The college is good and infrastructure is good but the faculty is not up to the mark.

Placements: There is no placement through the college. Only 20% of students are currently working who got a job on their own. 90% of students go for internships and most of the students go in CS or IT but that year students come for mechanical engineering.

The review of GEC College, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.

Placements: Due to a boom of engineering college's, the study level or requirement level are still dropping that's a reason only a few companies visited the campus during my final year. Mostly they are not offering as much expecting salary due to the market requirement or any other reason.

The best college for every middle class family student for completing his dream.

Placements: Just I graduated from Gwalior Engineering College in 2024 and 80 percent of students got placement in B.Tech engineering and the highest package is 6 lacs per annum and the lowest package is 2.4 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Google and Microsoft.

Gwalior Engineering college is not good for all, but it is good for needy.

Placements: There are no placements, and no companies visited this college. They are showing many companies list in this college prospects, but in reality, they did not provide any campus placements in this college. When I joined this college, they will provide NCC or Indian Airforce placements, but all are fake.

The review of GEC, Gwalior.

Placements: Placements of my college are poor. Being a private college, it should provide more efforts in placement cell and inviting companies. But no companies come to college. Being very economical can also be a reason. But since Madhya Pradesh has an open campus, our seniors and also our batch had gone to Bhopal for placements and scored well in other colleges. College didn't provide internship facility at my time might, but it might have changed. We have to do internship at our own.

Gwalior engineering college (GEC).

Placements: Frankly speaking the placements were good if we look at the past, but since due to the family issues of the owner the quality of education here has fallen a lot. Recent placement of my branch happened in Nov 2017, the avg. Package offered was 3.24Lpa. More companies generally don't visit but the local companies from malanpur (industrial area) near Gwalior prefer to hire students from here.

Many placements are offered this year in our college.

Placements: Wipro, HCL, Surya, etc., companies come to the college. There is a very good placement opportunity in Gwalior Engineering College compared to other colleges. Many students have got placed in many companies, so there is a wonderful place for a job opportunity. I suggest you join this college.

Unsatisfied with the placement part, after doing good in exams because didn't get a chance.

Placements: Not a single company came to recruit us, and there are no placements at all in this college. We were good at exams even though we didn't get a chance to get a good job from the starting. Though there is a training and placement cell, i.e., especially for the placements of bright students, we have never heard anyone from my course got placed through it.

It is a very good engineering college for the students who want bright future.

Placements: Seniors placement was good. Approximately, 80% were selected and the maximum salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month. The roles offered by the company were a mechanical engineer. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. It has a placement cell, which is good. It is very efficient. So, the placement is good.

Overall it is a better option for those who want to spend less money or who are financially weak.

Placements: Gwalior Engineering College is one of the best colleges in Gwalior for engineering. It had good placements last year. About 60% of the students were placed in the CS branch, and 40% of the students have placed in the mechanical branch. The students from GEC are also working in PSUs and are serving the country. This year, the placement percentage was more than that in the last year, and we hope for more placements for the future batches. The package for the students was maximum of Rs. 6 LPA which...

An average college under RGTU University Bhopal. GEC has some good faculty and supporting staff. One point to know about this is area in which this college is situated is not very good (out of main city). Some villagers misbehaves and creates problems for students.

My college lacks discipline and quality faculty members. Lot of students are local and always try to suppress other students by indulging in fight and as semesters passes, attendance of students in the class also decreases. Also no strict administration is there to control college activities. No placements occur in college and no efforts are made from the college side in building students career.
