Admission to the BTech course at IIIT Kota is solely based on the candidate’s JEE Main exam score, followed by the centralised counselling process regulated by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), through which they are allotted a seat. Hence, the OJEE exam is not necessary for admission to the BTech programme at IIIT Kota. Candidates also need to fulfil the eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the course. The eligibility criteria is that candidate mst have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% in Science stream.

JEE Main Registration 2024 session 2 last date was March 4. NTA released JEE Main 2024 Application form session 2 on February 2. JEE Main Application form 2024 session 2 was available online on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. Candidates who have applied for JEE Main 2024 session 1 had not register again. Such candidates only need to fill the paper details (BE/BTech or BArch/BPlan) and pay application fees. JEE Main 2024 registration last date session 2 was March 4.

IIIT Kota BTech doesn't come free of course. Candidates have to submit a minimum fee of INR 6.8 lakh, after completing all the admission procedure. IIIT Kota offers UG, PG and PhD course in various specialisations. BTech is the flagship course offered by the Institution. IIIT Kota offers a four-year BTech programme in two specialisations in full-time mode. As per IIIT Kota JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 31608 for General category candidates in All India quota for Electronics & Communication Engineering. IIIT Kota has a strict dress code and allows only restricted timings for outside movements for girl students. The college has multiple sports facilities and a hygienic mess, but students have to pay additional expenses for eating out. Attendance policy is strict, and there are penalties for incomplete attendance. The college culture is diverse, with no language challenges, and support staff is available for all students. Academically, the schedule is relatively hectic, and there are textbook-based lectures with occasional case studies. The college has a well-stocked library and supports research activities. Security measures include guards and CCTV cameras, and outsiders can enter the campus without permission. Ragging is strictly prohibited, and students can be rusticated if found guilty. Overall, the college provides a safe and academically robust environment for its students.
