Very bad placements for BBA and a very bad crowd. Too much strength, above the capacity.

Placements: There are no placements for BBA in IBS, Hyderabad. It's a waste joining in this college if you want placements. In my batch, there were 300 students and 0 got placed. It's only a good place to chill. Studies are fine, but companies for BBA are zero. They get companies only for MBA.

An honest review on IBS Hyderabad.

Placements: The placements for finance are good, marketing students have got the entry-level jobs and are not that great. If you are looking for a return on ROI, this is not the place that you should look for. HR does not have great placement scenario as well, so do not expect it to be great.

IBS is a college with good booming and with average placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. The average salary package offered was up to 6 LPA. RoI is not that good. Very few companies visited our college for campus placements with good profile. Sales profiles would have a higher preference and rest start-up companies visited the college for the placement. Overall, there are average placements.

A review on how is IBS-Hyderabad and what is it that, which can be taken out from there.

Placements: For our senior batch (2014-2016), the placement was really good. Almost 95 percent of the students were placed successfully. Around 130 companies had come for our recruitment. For my batch (2015-2017) the placements were not up to the mark. The initial inflow of companies was really good. Later on, the frequency in which companies came in got reducing gradually.

IBS - A management college, where the only thing lacking is the management of everything.

Placements: The placements as advertised are not 100%. If you look beyond their bold claims of maximum and average packages, the actual package offered to fluctuate between 5 to 6.5 LPA CTC. The roles offered are meant for graduates and not for postgraduate managerial positions. Overall, 20 students out of 1100 got placed. The people with the work experience can score packages of around 9-10 LPA.

Bad placements in 2016 and pathetic food

Placements: The average package is 6 lacs. The placements at IBS are quite good but the only negative thing is the batch size, there are around 1200 students in one year or 2500 1st and 2nd year put together. HR placements are below expectations. This college follows case study learning. 80% of the total students get placements. Mostly banks and insurance companies come for placements where sales is all what you have to do and after spending 16 lakhs and you don’t want to do that. A big no to operations fro...

It is a good place to get a good ROI if you work hard and intelligent in this competitive campus.

Placements: Placements in our college were not up to the mark, and ROI (return on investment) is very low. The average salary package offered in our college is around 6 LPA. Mostly marketing-centric although college is under ICAI still good finance profiles are not offered to students. Placements are neither bad nor worst, and it is up to students at last.

Some lecturers teach in Hindi in this premium college. Case base study is good. The college is far from the city but the campus is nice. I found Hindi speaking lecturers being partial against non-Hindi students like me. Also, pure drinking water should be supplied in the hostels.

The good aspects of the college included the lush green campus, the mango orchards, and a few faculty members. The bad aspects of the college are that it is overcrowded. The fee is high which ends up giving it a bad ROI. There is a lack of good professors who have the ability to teach MBA students. The college administration has an orthodox mentality. In order to achieve 100%placements, they request the companies to reduce the packages and take more students. And hence, this will go on.

College life is good which involves a lot of activities. Teaching pedagogy is ok and the faculty is average. Hostel facilities are average but the administration is slow and is quite rude and arrogant by nature. The college authorities are not at all cooperative neither generous enough. The batch size is more than thousand every year which makes the placement quality average as placing thousand students is very difficult. The competition is very intense as well as struggling to get good placemen...

ICFAI Business School is amongst the top colleges for pursuing MBA. The college has a good faculty and also follows the Harvard case based study pattern. The college also exposes students to various extra-curricular activities. Coming to placements, the college needs to improve it a lot.

ICFAI business school is very good in reference with facilities and infrastructure but placement, I can't suggest as now I am still in first year and there are less scope for HR. Good companies do not come for HR students and for Hyderabad campus, ROI is very low.

Management wise, it's one of the worst colleges and the excessive intake every year adds to the flaws in management on a whole. But on the contrary, if you want to have a nice college and a hostel life then it's indeed one of the best institutions to step in.

ICFAI Business School has s traditional classroom environment. Starting from group assignments to organizing formal events, learning with friends has a definitive infectious charm. Every student of ICFAI Business School, which is under ICFAI University, Hyderabad allots a randomly assigned study group at the start of his/her course. These study groups are helpful while preparing for regular classes as well as exams. Group projects and presentations are an integral part of the curriculum as they ...

Classes are interactive in nature and are a healthy mix of formal lectures, case studies and presentations. An equal weightage of 50% is given to both internal and external exams. Tests are conducted on a regular basis which can be both, planned as well as surprise in nature. Although surprise tests are not very common but students try and stay as up-to-date as possible in subjects such as Finance and Economics where you won't know when your knowledge is put to test. Students are not given any h...

Two years in the middle of no where. It totally depends on the individual how he spends those two years and what he makes out of himself. Facilities and infrastructure is top notch. Huge intake so great opportunities for networking and meeting different people. Fee structure is extremely high and a large intake hence there's immense competition for placements. But then its like a resort with all sporting facilities etc. One hell of a ride.

Classes in IBS are more of a discussion based on the case studies , rather than default lectures. Professors are well endowed with the subject knowledge and capable of delivering the same to students. Students are drawn from all walks of life, both experienced as well as freshers, across various stream of education. The college hosts an Inter-college sports fest called Aaveg and an Inter college cultural fest called Trishna, attracting participation from a host of Business schools from across ...

The placements for B.A. economics in ICFAI university Hyderabad .

Placements: I joined here expecting placements, but they told me there are no placements. People who expect placements should not get into this college. Even Dean Sir said that placements are low and companies have not been coming for the past two years because people are not willing to take placements.

I am absolutely unhappy with the placements and also internships.

Placements: BBA at ICFAI has a great placement cell, but it does not provide placements to the students as they have promised during admission. They said that big MNCs would come to hire from BBA, but I didn't find any MNC coming to IBS Hyderabad to hire students, although it is the main campus of ICFAI. I am quite disappointed.
