What's new at Himalayan Institute of Technology placements 2022? According to latest media reports, Himalayan Institute of Technology, Dehradun (HIT Doon) successfully concluded the first phase of campus placements with more than 75 companies participating in HIT Dehradun placements 2022. Students in the sixth semester of their respective programmes were offered job roles in Sales, Marketing, IT technical, Agriculture and Hotel Management domains. The highest package offered during HIT Doon placements 2022 was about INR 10 LPA (offered by an Ed-Tech company). Some of the top recruiting companies that took part in the first phase of the campus placements drive included Microsoft, India Mart, Colabra, Dabar, Coca-cola, Taj, TCS, JW Marriot and Hyatt, among many others.

As stated by the placement cell at HIT Dehradun, this year's placement rate would increase by at least 35% as compared to the previous year's placements. Furthermore, the placements drive will witness the participation of tier-one industries offering a CTC of INR 6 LPA to INR 15 LPA. Placements: This course is of 3 years, which contains 6 semesters. You need to maintain above 60% for placements and internships. The top recruiting companies are Wipro and TCS. The top roles offered in this course are data entry operator, finance manager, marketing manager, and so on.
Infrastructure: This college provides well-maintained labs, classrooms, and a library. The facilities in the hostel are good, and the food they provide is healthy and tasty, worth the fee. It also provides Wi-Fi facilities and transportation. Annually, they organize sports and other activities.
Faculty: The faculty are very helpful, qualified, and experienced. They also give deep details related to the course and provide extra classes for personality development of the students to make them ready for the industry. The passing percentage is 33%, like other colleges.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in accountancy and want to make my career in this field. The campus is surrounded by greenery and mountains, providing pleasing weather. They give a 10% scholarship on the basis of their percentage. This college organizes a musical celebrity night every year.

Very Glad that I've joined this College.
Placements: As per 2020 and 2021, during the COVID years, about 85-90% students were placed in top organisations. The top Companies included, Taj, JW Marriott, Hyatt, Sheraton, ITC, JayPee, etc. All students are placed for Internship Training at different Brands including Taj, Marriott, Hyatt, Fairfield, Le Meridien, etc.
Infrastructure: All HM Labs including F&B Lab, Food Production Lab, etc. are available with all the required equipment. Library is available for issuing related books. Wi-Fi Facility in whole campus is available. Basketball Court, Cricket Practise Net, all sports equipments are also available in the campus. The hostel rooms are quite small but the food is Delicious. All medical and households are available nearby.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well educated and well experienced in their fields. They are helpful enough and know the true meaning of knowledge. The Curriculum is too relevant and makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are too easy that 85% students easily pass with great points.
Other: The aim of choosing this course was set in my mind since I was in 8th standard. It was my passion to become an hotelier. The best things about this profession is that you are free to travel, free to eat, and also free to meet and greet new people. The thing that needs improvement is Industrial Visits and the Practical work must be increased to make the student industry ready. The College organises different competitions, sports matches, Fests, etc., time to time to make the student divert mind from the pressure of studies atleast for some time. The campus is at very calm and place full of greens, between the hills of Dehradun, which makes the scenery more attractive and peaceful.

Why choose HIT, Dehradun?
Placements: We have a total of 55 students present in our course. Almost 35 students were placed in many companies. I don’t know about the packages yet but they are placed in well reputed companies. The packages provided in our college are approximately around 3-4 Lacs and the highest can go upto 15 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The campus of our college is very beautiful. The location is very good and the students won't face any problems. The classrooms of our class are very good with nice seating arrangements. There are different types of clubs.
Faculty: The teachers of our course are very well experienced and have good knowledge in their fields. The exams conducted in our college are not tough. Basically there are 2 sessional exams in our course, one internal and one semester end exams which are called external exams.
Other: I chose this course because I have a deep interest in business. The best thing about our course is that it enhances our skills.

I am satisfied with its faculty members.
Placements: Around 97% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Infosys and Collaboration are the top recruiting companies. The top roles offered are financial analyst, marketing head, and HR manager.
Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi for the students has been set up which connects after entering student ID. Students are provided with a library card, and they can issue books free of cost. The classrooms are big. The mess of hostel offers a variety of food, and the taste is good. The canteen is average but it is reasonable. Sports and games are developing slowly in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and they are always ready to help students. They also conduct regular visits to companies, and the PDP sessions make students industry-ready. Exams are difficult for those who do not study. If students focus on their studies then exams are not hard.
Other: I chose this course, because it was my dream to get into the corporate world and BBA is the best course for it. In this college, improvement is not required. This college is online from the previous year, but events like Suresh are conducted.

It is a good college because of the facilities and ?staff members.
Placements: About 30% of the students got placed in well-known MNC companies. Teachers in our college are very supportive. The PDP class also helps students with grooming and preparing for interviews and other interactive activities. Many organisations visit our campus for interviews and placements. Almost 40% of students got placed. The rest of the students go on to higher education.
Infrastructure: Our college has many good facilities like Wi-Fi, a library, a basketball court, an open ground, a sports day, canteen facilities, and transportation. The college is located on the central city side of Dehradun, which makes transportation easy and fast. We also have labs available in our college.
Faculty: The faculty members in our college are very good, and we are able to read and study properly. Each faculty member is very good, and they have very good knowledge of their subjects. They motivate us every time, and they are very helpful. Our college is very good.
Other: The fee structure of our college is feasible, moderate, and affordable. The hostel fee is also moderate. The college provides a scholarship for challenged students and also for other fields. I opted for this college because of its excellent placement history and its atmosphere.

It is the best college for management courses.
Placements: 95% of students got placed. The highest package offered for UG students was 10 LPA, and the lowest package was 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are BYJU's, TCS, Infosys, Collabera etc. Almost all the students got selected for internships with the aforementioned companies. HR manager, accountant and GST intern roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Everything is fine according to our needs. The teachers are very supportive. The infrastructure is still being developed and is already up to the mark. Food items include south Indian dishes, Chinese etc. The staff here in the hostel are very good and supportive as well.
Faculty: The teaching quality of our teachers is unmatched. They can clear our doubts from anywhere they are. They are very supportive and helpful. Students work on various projects and events that help us learn management. I don't know about the exact numbers, but the exams that we appear for are not very hard.
