In terms of the availability of skilled Product Managers, India trails well behind the United States. According to an article, 1.8 million individuals work in Product Management roles in the United States, and demand for Product Manager jobs is expanding at a staggering 32 per cent rate. In comparison, India has only 20,000 Product Managers. The numerous vacancies vacant for merely entry-level Product Managers are also reflected in LinkedIn searches. The rising skill gap in the workforce is due to this.
The flagship program by Wiley's WileyNXT and IIM Lucknow offers a joint certification from the two prestigious brands as well as Executive Alumni Status to the learners. It is curated for a diverse target audience, either already involved in developing and managing products or aspiring to transition to similar roles. The intensive seven-month experiential learning programme is designed to give learners with job readiness from day one.
According to credible industry research, more than 9 out of 10 Indian organisations are combining functions and attempting to fill unfilled positions internally. Product Management, Consulting, and Program & Project Management were the top three functions in India with the highest internal mobility rate in 2020. Product managers in India earn an average compensation of Rs 16.8 lakh per year, which is predicted to rise to Rs 30 lakhs per year with experience and other abilities.
Commenting on the program’s utility, Sangeet Aggarwal, Operations Manager, GG Industries, and one of the certified learners in IIM Lucknow - Wiley Executive Program in Data-Driven Product Management said, “The programme aims to help product managers harness the multiple skill competencies that are needed for developing and managing successful products in a post-covid world, along with skills for mining data for effective decision making and design thinking for complex problem solving, leading to better innovations and product success. The course also sets the foundations for machine learning and how it can be applied for product success.”

Placements: All students at the campus get placed. The average package at IIM Lucknow is about 28 LPA, and the average stipend for the internship period is 1.6 LPA per month. Almost half of the batch gets PPOs from their interns. Roles are offered in all domains, including Finance, Operations, Consulting, and HR.
Placements: It is well known for its placement around 100 persent students get placements from IIM Lucknow. The highest package was around 50LPA and the lowest package was 17 LPA, and avarage package was around 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies are flipkart, Amazon, Deloitte, tata consultancy, axix bank etc. 100 persent students get internship from IIM Lucknow in well known companies like icici general insurances, sun farma, reliance industries, flipkart etc.
Placements: Placements ongoing, the highest 1.5 crores, the lowest 10.5 LPA till now, TAS, Meesho, BCG, Mackinsey, Kerney, Accenture etc. All management related roles like consulting, product management, sales and marketing head, general management and operations role, etc. ( all MBA colleges write false numbers in their annual placement report, consider if they say 33 LPA average, then consider it 20 LPA).
Placements: Our college is well-known for its placements. The placement percentage of our college is 100%. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The average salary package offered is 23 LPA. The lowest salary package offered 16 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Sunsilk, Sun Pharma, Axis Bank, ICICI, TCS, etc. Almost 100% of students got internships in well-known companies like Tata Steel, HDFC, Sun Pharma, Deloitte, etc.
Placements: IIM has a very good and active placement cell. Placements start in the pre-final semester. Many top companies, such as Maruti Suzuki, Airport Authority of India, Unschool, Duraroof, etc., come here for placements. The average salary package ranges from 7 LPA to 8 LPA. Approximately 70% of students get placed during the placement process. After getting the degree, I also hope to work for one of the reputed companies in India.
Placements: There was a good placement percentage. Around 95% of students got placements from this college. The highest salary package offered was around 50 LPA, the lowest was 15 LPA, and the average was 20 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Flipkart, Sun Pharma, ICICI Securities Ltd., Axis Bank, etc. Around 100% of students got internships for two months at well-known companies like TCS, HDFC Bank, Amazon India, Deloitte, etc.
