A small review by a student .
Placements: Around 75–80% of students were placed last year. The highest package is INR 44 LPA. The lowest package is INR 18 LPA. The average package is INR 7–8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Amazon, and HCL. No internship was provided for students. Most roles are as desktop workers.
Infrastructure: Decent infrastructure is there. There is no hostel at our college. There are so many PGs around the area. So the outside Delhi students can live in PGs. The prices for that are quite decent. The availability of food is there like the lunch boxes, they are available in our area.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified with very much knowledge, and the staff is very good. Though the curriculum is not that good, it will be good if you self-study for the upcoming joining. The exams are not that hard, and you can score well. The pass percentage is around 90–95 percent.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to gain more knowledge about information technology. The best thing is that after 5–10 years, there will be a digital world, and we will be able to stand with the information. I wish that the infrastructure would get better and that the campus would be bigger. It will help us focus more in college. Some events are there. The campus crowd is good. No ragging at all. The Sikh crowd is in the majority. The college is in Rajouri Garden. Around 1.5 km away from the metro station of Subhash Nagar and 2.5 km away from Mayapuri metro station. The college has a campus, but not a big one, obviously, because the whole campus is 5 acres.

Our college offers good placement opportunities to everyone.
Placements: Around 50 out of 60 students in our college were placed in on-campus placements, and the remaining were placed through off-campus placements. We have some of the top companies arriving at our college like Amazon, Wipro, Airtel, Paytm, etc. for internships and full-time employment. Last year, Amazon provided the highest salary package of around 35 LPA. Top companies like Infosys come in for mass recruitment with a salary package of around 3-3.5 LPA. The average salary package is around 4-5 LPA. Our college has tied up with prepinsta and pepcoding to provide us training for jobs and internships too.
Infrastructure: There are not many facilities at our college. Only 4 buildings are available, and among them, 1 building is owned by Polytechnic. There is no playground available in our college. The college sports teams have to practise in the Hari Nagar sports complex. We have a not well-maintained canteen. To eat some fast food, one must go outside of the college premises. The library is good. Almost all the books are available in the library. Even those who are preparing for the GATE or CAT exam can find some good books in the library. The books are in good condition. There is no hostel facility. Outsider students have to live on rent or take PGs.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good. They have great knowledge of their respective domains. The teachers were good but lazy, which means classes were not done on time. At the end of the semester, the teachers told us to study on our own. Every Sunday there is a live seminar in the auditorium about the latest technologies for placement. When a semester starts after 40 days, mid-sems will start. The exams were completely from a book called Akash (previous year's question papers). So students study this book for exams. The same condition is applied to the end of semester exams. Nearly 70% of the exams came from Akash. As a result, almost all students will pass their exams. The pass percentage of our college is 40%.
Other: I only took this course because the placement is good for computer science. A dedicated placement cell is there to give us on-campus placement. The canteen must be improved in this college. There is a fest called Gates, but I haven't attended any fests due to the pandemic, so I can't tell you about that experience. There are no scholarships are available for this college. We have to submit our fees in one go. If you can't submit fees in one go then the finance dept will help you there. You can give fees in instalments.

Campus placements are average
Placements: Campus placements are average here, no big companies come for placements. Only one of the FAANG company that is amazon is seen hiring that too only 3-4 students in an entire batch. The average package is around 3-4 lpa which is very less. Service based companies are more often seen recruiting here than product based companies.
Infrastructure: Good quality computer labs for computer science students but lack of extra curricular activities or the space to do them. There is no sports ground on the campus, although there is a sports complex next to the college where students go to enjoy sports and the canteen is only average with average food. Classrooms are big and spacious but no AC in the classrooms and it gets too hot in the summers.
Faculty: Teachers are excellent, highly qualified and very helpful. The teaching is very good and punctual and the curriculum is good for computer Science, a little more hands on experience or practical experience would make it better. Overall learning experience is good and marks are easily achievable.
Other: I chose computer Science and I was somehow satisfied with the course, teachers and the overall experience because I had no high expectations. The annual fest of GTBIT happens once in two years and it a great sight and very good, they should do it every year. Campus is small but clean plus there are many extra curricular societies which one can join as per their interest like drama, dance, tech/non-tech societies. The campus life is average and there are no facility of hostel.

Satisfied with the faculty, average placements, good infrastructure and facilities nearby.
Placements: Students of batch 2021 got placed in Amazon with 32 LPA, Oracle with 28 LPA, Directi with 27 LPA and Amazon AWS with 19 LPA. Some of the students got PPOs at Amazon. Recently, students of batch 2022 got placed in Josh Technology with 10 LPA, and most of the students got placed in ZS Associates.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is above average. The classrooms have AC and good furniture. Labs are good and have Wi-Fi. The mechanical lab has good machines. Chemistry lab, physics lab, computer lab and all other labs are clean and well-equipped. The library has AC, Wi-Fi, and many books. Apart from the library, a book bank is also available for students to get semester books.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified. Most of them PhD holders. Every teacher is quite supportive and helpful at every step. The teaching quality is above average. Some of the core subjects are relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are above average. If you attend all classes, you will be able to get good marks.
Other: I chose computer science engineering because I am interested in it as I had C+ subject in my 12 class, which made me interested in this course. The best thing about my course is programming. After gaining a good command in DSA, we can easily get a job for an SDE role. The campus crowd is good. We have only B.Tech in our college, and this year, 2 other courses are added, i.e., AI and data science, and AI and machine learning. Connectivity is good as it's located in the market. DTC bus stop and metro station are nearby. The college has many societies like GDSC, DLC, GTBIT finishing school, Divine Circle, IEEE, Natya, Ashke Bhangra etc. Scholarships are provided to minority students based on income via the e-district website.

It is an average college to take admission in B.Tech.
Placements: The minimum number of companies visit here to offer placements for students. Many companies interviewed students who passed in all years without any backlog. Companies are not good at providing salary packages, and they offer the lowest salary of Rs. 12,000 per month. However, it is good to accept. There are staff members who help students to get placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities of our college are good but not excellent. There are an awesome canteen and lovely workers in the canteen. Polytechnic library is very bad here. The greenery in our college is awesome.
Faculty: Teachers here are not excellent but average and work very strictly but do not explain in a language which students understand. The course curriculum is based on AICTE.
Other: Our college organises excellent parties and performances. Many other activities organised here are very good.
