The infrastructure of our college is not good. The campus is very small.

Placements: For the civil course, there are no placements in our college. Placements are only for computer science students and information science students. From CSE and ISE, the average salary package offered is around 3 LPA to 5 LPA. For CSE and ISE, placements are good here. Most of the students got placed from these 2 departments.

HKBK: Think twice or rather thrice but don't ever join it.

Placements: Placement and HR department are still struggling to get core electrical, electronics as well as civil. Leave mechanical, it's only able to get BPO jobs to our college. CSE and ISE have an average placement facility. As the placement has just begun a few years back there where some tier 1-2 companies are coming to our campus and every department was happy at that time. There is no growth since then. 3-4 years back, there was a standstill period for placement at our college since there was no HR d...

Dissatisfied because of the faculty response to the students.

Placements: They say that the college provides 100% placements, but only a few companies will come to the college. Only two to three companies will come. For the mechanical branch, only one company is coming from past few years. I would give 2 out of 10 for it. I have a bad experience with the placements in the college.

Everything you would like to know before you step in HKBK

Placements: Whereas the placements are good for CS, EC, IS and EEE, there are hardly any placements for mechanical engineering and no placements for civil whatsoever. The average pay package of yesteryear was just above a lakh which for engineering is not great. There are more BPOs and call centers coming in than the actual companies where we would get proper exposure. Amazon, TCS, Mahindra, etc. come in for the placements but it's mainly for their call centers. There's little or no help from the college in...

Not a college for achievers.

Placements: It's a very good college to get placed in IT companies. Don't expect core jobs though. Being mechanical students, many times we had requested the HR department to bring companies for mechanical stream, but they could only bring IT companies to the campus. The placement officers keep changing and by the time they understand the situation, one batch would have unfortunately gone out without jobs.

College is located in a very calm area. And the crowd is pretty good. Coaching is the best thing in the college. All sports activities will be supported by the college. Placement was pretty good for electronics and computer science, but not for mechanical. Overall college is worth for average students.

Join CS and IT Engineering.

Placements: It is hardly 3 percent to 5 percent of students who get placed and that too in IT field after being a mechanical engineer. It is not good in terms of core placements. HR just brings recruitment agencies in the name of companies.

I am dissatisfied because of infrastructure.

Placements: I have completed a degree at this college in electronics and communication. Only 20-30% of the students got placed, and there are no top recruiting companies. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA.

I'm totally dissatisfied with the faculty, infrastructure and the placements as all these are worst.

Placements: The college assures you that it will provide placements, but there are no placements for the civil department students. Only one company visited for civil students, and that too in this year only. Overall, there are no placements in our college. During admission, the college will assure that it will provide 100% placements, but it is not true. So, think before you join here.
