Gyan Ganga Jabalpur college review.

Placements: Placements are very high in numbers in my college. Many brand companies visit our college for recruitment every year, some of them are TCS, Infosys, Emphasis, Wipro, High-tech, Amdocs, Global Logic, Tech Mahindra, Tata Tech etc. The major recruiter for our college is TCS, the maximum number of placements occurs in this company.

I studied at this college, and I am proud of this college.

Placements: Above 300 companies come for placements to the college and a good college for college study! A very good campus for studying with good playgrounds and a seminar hall. I requested to everyone to come and feel its beauty! The college is affiliated with Rajeev Gandhi Prodaugiki Vishwvidyala, Bhopal.

The college has a healthy environment of knowledge.

Placements: The placement rate of my batch was quite good. We have a training and placement cell with which regular sessions were conducted, and information regarding the company was shared. The two major companies with the highest placement rates were TCS and Tech Mahindra. The internal training classes were also provided by the college faculty for intensive preparation. In total, more than 250 students got selected from our batch.

Overall Good Choice for freshers.

Placements: Placement procedure followed in our college was good. For the Batch 2016, about 490 student from all the branches got placement. For Batch 2017, the count was a little low but it have 300-350 + placements. Talking about the salary, the highest package offered was nearly 4.5LPA while the lowest was 2.5LPA. Coming to the average, it was near to 3-3.5LPA. There were companies like Tata Technologies, Tata Consultancy Services, Emphasis, Capgemini, Amdocs, Hinduja Global Solutions, Excellon etc. Came...

It is a decent college but if one wants to enjoy the college life at its peak, then it can a mess.

Placements: There are many companies which visit the campus on a regular basis. Overall placement of the college is decent but not as bright as the student thinks. I am not confirm about the highest Payscale offered to a student on a Bachelor level but one can feel satisfied when working on a fresher's level.

The faculty are very helpful.

Placements: GGCT had tied up with many companies for the placement. Some companies like Tata Tech and Tech Mahindra visited the campus. But, TCS come here to open campus drive. The maximum package goes to 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Faculty guide their students for the campus drive. There was a maximum selection in 2016 batch. In 2017, it was not much good because of some big crises in IT sector. But college is good for placement.

Dissatisfied to a great extent.

Placements: Usually, software companies arrive and offer a salary of about 3-4 LPA. T&P cell is good to some extent. Though the companies recruit students apart from computer science, lower salary is offered. Around 40 placement drives are there each year. We are not trained for creativity in our courses which reflects in our placements. The minimum placement salary is 1 LPA. Many companies like TCS, etc., who used to recruit many students have now realised the actual facilities & training provided to us by...

Our Gyan Ganga at a glance.

Placements: There are good placement chances for mechanical. Tata Technologies, Tech Mahindra and also many other non-mechanical companies recruit mechanical engineers. A considerable amount of students has been placed and a good amount is offered to them. Some of them also has been selected in government jobs due to good training provided in college.

It is a good college in Jabalpur. Excellent faculty, good infrastructure, average placement.

Placements: They were average for my batch and my senior batches. Approximately, 40% of us got placed. The average package was 2.5 lacs per annum. Companies like Hexaware, Persistent, etc. visited. No internship and stipend are provided. There is a placement cell. They also provide training for interviews. Overall, the placements were not that much satisfactory.

Very nice college in Jabalpur.

Placements: Gyan Ganga is one of the leading group of education in Madhya Pradesh. Almost 70 to 80% of the students were placed every year whether you are from core branch or non-core branch. They give an equal chance to everyone. From my senior batch, the highest salary offered was 12 lacs per annum.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: In Gyan Ganga, the campus placement was done in every engineering field, by TCS for CS and IT departments, and Tech Mahindra for mechanical students. The percentage of the students placed was 70-90% per year. The average salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month. Many types of companies visit the college.

Better than others, must visit once.

Placements: There are a huge number of companies that arrive here. The maximum number of placements were there for my batch. The TPO cell was very supportive and helpful. It is better from others among the best institutes. Learn from practical knowledge, not from theories. This college is best from others.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities but the placements are worst.

Placements: The placement of this college is the worst. When we joined the college, they told us for 100% placement. But only 23 students out of 126 are selected till now. We are from technical background. The placement cell is offering only BPO and telecommunication companies instead of IT sector.

College with the best faculty members out there.

Placements: The placement is what makes Gyan Ganga group the most popular college among all the colleges in Jabalpur. NBA and TCS accredit Gyan Ganga. Every year TCS recruits up to 200 students from the engineering only, and in total, the college gives more than 5,000 selections. There is a separate placement cell in our college, and the TPO (Training and Placement Officer) is one of the best TPOs in Madhya Pradesh. In my batch, more than 5000 students were placed, and in my senior batch, more than 3,000 st...

Satisfied with the faculty. You will get placed if you put an extra effort on your side as well.

Placements: In the year 2015-2016, the placements were very good. In fact, in Jabalpur, our college got the maximum placements among private colleges. This was the year when I enrolled in this college. However, in the recent years 2016-2017, relatively, the placements were low. TCS picked only 30 students from CS being the mass recruiter, while it took 300 students from CS in the previous year. The salary offered ranged from 1.50 LPA to 4 LPA. The companies that visited are TCS, Zensar, Excellon, Global Log...

All the things are good in this college.

Placements: It was below average placement for 2013-17 batch. Below 8% students were placed from my batch & were same condition of placement of senior batch. The package was between 1.6 lacs to 3.4 lacs per annum. More than 30 companies visited, but on average, all companies were from computer science sector. Core branch students eagerly waited for their campus, but rarely 2-3 company visited. Dell India, OPM, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Sofcon, Hinduja global services, Internet, Dollar advisers, Indian army, naval...

The placements are good for the passout batch in 2016.

Placements: In 2016, the maximum placement stands at the package of 6 LPA and the minimum at 2 LPA. The senior batch pass out ratio was also the same. The 5-6 companies visited the college for the placement. There is a placement cell, which conducts the aptitude and GD on a regular basis.

A review Gyan Ganga College of Technolgy.

Placements: Our training and placement cell is supportive and gives many opportunities for the campus placement in a reputed company. The various reputed companies arrive at our college every year, but we have to be skilful for fulfilling their selection criteria. Recently, it provided the highest campus selection in the region. The previous year, it provided the good packages to our seniors in Adobe, TCS, Zensar, etc.

Overall, it is up to you on how you want to enjoy and study in the college

Placements: No placement for the core branches but if you want to choose computer science, EC or IT, this college is great for you. There are so many companies which come here for the placements and campus selections, but unfortunately, for civil, electrical and mechanical, no campus placements are there. So if you want to come to Gyan Ganga, choose EC, computer science or IT.

Dwindling condition of engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh.

Placements: The placements for our senior batch were quite average. Only a few top-listed companies visited the college in the last year such as TCS, Tata Tech, Zensar, Amdocs, Global Logic, and Hexaware. Others were Excellon, Mphasis, Inouye, Net2source, and Hinduja. The maximum salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. The average salary package was 3 LPA. Our batch had got very few opportunities until now since only 7-8 companies have visited till-date whereas our super seniors got many good opportunities whic...
