Decent college with room for improvement in infrastructure, facilities, and more.
Placements: As of now, there have been no placements in the course due to the absence of a graduation batch. The course has approximately 240 students, with 120 students in each classroom. Since there are no placements yet, data on the highest, lowest, and average packages is unavailable. Some seniors have secured internships at the start of their third year. Internship opportunities are present, but comprehensive data on companies and roles is not available.
Infrastructure: The college is equipped with basic facilities, offering Wi-Fi, well-maintained labs, and classrooms. The college also has a canteen providing food options for students. There are no hostel facilities or sports grounds, and medical facilities are available nearby.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and provide adequate support. The teaching quality is decent, and the curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are moderately difficult, with a 40% pass percentage. More practical exposure and industry connections would enhance the overall learning experience.
Other: I chose this course for its career relevance. The faculty is knowledgeable, but more industry exposure is needed. The campus is lively with events, good connectivity, though improvements in the surroundings and sports facilities would enhance student life.

    This college is absolutely good.
Placements: I am studying in Guru Tegh Bahadur for the centre in an engineering college, and the placement cell and training cell of this college are good enough to get internships. There are many students of the 3rd year and 2nd year who applied for internships and got them. If I talk about the management of this college, it is not that good because of the students in the college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is good and Wi-Fi connections are not available. Wi-Fi connections are available in the campus of this college and libraries are also available. But the book bank of this college is not that much because they always irritate us by not providing the books. And the medical faculty of this college is quite good and sports and games complex are also always available.
Faculty: Faculty of this college is knowledgeable and they are well-qualified teachers, but the students are not able to understand the teachers and because of a lack of teaching skills, sometimes make them fail, but the teachers are not trying to fail the students you always support.

I regret taking admission in Gtb4cec.
Placements: In Guru Tegh Bahadur 4th Centenary Engineering College (Gtb4cec), the first 4-year B.Tech program was launched in 2022, so there is zero pass-out batch in 2024 (when I'm writing this). Hence, I do not have the actual data for the placement ratio. Still, we can expect it will be around 30-40%. We can expect top companies like TCS, HCL, Infosys, Wipro, etc., to come for recruitment. There is zero batch placement in 2024, so we cannot say what roles will be offered by the companies. Roughly, I can say that the roles offered are software engineer, IT analyst, front-end developer, Java developer, etc. The prediction for placement packages by the college's placement cell is around 3 LPA to 12 LPA. In 2024, there are no internship opportunities at the college.
Infrastructure: In Gtb4cec, there are two blocks of buildings on campus. Both are 4-story buildings. One building is dedicated to classrooms, and the other one is for labs, workshops, and a library. All labs and the library have fast Wi-Fi internet connectivity, while all rooms, labs, and the library are fully air-conditioned.
Faculty: The teachers are highly helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their expertise in the subject gives us cutting-edge knowledge in our respective subjects. They explain things clearly and make learning interesting. The quality of teaching is very good, and they really care about helping students do well. Overall, the teachers and faculty are very nice :) The course curriculum is not very relevant and does not make students industry-ready. It lacks up-to-date information and practical skills needed for today's job market; as a result, students are not well-prepared for their careers. The semester exams are moderately difficult. They are challenging but manageable with proper study. The passing criteria require you to score 40 marks out of 100 in each subject, which is fair and achievable for most students who put in reasonable effort.
Other: I chose the B.Tech program in Computer Science Engineering because I have a deep interest in computer science technology. The best thing about my course is the hands-on projects and the opportunity to learn the latest advancements in the field. The course really fuels my passion. I wish to improve the overall curriculum that teaches us all valuable skills required to be industry-ready. The current curriculum is so outdated today that it should be improved by restructuring the courses to make students industry-ready. Events and fests: Events frequently happen in college like workshops, seminars, and webinars with guest lecturers. But the fest happens only once a year. The campus crowd is negligible because only two batches are studying on the campus in 2024. Connectivity is not very bad; the nearest metro station is around 2 km away, and another metro station is 4 km away. The nearest bus stand is around 200 meters away (very close). The campus is surrounded on two sides by household buildings and on two sides by the roadside. Scholarships are not available, but a scheme for EWS category students can apply for a scholarship. Extracurricular activities are promoted by the college, like sports, clubs, societies, etc.

Poor Infrastructure, but good faculty and crowd.
Placements: This college was known as Guru Tegh Bahadur Polytechnic Institute. Three years ago it was changed to Guru Tegh Bahadur 4th Centenary Engineering College. So, there have been no placements until now. There are many societies/clubs to join and good social exposure.
Infrastructure: Faculty members here are good to you as long as you are good to them. No hostel is available here. The ACs are okay, but not very cool, and the labs here are a bit small. The canteen food is good. I recommend trying the cold coffee once you join this institute. Many options are available. No grounds are available, only one basketball court.
Faculty: The semester exams are not too tough if you study well. The teachers are well-experienced. They are very helpful if you show them an interest in studying. As I said, there are no placements yet, so I am not sure if they make students placement-ready. But we hope for the best and let us wait for our first batch to get placed with amazing packages.
Other: I took this course because I was interested in Ai and Ml domain. The quality of education I would rate is 3.5/5.

Good college despite low JEE rank!
Placements: This college was recently upgraded to an engineering college in 2023, affiliated with GGSIPU. Previously, it was a diploma college. Consequently, there are no placement statistics, but the placement cell remains active. Regular workshops and seminars take place with reputed organizations for internships, short-term courses, and more. Additionally, we have been informed that GTB4CEC students will be allowed to participate in placements for GTBIT, and the placement cell and records are quite decent for GTBIT.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is not good at all. Moreover, two colleges, GTBIT and GTB4CEC, share the same campus. Frankly, the school campus is much better than this college. However, the locality is good. Behind the college, there is a sports complex, and nearby there are two metro stations. It is also easy to catch buses, autos, and e-rickshaws. There are plenty of places to hang out, including Pacific Mall, Tilak Nagar Market, and cafes, etc. We do have Wi-Fi, but it only works in labs. The classrooms are not that good (desk, chair), but every classroom and lab is air-conditioned. The labs are decent. The library is small and only has engineering books. There are two canteens: a regular one and Mother Dairy. The food quality is good, and there is a variety of food available at a low cost. For sports, the college has partnered with some other schools for sports grounds and courts. There are no hostel facilities; students have to opt for nearby flats or PGs, which are easily available.
Faculty: The faculty is really good. The teachers are friendly, always ready to help, and well-qualified. For internal exams, teachers always give good scores, which is the best part. In fact, they encourage participation in other activities despite attendance. The teaching quality is good, but considering the Indian education system, it's predominantly based on rote learning. The course curriculum is outdated; for subjects like Computer Science, studying abroad would be better. However, for a B.Tech college, it's decent. Today, with tough competition, this course alone is not enough to make students industry-ready. As engineering undergraduates, more time should be spent on skill improvement. The semester exams are easy to pass, but achieving good scores requires sincerity. Many students also face backlogs in subjects like Maths and Physics. However, with serious attendance, it's easy to score well. Even those who grasp concepts quickly can pass exams within a day. In my batch, most students face backlogs in Maths, while other subjects are easily passable.
Other: My parents have a mindset focused on engineering or medical careers, so I chose this course. Unfortunately, my JEE result wasn't good enough for a prestigious government institute, so I opted for IPU counseling, considering my Delhi domicile. The primary reason for choosing this course is the wide variety and emerging nature of the field. I seek greater emphasis on practical knowledge and improvement. The campus crowd is cool; you just need to find friends. Extracurricular activities are limited, but I engage in them outside college. The main campus fest is a significant event for participation.

Review of Guru Tegh Bahadur 4th Centenary Engineering College.
Placements: As there is not even a single batch that has passed out of our college, there is no information regarding the placement of our college; however, if you are skilled enough, you can get an internship from our college in good companies; however, there are chances that the average placement will be of 6-7 lpa.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not so good, as in a class of 60 students only one air conditioner is there, the classrooms are not painted properly and the benches are also broken. My clothes got torn because of that. Other than that, the library and labs are decent.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and kind towards the students and also very knowledgeable, which encourages us to study and do extracurricular activities. The curriculum of our college is very relevant, as we have subjects like programming and communication skills, which makes us ready for the industries. The semester exams are not that tough if you study a bit regularly.
Other: I didn't choose this college but i didn't have any other choice than this college due to my rank. The best thing about this college is that the teachers and seniors are very generous towards everyone Infrastructure can get a lot better. Events and festivals are very decent and there are numerous numbers of clubs and societies.
