Out of these 76 registered for the 2024 drive and 50 students were placed. Furthermore, the highest package offered was INR 64 LPA and was bagged by CSE students. The IIIT Surat average package and median package stood at INR 12.92 LPA and INR 11.75 LPA, respectively. B.Tech in computer science from the IIIT Surat, which offers good placements and the best faculty.

Placements: 50–60% of the students get successfully placed at our college. In the CSE, students are getting multiple placements at the IIIT Surat. The average package offered at the college was between 4 and 9 LPAs. Many big technical firms, such as Accenture, Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, Infosys, American Express, etc., visit our college for placements.

Infrastructure: IIIT Surat has really good infrastructure for the CSE course. Students were provided with all the necessary facilities at this college. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, computer labs, hostel, sports and all other facilities were given to the students. The food in the canteen and mess was good to eat. Medical facilities were available for emergency situations.

Faculty: IIIT Surat has a team of highly qualified and knowledgeable professors in the CSE course. Teachers were helpful and supportive of the students. The quality of teaching was best at the IIIT Surat. The course curriculum of the college was relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams were at a moderately difficult level.

Average college with average placements and below-average campus life.

Placements: As of now, I have completed my sixth semester, so my placement is going to start in August. But I can tell you about last year's performance. As far as I know, out of 130 students, only 42 are placed in Placement Season 2023-2024 (combined ECE and CSE), and the highest package was 24 LPA. Most of my seniors have gotten summer internships on-campus and off-campus, so by seeing you, consider that we had an average placement season last year, but we are hoping for a better one this year.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is below average when compared to other institutions. We have only a single building in which we have our classes and labs (there are separate classes for labs and theory). But one of the main disadvantages is that we don't have a permanent hostel to stay in. As of now, first-year students are staying in a school that is 10 km away from the college. The same situation is true for the second, third, and final-year students. Students are not even getting the basic facilities at their college and hostel.

Faculty: The faculty of our college has good knowledge about the subject, but they are not too supportive of the students. They are just interested in the theory part rather than the practical part, and they never support the extracurricular activities of the students in the college.

Other: As per my opinion, the facilities are comparatively lesser than many IIITs, but the college is not at all value for money, and we don't even have a 10-acre campus, and we don't even have an auditorium in our college. We will have two events every year, which include sports and extracurricular activities. The campus is very boring because there are no places to sit.

Placements: Nearly 50% of students are getting placed from on-campus placements, with the highest being around 25 LPA. The average may be around 10 LPA, and the lowest is still unknown. Electronics and communication students get better placement than computer science students, with around 60% of students getting internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: The college has basic infrastructure with no huge library, just a small room with 3 racks of books. Labs are good, and faculty members are also good. The hostel has poor Wi-Fi; we don't even have proper signal for phone calls. The hostel is far from the college; one needs to travel for 30 minutes to reach it.

Faculty: Some faculty members are supportive and have high knowledge. Our college has the best curriculum; we learn many things advanced and earlier than other colleges. Semester exams are moderate; students who can study can pass and get a good CGPA. Around 90% pass percentage is maintained.

Other: I was a bright student in my schooling; computer science would be the best option for me to understand how the technology works. I need to be more focused on practicing, and our college has no fests.

Placements: In 2022, more than 70% of the students were placed. In 2023, the process is ongoing, and 50% of the students have been placed so far. The highest to date is 34 LPA ( Lacs per annum). The top companies that come are for ECE core include G-electronics and other software companies.

Infrastructure: This college is relatively new in terms of, as it operates at NIT Surat. Starting last year, it began functioning on its own campus. Despite its newness, the college offers well-equipped classrooms and labs. The library and facilities, including kabaddi, badminton, and volleyball courts.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified, although there are a few exceptions. The course curriculum leans slightly toward electronics, and the faculty also has a strong hold on electronics. However, students interested in software can learn independently.

Other: Clubs and events are very active at this college. The fees of this college are good.

Honest review of IIIT Surat.

Placements: In 2022, more than 70% of the students were placed and in 2023, it is going on and 50% of the students have been placed until now. The highest placement till now is 34 LPA. The top companies for the ECE course are G-Electronics and other software companies on this list.

Infrastructure: This college is very new in infrastructure; earlier, it was running at NIT Surat. From last year to last year, it started on its own campus. But classrooms and labs are very smooth and available. Library and sports facilities are also available. Kabaddi courts, badminton court and volleyball courts are available.

Deep Insights of IIIT Surat.

Placements: Placements at our college are average, as very few companies offering more than 20 LPA visit our campus to hire students for job openings. Consequently, it becomes challenging to maintain an average package exceeding 12 LPA. Currently, our average package stands at 10 LPA, with the highest package being 34 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our curriculum is very well-organized and gets updated periodically to align with the requirements of the IT industry. Regarding infrastructure, our college, spread across 28 acres of land, has poor campus facilities, and classrooms and labs are not up to par. Moreover, our hostel, located 12 km away from the campus on the outskirts of the city, makes daily commuting and staying away from the city center quite inconvenient.

Faculty: Our faculty members are insufficient in number compared to the requirements. As a result, students often struggle to grasp concepts in subjects where a single faculty member teaches multiple subjects, lacking expertise in some. Examinations are conducted in the form of quizzes, midterms, and finals. Quizzes, worth 10 marks each, are held twice per semester per subject, while midterms and finals are conducted once per subject per semester.

Other: Our college fests are not as grand as those of other institutions, but they occur frequently to engage students in extracurricular activities.
