PhD (Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering) Spring 2024 written test & interview will be scheduled on Feb 23, 2024. A few more updates are as follows:
- PhD (Physics) Spring 2024 written test & offline interviews will be scheduled tentatively on Feb 26, 2024 and Feb 27, 2024.
- PhD (Chemistry) 2024 applications are open till Feb 28, 2024 and interviews will be conducted on Mar 15, 2024.
IIT Indore offers PhD course across 16 specialisations. This course is taught through the three departments such as the Department of Engineering, Department of Science and Department of Humanities & Social Science. Apart from this, the institute also offers two dual degree courses namely, MTech-PhD and MSc-PhD, where students studying in either of the PG courses can convert their respective courses in the third semester into a dual degree. IIT Indore shortlists candidates based on GATE/ UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET score, followed by an interview round.

The overall campus of IIT Indore is safe with strict security for both girls and boys. IITI is well-known for its annual student initiatives and events. Hostel life at IIT Indore is one of the best in all the ITIs. Newly constructed hostel building in the permanent campus has a great infrastructure.
