    An above-average college.
Placements: In order to take part in placements in GTBIT, it is necessary for the student to have an average CGPA of 8. The companies look for skill-enhanced students and ask questions that force the students to think out of the box. The teachers also prepare students for these types of questions.
Infrastructure: There are no hostel facilities in GTBIT, but many PGs and flats are available at quite affordable prices with lunch services. All classrooms have ACs, and the labs have a certain number of computers working. The availability of medical facilities is easier due to the location, as one can easily visit the outside market and get any medicine for themselves.
Faculty: Every teacher is very well-educated and very helpful when it comes to asking for any sort of help in terms of education, experience, placements, or anything else. They make students very much aware of the outside world. Semester exams are not tough if attention is paid in class. Passing is 40% in exams.
Other: College life is not very much as one can expect, as the campus is not very large, but the area it is situated in is excellent. The crowd, the neighborhood, and there are no connectivity issues of any sort. Events and fests keep happening, like Diwali celebrations, Dandiya nights, Bollywood day, etc.

You can enjoy the college life in this campus, but the only bad thing is the campus area .
Placements: Almost 80–90% of the students get placed in the college based on the CGPA they maintain and the types of language they practice for coding. The highest packages go to 15-20 LPA and the average package offered is 7-8 LPA. Almost every student gets an internship in many companies and top recruiting companies are Mobikwik, Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is very small and does not have good ground for the sports and the college does not have any hostels. You need to opt PG but the canteen is on a scale of average. We don't have any grounds or courts for the sports so you need to practice it on your own or you need to go to the sports complex near by.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty are very good and decent in the college. They teach almost every necessary thing for the exams and the exams are held in the two parts, the mid-semester-1 and the mid-semester-2. One in the first week of October and the second in the second week of November.
Other: I chose this course because AI is ruling the world and the jobs and placements in computer science are increasing day by day and the only thing I want in the college to be improved is the campus. The campus is very small. It needs to be increased and the fests and events happen in a very good way and every activity and event happens here.

Dissatisfied with classes as well as the infrastructure.
Placements: The average package provided by the college is not that good. Very few students get high packages. The placement rate is average. High-paying companies such as Amazon only select 1-2 students, not more than that. Most backed companies visit the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good. It's an old infrastructure. Classes do not only have fans. Classrooms need maintenance. Lifts on campus are not in working condition. Buildings also look quite old. The ground is small. Washrooms need maintenance too and walls are dirty.
Faculty: You have to study yourself. Don't depend on the college classes. There is no issue of attendance at all; you will not be departed or fined for attendance. Mid-semester exams are usually not that tough. There are not many loads for assignments. Don't depend on the teacher for your studies or classes. Most of the time, classes get cancelled.

Decent college with growing placement and supportive faculty.
Placements: Placement is not so good here. But from this year on, more and more companies are reaching out but the package is not too good. Top roles that are being offered are usually Software Developer positions. The highest package offered is Rs 32 lakhs and lowest is Rs 4 Lakhs based on last year's data.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okayish—not that good and the campus is big but a very great college in terms of people here. There is no day boring for you and you do receive facilities like W-Fi. Classrooms are great too with ACs present and college also have a canteen and a mother dairy with good quality food.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are highly qualified and helpful, offering both theoretical knowledge and practical insights that make learning engaging. Semester exams are fair and moderately challenging, with a high pass rate. Regular class attendance makes them manageable.

Read that first if you are aiming for GTBIT college.
Placements: For placements, you need at least more than 80% throughout your B.Tech. If you want to get into this college, for the general category, you should have at least under a 310,000 rank for the ECE branch. Top companies for our course are Airtel. The highest package was around 14 LPA CTC, the lowest was around 4 LPA CTC, and the average package is 4.5 LPA CTC. Almost 25% of students were placed in Airtel, Lutron, and Hiremi.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not so good; they have allocated only 2 buildings for B.Tech students. If you ask me about the area of the college, it is around 3 acres. There is no playground at Guru Teg Bahadur Institute of Technology.
Faculty: I don't like the faculty at GTBIT. I mean, they are not rude, but they don't have enough knowledge of the real world or the practical aspects. Specifically, if I talk about the HOD of the ECE department, they do not even focus on the placement of their own department. There are two exams arranged by the university per semester: one is the mid-semester exam, and the other is the end-semester exam. You can easily pass these exams by studying Aakash books.
Other: I chose this course and college because it was the best option I was getting at my rank, which is around 290,000. ECE is the department where you can choose, at the placement time, whether you want to sit for non-teaching companies or teaching positions as well. Things I want to improve in my course include practical knowledge of the real world, such as teaching us what the industry wants from us, and improving placements in the ECE department. There is no space for any events or fests, so you have to rely on the main campus and some other engineering college fests.

    Placements need to be improved.
Placements: The placement cell is not fully developed in the college. The college is only able to provide placements to 75% of students. The highest package offered is 13 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Internships are offered to those students who have good grades and attendance.
Infrastructure: Just Okok facilities are being provided to us, like classrooms, libraries, Wi-Fi, computer labs, etc. The hostel facility needs renovation, and medical facilities are not available at the college. The food offered in the mess and canteen is of good quality.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are qualified and experienced, but the rest of them are not very experienced. Both of them are easily approachable. The course curriculum is relevant, but the lectures only tick the boxes. In exams, we need 40% to get promoted.
