineers. The annual function is quite good on our campus.

Value for Money and Nice College.
Placements: Almost 70-80% of students get placement every year. The placement officer and team are also very supportive; they help you get a good placement, but of course, it's up to you to prepare for placement. Lectures are also taken on how to prepare for placement and other things. There are also various patents registered.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and a nice environment for study. The food quality of the mess and canteen is also good. There is a huge ground to play cricket, football, and a separate basketball court is also available. The college campus is rich with greenery. In the college campus, there is also a Gurdwara. The college campus includes certain projects like a solar power plant.
Faculty: Faculty is very helpful and supportive as well. Faculty is always ready to solve your problems. Faculty is very knowledgeable and dedicated to their work. Faculty provides you with self-written notes as well as PPTs. Faculty also helps you with college admission and other things.

Highly recommend. Guru Gobind Singh College provides a great curriculum, academics, and environment.
Placements: The total number of students for the course is approximately 75. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 1 LPA - 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Mahindra, Siemens, etc. Many students get placed in companies through college placements every year.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very well-maintained. They are in a very good condition. Each department is provided with Wi-Fi. The library is very beneficial for students. The quality of food provided in the canteen is very good. The focus on sports is less.
Faculty: Teachers here are well-qualified and have good teaching skills. I didn't agree with the point that the degree or whatever teachers teach students will make them ready for the industry. Semester exams are held very strictly. The basic passing criteria for each subject is a minimum of 40 marks.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in automobiles and machines. The best thing about the course is that students get to learn about every small thing about automobiles. According to me, this course is perfect. Events held are very enthusiastic. Many events are conducted by the particular departments. The event named MESA is held by the mechanical branch.

Good college overall but it definitely needs a lot of improvement.
Placements: Placement for mechanical engineering students is just above average. This is because many students choose off-campus placements. But around 80 to 85 percent of students who choose campus placements get placed. Well-known companies keep approaching, but the package is also quite average at about 6 lakh to 10 lakh per annum on average. Top roles consist of on-field managers to department heads. Overall the rating can be considered above average.
Infrastructure: Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering and Research Centre offers a very great quality and type of infrastructure. Anything that students demand with unity is made available in a few months or sometimes even weeks. It can be basic lab materials or even a whole lab setup. There is a lab for every single subject that is in the 4-year syllabus, and also the labs are very updated. One great fact is that the whole college is kept so clean. Every class, lab, floor, and campus is always kept clean by the maintenance team.
Faculty: The faculty is supportive but also not that good. There is not a very good understanding between faculty members and the students. Their teaching quality is also not that great. But it's average. We as students have to take extra efforts in studying, and hence even the exams feel more difficult. But the faculty does its best to help out. Pass percentage is also around 60 to 70 percent.
Other: I think faculty members can behave better with students, and I also think there is a missing link between the faculty and the management. Because the management is so good, but the faculty members are not. Events are great, but very few events take place. On the other hand, students have many chances to participate in various competitions at the state, zonal, or even national levels, and that too in any field. Campus crowd is also very good and sophisticated.
