Review of IIM Amritsar - Indian Institute of Management.

Placements: In the 2019-2021 batch, there were 100% summer placements, but few internships were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Everything seems to be not streamlined now. The batch strength of 150 students is a slight concern now and even after COVID-19 situation in terms of final placements. I am sure that it is not a problem to place students from the batch but is a challenge for students to get their desired placements in terms of two out of three things, i.e., company, role and salary package.

Decent college, growing fast but still lot to build upon.

Placements: Placement are average here in college in comparison to what it is boasted about Iims. Though 100% placement are provided by the college so in the end every student gets placed (atleast for 2nd batch). If you are a fresher then you'll definitely have to struggle much harder in comparison to work ex guys. The highest package offered was 54 LPA offered by Tolaram group for overseas location (most probably to Nigeria). Average package was around 11 LPA and minimum was around 6 LPA. Domestic the high...

Our college scores well if you consider only education as the main parameter.

Placements: So far, the college has managed to deliver some percentage of placement from inception in summer and final as well. The average salary package offered in final placement in the year 2018 ranges from 11-12 LPA, which I feel to be good considering the batch size we had in third-generation IIMs. In the same year, summer placements were excellent with the average salary ranges between Rs. 50,000-60,000 per month. All the credits go to students, who managed to do overall good work in all the activiti...
