GGCT, a college good enough except for faculty

Placements: There are good placements. Companies like TCS, AMDOCS, Tata Tech, Tech Mahindra, Syntel, Wipro, Infosys, etc. visit the college every year for campus recruitment. These companies come with the aim of selecting some talented students. The major selection for years is in TCS which selected around 210 students in the year 2015-16.

The college is doing great work.

Placements: Many students got placements in various top rated IT companies or software companies according to their overall performance and skill or what is special in them. The packages also depended on the skill and performance. Zensar, Tech Mahindra, Persistant, TCS, HCL, etc.

Think and ask. It is about the future you have planned for.

Placements: I am graduated in the year 2013. I have not visited my college after that, so I am not much aware of any current progress. Since I belonged to electrical and electronics department, we got only a few opportunities to get placed on-campus placements. Companies like Hexaware, Wipro came to our college, and we are offered the role as a software engineer where we are supposed to write and test the codes instead of using our core knowledge. Out of 60 students, only 11 got placed, and when we reached ...

An absolutely life changing opportunity provided in the college. Good placement.

Placements: Our training and placement cell is very supportive and gives many opportunities for campus placement in a reputed company. Recently, it provided the highest campus selection in the region. Previous year, it provided good packages to our seniors in Adobe, TCS, Tata Technology, Zensar, etc.

A feedback of my college.

Placements: The placement in the civil branch is almost 0 percent. No companies have visited the college since last many years. Its only last year that a cement company visited, that too had no remarkable selections. None of the seniors I know got selected on the college campus but most of them got jobs within a year.

One of the best private colleges in Jabalpur.

Placements: Companies like Zensar, Tata Tech, TCS, Prism Cement, Mdocx, etc. come here for placement. Each year, around 200-300 students are placed from all branches but mostly from software field. So CS and EC students have golden opportunities here. But for the core branches like mechanical and civil, not many companies are invited nor many students are selected.

Teachers won't scold you here and you will get good knowledge and an ample of opportunities of extracurricular activity. The college is good but placement wise it totally depends on your luck and how much companies would be coming for campus selection. Teachers are not well experienced but surely you will get good internal marks if you make good relationship with them.

Students at this college are amazing. Everyone is so unique and different that you'll definitely find a lot of people with similar interests as you. Also, everyone is so friendly that you'll have no problem being yourself and fitting in. You can literally go to a random table at lunch and start up a conversation with anyone, and you will leave with a new friend. The culture for learning and growing is phenomenal. And the location cannot be beat when compared to other top-tier colleges. The weat...

I am a 2011 pass-out. Gone through the above comments and found how easily people can blame the college for all their failures. It’s not at all true. What I felt was awesome. I got huge success in my life. I am working for Ericsson Incorporation, USA. The college tries it's best to provide you some placement opportunities but finally it's you who’s going to make a difference on that day. I still visit my college when I am in India, I still meet people and trust me they still treat me as a part...

Gyan Ganga college of technology has a decent campus spread over 6-8 acres. The college is good but there are lots of flaws. Both the boys and girls hostels are available. The hostel facilities are average like other colleges. While a majority of the junior faculty is new and inexperienced, the Head of Departments are experienced and relatively better in terms of teaching. The canteen in Gyan Ganga college of technology is a small one, but is just average in terms of the food options available ...

It is a nice college regarding infrastructure and faculty members. And also it had various cultural activities. But if we talk about placements, that is very average. And the placements are only for main Gyan Ganga students. Overall placements are very limited.

The first thing that you adore is the campus infrastructure. It is well designed and ecologically connected. The surrounding of the college is well maintained and a good view from every floor is an attraction to the eye. The most important thing that any college needs to have is the faculty and my college has always been named for its spectacular faculty. There are near about 100 teaching staff members, excluding the teaching support staff. Our faculty includes more than 10 IITians, Ph.D. hold...
