I miss my college and friends.

My College and What's good about it.

Placements: No placements held that year as the college was closed. Before our batch there were companies like IBM entered our college and placed students. That year only Bhilwara came and took 3 students from computer Science batch. The companies demanded 60 percent and above as qualification criteria for interview.

It was the worst decision of my life.

Placements: Only 2% of students in our course got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 18,000 per month. IBM and some other companies visited the campus. Salary packages offered was not more than 2 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. The recruitment process was only for formality purpose. Students who joined the company for long were less than 1%.

Infrastructure and facilities were good in our college.

Placements: About 10% of the students got placed from our college. The highest salary package of 4 LPA and the average salary package of 2.3 LPA were offered. Honda, Infosys, Dell, Samsung, Maruti, Power Plants and various IT companies are the top recruiters of our college. Operation head is the top role offered. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA in our course. About 80% of the students got internships in companies like Honda and Magneti Marelli.

Review of Haryana College of Technology and Management (HCTM).

Placements: Placements are the highest for my senior batch, but it is average for my batch. It is approximate 47%, and students with above 75% marks were selected. The roles are offered to the students according to their course. Many companies visited the campus for placements, and they offered the package of about 1 LPA to the selected candidates, but that was average.

Nothing good about college but meet a lot of good friends which means a lot to me.

Placements: Our college's infrastructure was quite good but in case of placement there was no placement at all, only BPO companies visited, in short it is the worst engineering college in Haryana. Our TPO's (Training and Placement Officer) behaviour was not good with students too.

It give good knowledge. It provides good practical knowledge. It provides good faculty. It provides all things necessary for students. It is a famous college in Haryana. This college comes under kurukshetra University. This University is under 100 in India.

Good infrastructure, better teaching staff, good scholarships programs.

Placements: The placement was good. 40% of the students were placed during that. The highest salary offered was 3 LPA, and the lowest offered was 1.8 LPA. Companies like Genpact, TCS visited the campus. Students were offered for profiles as an engineer, apprentice in different departments. The internship percentage was 60.

A college with declining placements and events.

Placements: The placement of the college was good till 2010, but after that, due to slum in engineering, the number of students went on decreasing, which also effects placements. For civil engineering, there is no placement in the college. A few companies visit and select the candidates but didn't call them later.

The best HCTM campus among Haryana engineering campuses.

Placements: Earlier, it was really a best-known institute for placements to a big giant in software like Satyam and Tech Mahindra. But in my batch, few companies came for placements that are BPOs like Genpact and one Telecom company, that looks fake as they ask for money after placements. Rest, Indian Army comes every year and hires at least 4-5 candidates. It's not too good from the placement perspective.

A great period of life.

Placements: Many companies came to the college for placements which offered the maximum package of 7 LPA and the average salary offered was 3.2 LPA. Internships were mostly taken care by the students themselves at that time. Mostly were without stipend at that time as most found it tough to get same, don't know about the current status at the college. Ideally, it should be taken care of the college's training and placement office.

Absolutely dissatisfied in each and every respect.

Placements: The college provides zero placement. In short, no placement, no package. They just know how to make fun of the student. There is no company related to mechanical, and the companies like IBM makes fun of students by recruiting at 1 Lacs per annum package. No internship is provided. The college has a placement cell with zero placement. It is not useful.

Extremely bad college with great faculty members without any doubt.

Placements: I got placed in Ginger Web. Collebra, followed by few other companies visited for campus placements. I have attended many placement drives in the college, but unfortunately, they all were BPOs except Ginger Web. So, it was really a disappointment to be a part of HCTM Technical Campus. I will not recommend anyone this college, as it is a sheer waste of money and nothing else.

Dissatisfied with the faculty and the placements are poor.

Placements: There are no placements at all. Just some call centre companies came for placements which give a package of 90k per annum. Professional or reputed companies do not come for placement. The placement of the college is very bad. You have to find the job by yourself, and the college will not help you after your course completed.

Faculty were good in the civil department. Infrastructure is brilliant

Placements: The placement is not good for civil engineers and is also not good for rest of the branches. I am not happy with placements as only some companies came for placements and gave a salary of around 10,000 to 15,000 per month. You have to compromise with placements if you take admission here.

Best infrastructure. Placement is not good. Some teachers are helpful, some are not.

Placements: The placement is not good. In my class, only 20% students got placed. And finally, only a few of them got the final offer letter from the company. The salary is equal to that offered for BPO services. Only a few of the companies came for placement. Most of them were just for passing time. They took the test and it was checked by the students, not by company people.

Overall, good in terms of infrastructure but poor in terms of placements

Placements: The placement is not very good. Only a few companies come here for placements. In my class, only 2 boys got campus placements. The salary is 10,000 to 15,000 per month after placements. Companies like Collabra, TCS, etc. come here. Campus placement is not good. In campus placements, companies take a written test and these tests are checked by students so you can guess how good is placement.

Totally dissappointed because of placements.

Placements: Zero placement in this college for Mechanical Engineering students. Neither the seniors nor the juniors got campus placements. Worst engineering college in terms of placements. An engineering college without placements is nothing. I would never recommend this college to any of the students.

Satisfied with the college.

Placements: Every year, lots of ISO companies visit my college and lots of student get placement. When I was in college, Dell, as well as some other companies offered a high salary package. Last year, my friends got an offer by Dell. They got a high position and at the present time, they got a transfer to Dubai.

HCTM is not the best college. It is the only engineering college in the city.

Placements: Very few placements are taking place and students who got selected in few companies by following writing test and the personal interview hasn't been offered a job letter. The highest salary offered to a student was Rs. 25000 per month and the job is in Mumbai. The role which was offered to the students was that of junior engineer. The percentage of students who got an internship from the college is zero. The lowest stipend offered was Rs. 10000 per month. The percentage of students who were pla...
