Placements: ICAT Design and Media College have good on-campus placement opportunities for students. More than 100 companies visit campus to hire freshmen. TCS, HCL and KPMG are the mass recruiters for this branch. The highest package is 12 LPA and the average package is 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: ICAT Design and Media College has good infrastructure and hostels are well managed. Mess food is average but affordable. Wi-Fi connections are only available in labs and presentation halls, not throughout the college. The canteen offers various food items at cheap prices.
Faculty: ICAT Design and Media College has a well-defined course curriculum that is up-to-date for current industrial needs. Semester exams are not very tough if students just hone through the notes and books provided by the teacher and faculty members of the college.

Good college for Multimedia.
Placements: ICAT Design and Media College offer good placement opportunities for on-campus placement. Many companies visit for hiring. TCS and HCL are the mass recruiters, which provide a decent package for freshers. More than 60% of students get placed in multimedia courses.

Good college for designing.
Placements: ICAT Design and Media College offers good on-campus placement opportunities for students. More than 50 companies visit campus. VFX is the most well-known course in the college. Apart from that, TCS and JCL are other mass recruiters that hired from campus.
Infrastructure: ICAT Design and Media College have good hostels and infrastructure. Apart from that, there are medical facilities and good indoor and outdoor sports facilities available. Wi-Fi connections are good only in labs and libraries, not in the entire college. Canteen food is cheap.

An okayish college experience.
Placements: Haven't been placed yet but from what I've heard from seniors, not everyone gets placement. It depends on our own efforts too, rather than depending on the college. In our field, portfolio is more important, so its better to develop it early on and apply for jobs off campus as well.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are fully AC and there's Wi-Fi in the campus. The college organizes a ton of fun events to keep everyone engaged and happy. There are no sports facility as of now. College gives students many opportunities to showcase talent in the events they organize.
Faculty: Staff kept changing mid semester in our department due to which we found it difficult to cover basics. Moreover, online classes were a hindrance to normal college life. College actively makes efforts to help us stay up to date by organizing workshops for new software. I still feel like they can do better but it's not that bad.

I am dissatisfied because of the faculty members, and there were no placements provided in 2018.
Placements: Placements are not provided by the college. But students are able to find jobs on our own. Some of us got to start our own design studios. The salaries offered varies from Rs. 15,000 per month to Rs. 25,000 per month. Almost 100% of the students do an internship because it was compulsory for our degree.
Infrastructure: We had facilities such as Wi-Fi, library, air-conditioned classrooms. Our hostels were the best, and the food served was very good. Rooms were also good. There was a very good environment. The best part was the friendly staff who were very supportive and caring. We also used to play cricket, football, shuttle, etc.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were good and very friendly. But they do have any knowledge about the subjects. Mainly the lady staff used to come to college just because they didn't want to sit at home. They come to college and talk stories about others and leave. By the end of the course, students gain nothing.
Other: I opted for this course because of my parents. It would be better if they teach relevant things. We have a cultural fest called Miraki held on our campus.

Review of ICAT Design And Media College.
Placements: The placement programme in our college is bad, but I managed to get placed along with a few others in a company with a salary package of more than 3 LPA. Others students are struggling to get placed in companies with a salary of more than Rs. 15,000 per month. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 3-4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Many students got placed in some random startups. The top recruiting company visited our college is TCS. Roles like 3D designers, 3D Modelling, VFX, multimedia, game design and developers are offered to the students. A top role offered in our department is a 3D designer. Many startups hire students for 3D designers, AR design and VR gamification. Most of us had to find our own internship because the college didn't care about it. Our college care only about money.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the worst. Our college provides huge classrooms. The library is filled with old books, but it has nothing related to our course. Our college has a modern and professional look only till the reception. Once you look into the classrooms, you will think that I am stuck in this dungeon for the next 3 years. Our college does not provide labs. We only have classrooms. If we have to learn some new about technology, we should be lucky enough to own a laptop that could run that technology. In these 3 years, I have never downloaded even a single picture file from the high-speed internet because my exhausted 64 Kbps mobile data can load the files faster. Our college warned us not to misuse their high-speed Wi-Fi by downloading movies and games.
Faculty: There is no such thing as teaching here. Teachers take a presentation from Udemy and recite it from the projector. Our department head teaches UI, but game design and UI are not similar. We never saw our HOD to teach in a presentation. In our course, we have to learn by ourselves online. If you need time to prepare for something without leaving a break in your resume, then this place is the best place for you. You will get a degree if you can provide enough money.
Other: Our college organises the annual cultural event named Miraki, and it is decent. Our college makes students collect sponsorships and force us to create design materials for the event. Our college also forces the students to give positive reviews about the college, If you look at the Google reviews, any review that has more than 3 stars is forced, because no one would rate this college with anything apart from 1 star.
