The college is great overall and thus it is one of the best in West Bengal.
Placements: My batch is still in the middle of the course and we will pass out in 2025. Basically, the top recruiting companies that come to our college are many, like Oberoi, Taj, Leela, Hilton and many more foreign brands with foreign postings with a good package.
Infrastructure: In facilities, we have labs for all the courses as well as for all the departments: 4 labs for food production, 4 labs for food and beverages, 1 lab and 1 suited room, 1 twin bedroom for the housekeeping lab and 2 rooms for front office practical. We have a library but its not a public library. WiFi is available only for computer labs. The facilities of the hostel are not that good, as the public washrooms are mostly dirty, foods are sometimes not good, and rooms are spacious but have only single fans. We don't have any medical facilities as such, and yes for sports, we have good facilities like a badminton court and a ground for all the outdoor games.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best part of our college; they are very supportive and help us in every aspect, especially the students. They give their best to push us to another extent and learn new things. Our faculty members are highly qualified. The teaching quality is also top-notch. Yes, this course is curriculum-relevant. Yes, this makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult in the college. Questions are kept easy to medium level yet sometimes they get hard but it is not a big deal to score good marks if one has studied and has the basics cleared.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue my career in hotel management and this is the best course one can have. My main motive is to study the entire hotel, not just a single department, although my area of interest is kitchen. Things they could improve in this course is to increase the number of practicals and eliminate those subjects which are irrelevant to the course, such as " geographical studies " and " introduction to cultural studies." Events and activities are okay but it should not hamper the academics of the students; they mustn't engage themselves 20 days of a month in a particular event. That should be reduced totally.

Very good infrastructure to be in.
Placements: In our course, almost every student have placements from campusing. They have always offered very high packages. Many top recruitment companies like Taj, Oberoi, ITC, Hyatt come here for recruitment. Almost 99% students got internship from top companies.
Infrastructure: Excellent facilities and infrastructure have been provided for students during the course. Classrooms are very organized and world class library infrastructure with various types of books is available. Sitting arrangements are very good. Hostels are very good with wi-fi connection.
Faculty: As far as teachers are concerned, they are very knowledgeable and qualified with experience. They always used to help us in the class and outside the class and gave us a lot of time with energy. Very good students and teachers relations are maintained. Semester exams are held at the right time, which help us to grow.

Good college with good faculty, placements and amenities.
Placements: Almost all my classmates got placements in hotel and hospitality sectors like in Taj, Westin, Hyatt, Nike, UCB, Mayfair, Le meridien etc. for hr manager, fnb manager, front office, kitchen, spa, with an average package of INR 3 to 3.6 LPA. All our seniors got good placements and I hope we get the same.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, Practical labs, Library are available. Individual bed, cupboard, study table, with 4 times food, separate hostels for girls and boys inside and outside of campus are there. Badminton, basketball court, football, cricket ground and ample space to play are there. Food available is healthy and good enough for all people to eat.
Faculty: The teachers were really helpful, knowledgeable and had answers to all my questions, and also shared online and offline resources. Course curriculum is mostly practical which makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are based on whatever is taught in the class if you are prepared.
Other: I chose this course because of fees affordability and it is near my home. Events and fest happens in every 2 months. A few days back we had wfc and iris, international and intra college competitions .
