Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2021

It is the best college for commerce students.
Placements: The Placement is not high, like the IIT or any other average college. But they provide a decent opportunity for placements in the banking, financial, and management sector. The highest salary package is 1.5 LPA and the lowest salary package is 3.5 LPA. The company mostly recruits candidates for accountancy, and sales. The top recruiter companies are TCS and some Pvt banks. Around 5-10 % got internships in banks and insurance companies like ICICI Prudential. The top roles are an accountant and sales executive.
Infrastructure: The college is located in Mumbai, but the infrastructure is not big as other popular colleges. As a small campus, there is no issue of lacking space it's a decent space they have. The classrooms are huge and having proper ventilation. They also provide a library and gym which is average. It is one of the best colleges in disciplines.
Faculty: The administration and teaching staff of our college is very cooperative, and always try their best to understand student's problems. They listen to your problems and try to solve them if have any financial problems like late fees. They will understand and give you some time, but they do not force students and put pressure like other institutions.
Other: I opt for B.Com because the course is very basic, and I wanted to be a graduate. The campus is good there is no need to change. The events are very frequent in college there are annual special events on campus that's last about a week, and also they take students to the IV and it's more like a picnic.

I was satisfied with the faculty members.
Placements: It was a minority college for Gujrati people, so the batch has a combination of both academically top students and students who just pass exams. The lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and it depends on interviews. Tata Consultancy firm is the top recruiter for our course. About 30% of students got internships, and I think students should be aware more about college placements. The top role offered here is a team leader.
Infrastructure: There was no public Wi-Fi until my tenure. Classroom facilities are moderate and not advanced. The library is good, and the canteen is average. Medical facilities and sports and games are good. You can play carrom, volleyball and basketball. Every year our college organises an inter-college sports competition.
Faculty: Teachers here were well qualified and experienced. Some teachers were really good at teaching. The course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready, and the entire Indian education system is bad. However, some teachers share with us real-life examples. It is not an autonomous college, so papers were designed by the university. So, it was quite difficult.
Other: Flame event organised in our college is wonderful. Students should participate in it to improve their managerial skills.

The infrastructure of our college is very good because it makes our mind more powerful.
Placements: It is one of the best colleges. Our college invites the best companies for placements. Companies offer the highest salary packages for students, which creates an economic environment. Everything is good. We all are working through Gurukul. I am currently doing a job in TCS, which gives attractive salary packages, and I am learning all the things through Gurukul.
Infrastructure: Everything is good, like the library, canteen and IT labs. All facilities are excellent. The best part of our college is gymkhana. Food is excellent in the canteen. Medical facilities and industrial visits are very good. A ground for basketball and an auditorium are good. The music system is created by our representative.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. They all are disciplinary personalities, which makes a difference between others and Gurukul. Teachers are giving more suggestions apart from studies related to job life, and they also guide us in our career. They are giving more attention to students.
Other: All events are enjoyable for students.

Not much satisfied as not worth the money.
Placements: In our college, almost all the students were placed in some way or another. I would say 95 students were placed. Companies like Jio Reliance, Tata, some LLP firms, and real estate companies are recruiting. The lowest is INR 2.5 LPA, and the highest is INR 5 LPA. The roles offered were mostly for HR positions and sales jobs.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi is available for students; there are labs like computer labs for different students in different places. There is no hostel facility. There is a library, which includes boys and girls as well. Canteens are okay in the sense that they can satisfy hunger but not much else.
Faculty: Teachers are a little aggressive, and qualifying exams are here a bit challenging because the papers are checked strictly and students fail probably if they have not studied really hard for exams. The college is more strict, and the teachers are strict too. A student who really wanted to study is only going to join.

Review of Gurukul College of Commerce.
Placements: Above 80% of the students are eligible for placements only if they do not have any backlogs. Many organisations offer the role of manager staff for the students. The first level salary of a student is Rs. 20,000. Almost 80% of students get placements.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, SRCC is one of the best colleges in the country matching international standards. It is one of the few colleges in the University of Delhi which has upgraded its classrooms to facilitate teaching through modern tools and techniques. The college has centrally air-conditioned classrooms with Wi-Fi-enabled LCD projectors, tutorial rooms, a library, a state-of-the-art seminar room, and a fully equipped auditorium with a seating capacity of over 750 persons. The college takes pride in being a differently-able friendly campus with new ramps, elevators, and special washrooms added to the building. The college has various facilities to address the reading, hearing, and understanding requirements of various students. The SRCC library is an empowering unit with a Resource Centre for Visually Challenged possessing an array of audio-visual aids to assist in the process of self-actualisation. The college is endowed with renovated hostels, medical support systems (along with a physiotherapy center), a modern gymnasium, swimming pool, a huge parking facility (available to both students and faculty), an air-conditioned sports complex, and a playground of international standards. It is a complete smoke and vehicle-free zone. The college provides an eco-friendly environment to its students with the latest initiatives of solar heating, rainwater harvesting, paper recycling, and other green initiatives. The college has taken measures to address the need for vigilance and security. The campus is CCTV-enabled to cater to the safety requirements of a well endowed and equipped campus receiving a huge footfall.
Other: Our college chagres Rs. 16,000 per semester. There are many grants and scholarships available at the college. Scholarships are mainly provided to merit students and lower cast students. This is helpful to many people.
