There weren't any placements that happened, and this scenario is very similar to the usual trend with B.Com colleges.

Insights of Heramba Chandra College.
Placements: Around 80% of students were placed in this course, with starting salaries ranging from INR 20,000 to 4,50,000 Indian rupees. In my college, the average salary for this course is INR 30,000 rupees. There are fewer internship and placement opportunities available. Top roles achieved from this course are chartered accountant or cost accountant.
Infrastructure: This college has smart boards in the classrooms, which makes learning more interactive and engaging. The library is very helpful, providing all the necessary books and notes at a very low price. The classrooms are clean and well-ventilated, and the canteen serves decent food at reasonable prices. There is a hospital within 200 meters of the college, and the college also offers opportunities for extracurricular activities and sports.
Faculty: The teachers at Heramba Chandra College are very helpful and qualified. However, some of them can be rude and unhelpful. Classes are also irregular sometimes. This course is designed to prepare students for the corporate world. The exams are not very difficult, but the questions can be tricky.
Other: I chose this course because it is considered the core of any commerce student. As we are the first batch in this CCF format, many new things have been added that we don't feel are of any exceptional betterment. The college often arranges events and fests. Scholarships are available if students can maintain 60% marks per year.

Pros and Cons of Heramba Chandra College.
Placements: The average percentage enrolled for the admission in our college is 80% and the minimum ranges between 75-70%. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Wipro, Bajaj Allianz, etc. But the overall placements structure of the college is not so good.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is fine, the classrooms are quite big and the library provides most of the essential books, but the labs are not well maintained which causes hindrance for the students. Overall, the campus is fine and the location of the college is very good.
Faculty: The teachers were quite helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good but the classes are held rarely. Most of the time, the classes are not conducted due to various issues. The course curriculum is very relevant and it makes the students industry ready. The exams are quite tough and are held every 6 months.
Other: The campus life is very good, full independence is provided to the students in the campus. A students union is also there to look after the students welfare (not so helpful). The campus surrounding is a very busy area. Events are very rarely held in this college.

Best commerce college in Kolkata .
Placements: Around 5% of B.Com students get placement from our college. The highest package offered was 8 LPA, the lowest package was 1.8 LPA, but the average package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are PricewaterhouseCoopers, Grant Thornton, Deloitte, Tata, etc. Only about 3%–5% of students from B.Com get internships from our college at Ernst & Young, KPMG, Accenture, and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Our college has 4 to 5 Wi-Fi connections, and they are available all the time. The classrooms are big enough for 200 students at a time. The classrooms are spacious and airy. Our college has 2 libraries, but the problem is they only have old syllabus books. Our college has no hostel facility. Our campus has a cheap canteen for students, but the canteen provides average food.
Faculty: As our college is affiliated with Calcutta University, we have great and efficient teachers and professors. All the teachers are highly qualified and have great teaching skills. This course curriculum is relevant for those who want to pursue CA, CMA, CS, or M.Com in the future. After passing this course, students can cope with real-life workplace scenarios. The semester exams are really difficult at Calcutta University. The pass percentage varies around 60%.
Other: I have chosen this course because I will pursue CMA in the future. This course provides in-depth knowledge and skills in the commerce field. Things to be improved in this course are that the pass percentage should be increased and the course duration should be reduced to 3 years.

Well-Rounded Education with Strong Faculty at Heramba Chandra College
Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course is 65%. Top recruiting companies include those from the banking sector, industries, TATA, etc. The highest package offered is 3,500,000 per annum, and the lowest is 200,000 per annum. Approximately 60% of students receive offers in the banking sector.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are spacious and equipped with modern teaching aids. Each room features multimedia projectors, smart boards, and comfortable seating arrangements to facilitate interactive learning and discussion. The Wi-Fi provides high-speed connectivity that covers all academic and common areas.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members hold advanced degrees, including PhDs and professional qualifications. The curriculum is frequently updated to reflect current industry trends and practices, covering topics like digital finance and e-commerce. The difficulty level can vary depending on the subject.
Other: I chose this course because I have a passion for accounts and finance, which offers great career opportunities in banking, marketing, accounting, and more. I hope the campus will improve, as currently, it attracts only smaller companies.

Review of Heramba Chandra College.
Placements: The placement facility in the college is average. A student is eligible for campusing in 3rd year. Various companies like TCS, HDFC Bank, Bajaj, etc. came for campusing and various small internships are also provided. The average package is 6-7 LPA
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is good. Even though the area is small, the campus is beautiful and clean. Two computer labs are there. Two libraries are their with a variety of books for all courses. The classrooms are like the old colleges, only with big windows. Each classroom has a blackboard and a projector.
Faculty: Most of the teachers hold an M.Phil. or Ph.D. degree. All the teachers are knowledgeable and well trained. The teachers are always there to help and guide the students, and they also provide offline tuition. The B.Com course is not practical, but yet it creates a strong base for the students and gives them vast knowledge regarding various aspects of business, which helps the students in their higher study. The semester exams have a difficult level of moderate to high. These exams are held every six months. One should prepare well to score good marks. The pass percentage is above 40%.
Other: B.Com gives a wide knowledge about the various aspects of the business and creates a strong base for higher study. According to me, along with the theoretical knowledge, some practical work should also be involved to help the student understand the practical world. Various events are organized, such as Rabindra Jayanti, Teachers Day, and Independence Day. Various sports events are conducted inside the college. The college also participates in various intercollege competitions. The annual festival is conducted in June or July and freshmen in November or December. Extracurricular activities are given importance.

I am glad to share my college experience.
Placements: If you are from commerce background then you will get admission in B.Com course. Last year, none of the students got placement from my batch. If you get 75 or higher than 80% then you can get internship. Basically after B.Com you can work any under the accountants or small CA firm.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good and many useful books are available in the library. They provide decent quality of food. Some may like the mess food or some may hate it. It depends on the how students treat the food.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students ready for the industry. All the teachers are well educated and knowledgeable. They also help in every hard situation. All other teachers are very helpful. Our college is under Calcutta University so the questions are a little tough. The passing marks are 30%.
