Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management has not prescribed any syllabus for hospitality entrance exam. However, candidates can consider studying the below-mentioned topics in the article and tips to perform well in GNIHM JET. Candidates are required to consult relevant periodicals and books for preparing for the JET test. Candidates would not be allowed to carry any piece of paper or articles or book apart from the GNIHM JET Admit Card in the Examination Centre.

Candidates are advised to solve chapter-wise questions to prepare for the Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management Jis Entrance Test. To complete preparing the syllabus, solve GNIHM JET previous year question papers.

Preparation strategy for GNIHM JEE that might help you 1.General knowledge: Most questions are based on topics related to hotels and food industry. You'll find these questions on the internet easily. For the other questions follow the daily news and note down information in points. 2.Maths and Reasoning: You could refer to practice books like Arihant for these. The questions of Maths are pretty basic and are not usually a hassle. Some mental ability questions may seem tricky. An hour of practice every day for a month or two would suffice. 3.English Language: For questions related to Vocabulary, I would suggest you read a lot of books and newspapers. Note down the words which you do not understand and find the meanings in the dictionary. 4.Aptitude for Service Sector: These questions do not require any practice and are usually framed to check of morality and courteousness of the candidate. Just be sensible and choose the option which seems the best to you.

The eligibility criteria are different for UG and PG level courses offered at Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management. The eligibility criteria for PG courses are such that aspirants should hold a graduation degree from any stream. GNIHM offers a Diploma in Hotel and Hospitality Operation at both the UG and PG level. No, GNIHM JET Exam is not an open-book exam. Candidates must note that the GNIHM JET exam consists of 60 Marks Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with no negative Marking. Candidates will be asked questions from General Knowledge, General Intelligence, and General English. Candidates will get one hour to complete the exam. In order to secure admission in BHSM and BHMCT courses, candidates need to clear JET Examination that is conducted by the college. For BSc in Hospitality & Hotel Management (H) and MSc/MBA Hospitality and Hotel Management, aspirants need to clear JET Entrance Examination.
