It is the best college for studies with good infrastructure.

Infrastructure: Food served in the mess is good. The quality of the hostel is good. Our college has good atmosphere and surroundings. It has good infrastructure and facilities. Our college has its hospital, which provides new exposure to students.

Review of Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences.

Placements: Around 100% of students are placed and salary packages are offered depending on their abilities. Any hospital can recruit students. Internships are also available for students.

According to me, the college is really good, but placements are not as satisfying as expected.

Placements: In my course, the number of students is around 4000 or more, though I haven't counted exactly. I don’t know much about the current placement situation, but around 70% of students seem to get placed. Top roles include internships, and other focus activities were performed in this course to help students learn more.

Our college is the best in Uttarakhand.

Placements: Around 99% of students are placed. Maximum students get placements when they are doing internships. The salary ranges between Rs.40,000 to 50,000 per month. The role offered is radiation therapist.

Good for MBBS course but takes a lot of fees and hostel and mess is not good enough.

Placements: With an MBBS degree you will get 100 % placement, so don't need to worry if you do MBBS from here. MBBS is a course where you get a degree with which you'll never be unemployed. If you get an MBBS degree from anywhere you can have your private setup or you can work for a private or government hospital.

Greatful that I was a part of this place. Absolutely great place to learn.

Placements: The package amount depends upon skills you develop during your training period. This institution is full of opportunities to learn more than basics. I am currently working independently and it's very difficult to work like that just after your senior residency. Greatful that I was the part of this institution.

Good MBBS college in north India.

Placements: The placement criteria in my college are just amazing. But, you need to have potential in yourself if want a good placement. Many opportunities are offered to deserving students. The highest package has been 12LPA and the placement percentage is 75%. There are many companies that come to hire capable students and many posts are available according to your interest.

Everything is good if you want to study, but college life isn't interesting.

Placements: MBBS programme does not offer placements. The internship can be done either from the same college or in other hospitals across the nation. Exposure within the curriculum provided to us is top-notch in the zone as compared to other colleges.

Best Academic environment, Average extra activities, Good Overall.

Placements: Since the placements are not a major attraction for post-MBBS students, placements are hardly given any acknowledgment. However, since most of the students opt for postgraduate qualification after their MBBS, the course syllabi and style of teaching is strongly inclined towards training and coaching for NEET (PG). Special MCQ points, High yielding topics are given special preference.

The faculty and infrastructure are good, but a bit strict, and it is a good place to gain knowledge.

Placements: This is a good college with lots of work experience during posting. The faculty members are good and experienced. Most of the students get selected for good college for PG in one year of completion of an internship. The previous year students did well in PG exams. Some students also cleared PG exams just after an internship.

The location of college is peaceful and weather is quite pleasant. Consultant in clinical field give lectures just to complete their job although with few exceptions. The administration is least concerned with co-curricular activities. Don’t expect much in the sports area. College has mess facility but it is above average at most of the time. Attendance in this college is strict. The academics are still better than many other private institution.

Review of Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences.

Placements: In this college, placements are not important after graduation, hence it is not provided by the college. They provide placements in other fields. BASLP is just an undergraduate course that provides base only. Our course comes inside allied health workers.

Teachers are helpful and interested in educating.

Placements: In our profession, there is no placement as such but it is one if the best college in north india in private. You can get job anywhere after your MBBS as JR or medical officer in Uttarakhand or outside. Prepare for further studies like NEET PG for specialisation.

The college needs to improve the infrastructure and the number of faculty members.

Placements: We didn't get placement like that in engineering. We had our internship included in our degree. After that, we can do a job anywhere or apply for a post-graduate course. NEET PG to get into the PG course was there in this college. Rotatory internship/externship was compulsory for MBBS.
