The eligibility criteria for the MBA programme at IFMR Chennai are as follows:

1. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised institute/university with a minimum aggregate of 60% .
2. Candidates must have been born after January 1, 1997, as per the minimum age requirement.
3. Candidates can be fresh graduates or have work experience up to 36 months.

Yes, IFMR Chennai offers certificate courses in four specialisations. These are Data Science, Blockchain Management, Blockchain Leadership and FinTech. Candidates who hold a UG degree in the relevant streams are eligible to apply for the course.

For MBA:

     Tution fees is INR 7.28 Lacs per year.

     Total fees including hostel and mess INR 13.28 per year.

Integrated programme (MBA+BBA)

     Tuition fee for the first three years: INR 5 Lacs per year.

     Tuition fee for the MBA years (4th and 5th year):INR 7.28 Lacs per year.

Yes, you can get admission in IFMR Chennai for BBA with 60% in Class 12th.  Applicants must have passed Class XII or equivalent and achieved an overall performance of 60% or equivalent. Good BBA colleges accept admissions through GD/PI rounds and students from any stream with 50-60% marks in 12th can apply for them. Candidates must qualify for one of the entrance exams such as IPMAT, SAT, KREA Aptitude Test, CAT, CMAT, GATE, etc.

The minimum marks required for MBA admission at IFMR Chennai in 2023 vary based on the entrance exam. For CAT, the expected cutoff is 80 percentile. For XAT, the cutoff is 75 percentile. Yes, IFMR Graduate School of Business can be considered as a good college as it is one of the schools of Krea University and has been accredited by the South Asian Quality Assurance System (SAQS) for five years since December 2017. The college was established in 1970 and is located in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. 

The selection process for the BBA programme through IPMAT involves an aptitude test and evaluations in written communication and personal interview (PI). The selection criteria are divided into IPMAT score (50%), Personal Interview score (30%), and XII Std. score (20%). The merit list is created based on the candidate’s performance in these areas, determining the final selection. Applicants applying for the IPMAT exam should have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate in both Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent CGPA. Applicants belonging to SC, ST or PwD (DA) categories must have secured at least 55% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in Class 10. Applicants must have passed the qualifying exam in the years 2022, 2023 or appearing in 2024. The minimum IPMAT score required for admission to BBA varies depending on the college or university. For example, to qualify for admission to Nirma University, students must score at least 60% in their 10+2 exam from a recognised Indian school, and the minimum and maximum Nirma IPMAT cut off varies for different categories.

In order to get admission to MBA at IFMR Chennai, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Candidates who secure the minimum of 60% aggregate in graduation are eligible to apply for the course. Additionally, candidates having minimum three years of work experience will be given extra credits during the selection process. Admission to this course is entirely entrance-based. Candidates are required to qualify for either CAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ GRE/ GMAT enrance exams with a valid percentile/ rank. The final admission will be offered based on candidates performance in the Personal Interview (PI) round. 

CMAT 2025 is scheduled to be held on January 25, 2025, almost four months ahead of previous years. The CMAT exam is usually held in March-April, but in 2023 and 2024, it was held in May. The last time CMAT was held in January was in the year 2019. 

The NTA has announced registration dates via an official circular, which has been released online at the NTA website on November 14, 2024. The CMAT 2025 exam schedule includes registration window open and close dates and form correction dates. CMAT 2025 registration has started, and the last date to apply is December 13, 2024, and the admit card is expected to be released on January 20, 2025.
