It is an excellent college.

Placements: In our college, placements are below average. In the previous 2–3 years, there were no campus placements. This is due to the post-COVID scenarios. Top recruiting companies like OIL, ONGC, Cummins, etc., visit our campus. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA to 4 LPA.

Our college is one of the average government engineering institutes.

Placements: There has been no on-campus placement in the last 2 years due to COVID-19. In the past, companies like OIL, ONGC, Cummins, and Siemens hired some of the students on campus. The package is around 2 to 6 LPA. The training and placement cell is very active. There is a high chance of getting a job after completing the course.

It is one of the best and first technical institutes of Assam i.e established in 1927.

Placements: Placements in our college is average if students compare it with the other government polytechnic institutes of Assam. Knowing from our seniors about placements, there are students who gets on-campus placements, but the percentage of students getting placed is less. The average salary offered ranges from Rs 10,000 per month - Rs 15,000 per month. The top recruiter is Cummins, and they are the ones that provides the highest package among the other companies.

Good infrastructure and best campus life.

Placements: Placement opportunities are not that good as this college provides Diploma in engineering. Few tire3 come every year and packages go up to 3.0 LPA only. But this college produces best junior engineers who can easily clear any government exam. Also can go for higher education.

Our college has good infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: Our college does not provide placements for the civil engineering branch but some other branches like electrical and mechanical have a few placements in some private companies. All students of our batch got internships in the government sectors like PWD-Roads, PWD-Buildings, public health engineering departments, etc.
